Attempted to make a change to my reservation (extend mileage). App would not allow the change > directed me to website. Website would not allow me to make the change as instructed. Called 1-800 which instructed me to make the change in the app. Endless loop that put my safety at risk (unoccupied & unsafe location), and frustrated my rental.David K.

Satisfied. She knew what she was doing. Not really liking the overall direction of uhaul. Seems so out of sync. Online I have been paying for the road package of 5 dollars, when I told her she could not find it on her page, she called her boss and they had never heard of it. We automatically have road hazard according to her boss without paying the 5 dollars. I rent often and have never have had a smooth transaction,David P.

Associate was not educated on renting a U-Haul, fuel was not full in truck but she put that it was and didn't know how to fix it. No photos were available to show damage so I had to take my own. They didn't not do a walk around with us. Will not rent from there ever againHunter B.
Be sure the customer is capable of hooking up the trailer. I happen to be experienced in doing that. The trailer was pretty heavy to lift to attach to the truck and being 80 years old it was a task. Also I thought it is the responsibility of UHaul to be sure lights work and trailer is attached secular.Jim B.

The transmission has shifting problems, been over charged on bill, driven 30 miles on the move, fill the tank to the level required, they left early for the Labor Day weekend at 3 pm Saturday. I returned the truck the same day that was rented on the 2nd of September at 4:30 pm, couldn't find the yellow drop box, call the u-haul dealer on North Clack st. The keys were left in a black Box that stated payments. The statement that was emailed showed a charged of $89.85 for WHAT I do not know James Furman 325 514-9837James F.

The truck we were supposed to get had the battery removed and the cables cut! The location wasn't even aware of this until they gave us the keys and went out to the vehicle. Also it took 20 minutes just to get the contract to print after we had already done all the paperwork ahead of time online. It ended up taking 3 HOURS to secure a truck for our move. This was completely unacceptable and we will NEVER EVER EVER use this facility again. We ended up having to go to a totally different location to finally get a truck.Matt P.

The rep at this location had no training and I had to do my rental over the phone. She never got out of her chair for the whole process. The return was better but the rep (a storage DM) didn't give one crap about Uhaul. I spent, gas included, almost $400 to make a round trip to Brownwood from Abilene, approx. 160 miles...felt like I got bent over.MICHAEL D.

Be sure the gas tank is not on empty when the customer picks it up. I had to immediately go put in gas because the warning light came on before I got more than 5 miles away.JAMES H.
Had no problems what so ever. Moving is a pain anyway. Thanks for finding me a closer location to drop the truck off. l highly recommend y'all. The lady at Turn-key did have some computer problems, but it happens. She was able to call your representative Magna and get me on my way. Thank you Magna. I had to make 2 stops in Abilene. First pick up the truck in one location, then pick up the pads and dolly in the U-hall location. Very unorganized! The truck was not full for the trip. If you turn the lights on at night (which I had to), the signals did not work properly. Emergency brake would not work. The Cabinet lights in the cargo area for unloading would not work. At dark I could not see well. They did not have the moving blankets I reserved. Causing damage to My new and antique furniture and some breakable candles. The Furniture dolly I reserved was also not available so I was given a dolly that was broken and was very difficult to manage. That and the bad cargo lighting caused injury to my Rt knee. My recommendation is the truck be inspected for safety prior to usage of any other customers! This was an unsafe trip! Well below standard operations from Abilene, Texas. The young man in Abilene looked and acted unprofessional. It did not bother him one bit I did not have the tools to move my Home and family.I was very unhappy. My safety was an issue!!!MIKE R.

The entire Uhaul experience was awful. The lady who attempted to help at the 2nd pick-up location (listed above) was polite for the most part and did make a couple of phone calls in order to attempt to rectify Uhaul's errors. We were not given the pads I ordered and were instructed to go to a 3rd location if we wanted them. The truck I reserved over 5 weeks in advance was not available, although I received a phone call from a rude customer service associate when we were on our way to pick the truck up at the location we had not chosen and had no idea where it was. The truck we reserved was not even available once we arrived and when I contacted the lady who originally called me back she said she couldn't help. She also stated I never ordered the pads I didn't receive and was unwilling to do or say anything other than "contact customer service." The associate at the pick-up location, although mostly polite and helpful, continued to take phone calls, help other customers, and do a young lady's hair and makeup while we were attempting to pickup the truck and items we reserved. I explained that we were in a hurry and on a tight timeline due to the changed pickup location and getting lost since we don't know the town. Overall, I appreciate the lady at the pickup location's willingness to help, but she explained to me upon my arrival that she had received chat messages from Uhaul regarding my reservation, but didn't understand the system so she did not confirm.CHERENE M.
AA Alpine storage did a good job, my comment is about U-haul changing our reservation. We made a reservation for pick up on Ambler Ave near ACU, when we checked that location they day before pickup they indicated they had no record of our reservation. To make a long story short, U-haul had changed the size of the truck and the pick up location and we had no record of the change even though U-haul (call to customer service) said the we had been called. Since were on a very tight timeline with graduation schedules, we would have had a big schedule problem and would not have been able to have time to pick up the truck on Saturday morning, if we had not checked with the location we reserved for pick up to confirm the reservation details and pick up.DOUGLAS M.

The only problem with the experience was having to drive 64 miles (roundtrip) to pick the trailer up. because of a variety of variables, I had no choice but to add 64 miles on to a trip that was already 200 miles long.
