Instructions were perfectly clear, only if you were able to provide your location. If not, the instructions did not help or provide any confidence that you were doing the right thing. No one was there to confirm the drop off or answer any calls made to the location.

The location is completely wrong. It’s on another street and there’s very little signage. Shout out to the U-Haul rep that helped me find it. He was extremely helpful and nice.

This method of pickup does not allow for any oversight or review or help. Plus the instructions that were given required more detail.

I booked the truck 3 weeks ahead to be picked up in Dundas. Get a call day before telling me I have to go to a very unsafe part of downtown Hamilton to pick it up. Parked on a side road, NOT JOHN STREET and a guy in a hoody standing by the truck was the agent for Uhaul. Very shady. A horrible experience. I DO NOT buy the excuse of 1 way rental and only place it is available. All that had to be done was deliver the truck to Dundas as per my reservation. This has happened 2x now. UHAUL needs to fix this! I am writing a review sharing this horrible service so that others do not get trapped into location changes that UHAUL claims as unavoidable. Will never use UHAUL again.

Worst location. Didn't want to 1 star but have too. Google maps shows on John St. But it's on next street. Nobody is available on site to help you. Waited half an hour beyond pick up time but no one was there even after doing online check in. Then we had to call u haul for the keys. Never going back to u haul and this location. Home depot is more reasonable and good service.

The adresss that was givien for Truss does not exist and is a fenced off location, the vehicles were the next street over on Caroline and I needed to cal U-Haul to figure out where it was. The location is also an abandoned building with no one to talk to. I would neverrecommend this location to anyone.

No one was around to help; there were no instructions how to check in or get the keys; I used u-haul in the past a number of times and it was always great; this experience was abysmal

I had requested 3 dozen moving blankets a furniture dolly and a utility dolly and none of that was in the truck when I picked it up.

Horribly difficult to navigate through the rental with the app. Location notes are not clear. At no time does the app or the location say the pickup and dropoff is on CATHERINE st. Gas milage on this vehicle was spectacularly poor half tank for 150 km without tow option. Uhaul app is spectacularly glitchy - camera takes backward facing only, location geofence is wrong, had to get resent 4 times before could complete... 50 minutes to finish app is a horrible rental experience.

Our drop off time was 7:30 pm & whatever the location was we reached there at 7:15 only but unfortunately the direction was so poorly mentioned. The name of the store & street address were both 16 min apart from each other , as a whole , one address was shown at 2 different locations ( On searching on internet, Trust production inc & 236 John street both are 16 minutes apart) & exact drop off place was exactly at the opposite site , it took us 45 minutes to search & in that way u haul deducted $113 extra from my account for the up time . Also, there’s wasn’t any customer care on call available at that time , they got closed at 5. It’s so poorly run , they need to work on it . Am gonna file a complaint on them now for charging me extra $113.

address is incorrect. Luckily I asked a neibouring business if he knew where the uhaul drop of was, he suggested I drive around the block, it was a banner on a fence. Terrible signage and address needs to be corrected
