The only issue we had was probably out of their control as the back storage area smelled of strong gasoline fumes and the interior smelled like Marijuana had been smoked in it. An ozone machine would probably help to removed these smells before handing off to the next customer.

Parag P.I was charged an extra day for returning the truck after 11:00 am. I was told at the renting agency in Hiawassee that I needed to return the truck before 1:00 PM ( my pickup time) to avoid an extra charge. I did that yet was charged an extra day. When I tried to email the drop off manager the system would not allow my email to go through. This means I will have to make an extra trip there to resolve the issue.

The rep at this location at least apologized but then said to go back to original location for further help?? Sigh....Will never use UHaul again. Please take before and after pictures people. Use your phones for covering your behind instead of showing it.

CASSANDRA E.The owners and operators of this very small U-Haul rental agency are absolutely the best! Their gas station is hands-down the best one in the entire two Notch northeast area. It sucks that in the two years I lived on that end of town I never had a reason to go to the Sunoco but, even though that I live downtown about 20 minutes away, I will be going there just to visit those people because they're fantastic individuals! They learned me after just one meeting and phone conversation. They really know how to be part of a neighborhood community. I really could go on! Can't recommend this place any more than I have, unless you tempted me just a little bit tahahaha

Only issue is that there wasn't communication between online booking and the actual site in regards to supplies (boxes/mattress bags etc). If these things are out of stock at a location, don't have me pay for them up front... (this isn't a knock on the location, moreso the booking process)
Samuel T.Uhaul representative wasn't there, instead a man working the register assisted me. After waiting in line, I confirmed that this was the correct location and he told us to move the truck. We did. We completed check out online. Went back into the store waited in line to try in keys and he wanted us to say we turned in keys late, even after being there for 20 minutes. Along with that the store smelled like drugs and customer service was awful.
Julio C.There were about 3 persons working there at the time I came in. I interacted with all three during the process of renting and returning the truck. As for being accommodating and professional, it depend on which one you interacted with. One man was quick and dismissive, another was a bland and another was more accommodation and a little more friendly (the female) than the other two. My suggestion is, if you are doing a Uhaul rental business along with another business (in this case a gas station) it shouldn't matter if you are not the one handling the Uhaul area, be kind and attentive when people mistakenly come to you rather than the person assigned for Uhaul. We don't know who is who, so talk to us rather than "point' to where we should go (the older man in the group pointed with his head to where I should go for Uhaul, without barely looking at me).

LAURA W.I was charged for using 1.5 gallons of gas. The fuel gauge still said FULL. Did not appreciate that, after trying for 2.5 days to get in touch with you by phone to confirm pick up location, with absolutely NO ONE to pick up the phone. Not once!! I had to make an unnecessary trip to verify this information. That was upsetting and disappointing

PARAG P.My overall experience with self help renting was good but I was very disappointed that I was charged full price despite turning the truck in a day early and with more gas than when I rented it. There should be some way to adjust the charges in cases such as this.
