U haul dispatch failed miserably

I was disappointed and filing a claim to U-Haul and my American Express card for a fraud because when we pick up the truck and turned the engine before start driving the mileage was 33348. We noted the mileage because I only purchase 20 or 30 miles total from Chandler AZ to Scottsdale Blvd,, AZ to pick up some heavy furnitures. I pick it up around 6 pm, drop it off at 2224 from their box at the back of the smoke shop. I noticed a charge from my Amex for $1000 plus from U-Haul and noted that u put 32348 instead of 33348 when I picked it up and 33413 when I dropped it off from your receipts but it was 33411 when I parked the truck behind your smoke shop. From 85226 to this address 17777 N. Scottsdale Rd., 85255 is only 30 miles each way, 60 miles round trip. How did I end up with 1000 plus miles as charge??? I have witnesses, cameras to where I parked the U-Haul truck in the apartment in Scottsdale, the person of whom I bought the furniture who saw us the whole time, my gps and I have people with me as witnesses, my video camera from my house when I pick up the truck and when I unloaded the furnitures and when I have to leave to return the truck. That is not 1000 miles! Whoever release the truck made a typo on the 32348 instead of 33348! To calculate my mileage I traveled about 63 miles from my house to Scottsdale address RT and not 1000 plus miles. Charging of $1481.61 is so obvious as a fraud alert transaction especially it’s only 63 miles and I told the person I’m going to Scottsdale and I only want 20-30 miles. Please be careful with transactions at this shop! The shop close when I picked up the truck and when I realized your receipts was all typo with the 2 instead of 3 in the mileage. The U-Haul truck was all over traffic camera in Hwy 10, 60, 101 and at the apartment in Scottsdale and my house camera video time stamp,.

This location is operated as a sideline business for a smoke shop. I had to try to acquire the key from the smoke shop attendant who was completely clueless. He had to call his boss twice before finally handing me the key. The entire checkout took over an hour and I had to leave my kids in the car while I hung out in the headshop. It was incredibly inefficient, frustrating, and embarrassing. No one should ever have to endure that process.

Make sure we get proper equipment and proper documentation. They even pretend to take a reservation then at pick up couldn't find it
