This started out as a reservation on Tuesday, the 4th. Your "truck share" system is hugely flawed logistically, as I was required to provide additional identity information upon arrival to pick up the vehicle that I was not aware of prior to arrival. After spending nearly 45 minutes navigating your customer service via phone, I missed my appointment for which the truck was needed. While navigating your customer service, I ended up on the phone with a manager who said he was sitting at home and that there little he could do. He demonstrated a very unprofressional attitude, mentioning that my frustration at the huge inconvenience was not his problem. As the situation progressed, I ended up with a another supervisor that seemed disinterested with the circumstance. Another reservation was offered, and out of necessity, I accepted. My issue is, as I am a restaurant manager of 21 years, I make it a point to be concerned how issues with service within my business affect my customers. At no point was any incentive offered to demonstrate my value as a guest, but instead, I was made to feel ad though all of it was my fault.... despite me showing up almost 30 minutes early to pick up the truck and nobody with your company seemed prepared or interested, in helping me.

Young man who prepared paperwork was efficient and thorough. He was very helpful with whole process. There was a little wait but I have much more at big uhaul sites. Pre-register is best advice.

When I arrived, there was only one employee. She did not pretrip the truck with me but advised that I should come back inside to tell her if there was damage. In fairness, she was very kind to accommodate the price of a rental that was not provided by another provider. However, upon returning the truck, the employee advised that she wasn't there and that I should expect to have a receipt and account reconciliation (I'd authorized double the miles I needed) via email. Again, no one checked the gas, mileage, or cleanliness of the truck. I am very uncomfortable with the way that this was handled, and I don't know that I would recommend that someone else take this path to rental.

Make sure that Mary is the representative assisting them. She is a constant professional. She is polite, courteous, informative and helpful. She made sure that all my questions were answered and helped me through the process.

I rented through the app, but when I got to my destination, I noticed the furniture dolly was not in the truck. I noted it on the app and was supposed to recieve a call, but no call ever came and I was charged for equipment that I did not receive. Very dissatisfied with the transaction!!

I knew that I would possibly be charged for gas, but the odometer showed that I went 10 miles total. So why was I charged for 5 gallons of gas? 4 bucks a gallon for a total of 20 dollars. That is a rip off. I only drove that truck 10 miles! There is NO WAY that I burned 5 gallons worth of gas.

Very little staff but efficient system in place. Not bad for a gas station, the lady who assist me was very kind and helpful. I’d recommend staffing one dedicated u haul staff me member that could focus on uhaul customers only. I had to wait about 15mins until the lady was done with two customers in front of me.

The windshield had three black x damage noted stickers over three windshield dings. One was right in my line of vision. I didn’t notice til I was on the road because it was raining. This sort of damage is illegal in Ma - I’m not sure about other states. It was very difficult driving with it there. This is a terrible way to repair a windshield. You know there are ways to fix it. It made my drive much more difficult.

First off, let me say that because this location is a gas station, the rep who assisted me with the Uhaul renting had to go back and forth when customers came in. It took more than 30 min for me to get the rental after I had a reservation. I think they took on too many responsibility because it was upsetting to know everytime a customer came in to pay for gas he would have to leave me. And on top of that I had to buy an adapter for $12 for the trailer because the one on the trailer is out of date. That cost should have been handled by the rental company. Also, I had the rental for 25 hours, and had to pay another $18.95 for the one hour I was over. Not a satisfied customer.

I requested a truck for 24 hours, the address to the business was incorrect. The person who needed the release the truck to me was a hour late. When I bought the truck the try to charge me for an extra hour b/c my order was from 0900-0900 however sit to them being late I signed the truck out @ 1014 and since I paid for 24 hours I returned if @ 1000.

The 26 foot van I rented was a disaster. Once we got it loaded and started up the road up the road it shook and swayed from side to side. There could not have been any shocks or they were all bad as the hitting a small hump on the road going unto a bridge would jar your teeth out and the entire cab would rattle and shake. It appeared to have been wrecked before as the steering wheel was miss-aligned. When the emblem was square and level, the tires were pointed to the right. The hood would shift from side to at 55 MPH. It shook so bad that several pieces of our furniture were damaged and they had been loaded by U haul crew. It took 93 gallons of gas to travel 496 miles. And the brakes barely would stop the van and squealed so loud it would hurt your ears. The brake pedal would go almost all the way to the floor every time you needed to stop. Metal on metal. And the van had over 157,000 miles on it and it acted and looked like it. It needs to be removed from service at once. I can not believe that U haul allowed such equipment to rented. The average driver could not have handled this van but I have had experience driving larger vehicles and towing larger, heavy trailers and I would never get behind the wheel of this van again.

Your mileage rates are too high. I can go to Enterprise or Hertz or Ryder and pay .39/mile and have a lift gate and a bigger truck. Your mileage cost me more than the truck. I went 21 miles and it cost me almost $20.00. I also do not appreciate the $1.00 environmental fee you attach. It is a ficticious charge and should not be on the bill.

Agent did not properly secure trailer to car. Trailer unhinged from towing ball and scratched paint off bumper. Agent said the incident was out of his hands, but in fact it was completely in his hands, and he should have properly tightened the connection. Good thing the hitch did not detach during transport, as it might have been tragic. If you rent from here, be sure to double check the connection yourself. This borders on incompetence and could be dangerous to you.

I had the worst experience. I was treated so disrespectful. I was cursed at using the f word things were snatched out of my hand the lady even pushed her associate to make him stop talking because he was trying to help me and explain things verses her cursing standing up out of her seat yelling I was frightened had no idea what to do and all I was there to do was try to pay my bill I was made to feel so uncomfortable and I even told her that I am not going to stand here and be treated this way for no reason by someone I don't know I have witnesses and I'm pretty sure it's on the security camera at the stores location as well I expect a full refund of what was debited from my account that was supposed to be put on hold at my bank so this was also without my authorization my attorney will be in contact. I have never been treated so disrespectful.. two notch sc. sunoco

Mary Maris, helped me with hooking up my trailer for my SUV on 3/17/18, Mary was extremely thorough and knowledgeable, making sure the equipment was secured, went over the trailer, making sure I understood how to check equipment for safety during my 13 hour drive. Mary knew, I was by myself with my dog. Mary was Super friendly, understanding and very kind. She made me feel at ease, with such a huge trip ahead, especially being alone. Super Kudo’s to Mary, she is awesome!!!!

Appointment was set up for 7:00am. Could not receive the trailer until 8:15am because no one could release it. Would not recommend this site for any who is on a time schedule.

We tried to to use the app rental at U-Haul.com. I never worked when we got to our location. Nothing loaded. So we had to go inside the store anyway. There all the information was wrong and it took us over 30 minutes to get the rental truck. Bad!

The clerk didn't recognize our reservation and almost charged us double. We had to show her the reservation to validate the price. Also my wife had to hook up the trailer herself and upon return no assistance was rendered. We like uhaul and will certainly use your services again.
