I was wrongly charged a cleaning fee for minimal debris that would be expected during the use of a moving vehicle, as well I was charged for 3 gallons of fuel.
With all this being said I reached out to customer service who agreed the cleaning charge was egregious from the start and returned the fee for that, but the fact I was charged in the first place was ridiculous.
They also returned the fee for the fuel charge for a couple reasons, for starters I provided a receipt showing we fueled the vehicle up before returning it, as well as there was a documentation issue where the customer service rep was showing incorrect milage on his end. Regardless 3 gallons of fuel in a truck like that with a fuel tank that large wouldn't be enough to hardly move the fuel needle. the fact that I was hit with both of these charges is also egregious.
i'm not sure if the store receives kickbacks from doing things like this but moving forward if I ever need to rent a moving vehicle I will rethink my choices due to this experience. I would suggest team member training and development before they continue to take advantage of other folks who may not know it.

Picked the U-Haul at 6:30 Pm and Returned at 9:34 Pm . Put the keys in drop keys Box . After that I went online to click return vehicle . REAL SCAM starts here , they want picture of odometer when you have already dropped the key . So they can charge you more money !!! Stay away from these scammers

Keep more pick up trucks on hand so they’re more available to more people. Mileage could be less per mile. Not have a designated drop off time so you’re not charged for another day. Drop off should be by 12 midnight at latest. Try to save people money on deals that you may have to offer

i returned the truck and described that there was a leak in the upper right portion of the cab inside that because it was raining on my trip got 4 boxes soaked as well as their contents. He was more worried that i drove 209 miles more than i was allowed and billed me. Feel bad for the next person if it rains.

Make sure trucks are available that somebody sets a reservation for, I reserved a 15ft truck. When I arrived for pick up the truck was not available. Due to this I had to take the smaller 10ft truck which caused me to have to make multiple trips while moving causing me to pay extra money. I am not very happy with this location.

We rented a pick up truck for 5 hours. Our return time was 7pm on the dot or before. I returned it at 653. 7min early. They didn't want to fool with it, so they told me to check it in online. I wouldn't work. So, they tried to take another days rental because they didn't check it on till 7am next day. I even called UHaul the night before to tell them the situation. My advice...keep your cards locked.

Assistance at the counter was great and the box truck and trailer worked well. The only issue I found was after picking up the truck and driving a bit, I found the hood was not fully closed and latched. I latched it fully but that could have been a big safety concern - especially if used at highway speeds.

The pick up location was fine. The issue is the equipment. I had two blowouts on the trailer on a 340 mile trip. Cheap retread tires. We were left stranded on the side of the interstate for 3.5 hours. We called in the second blowout at 1:34 PM and was told that someone would be there in 50 to 60 minutes. No one showed up until 4:09 PM. That’s 2 hours and 35 minutes when we were told 50 to 60 minutes. That was very unacceptable. I will never use U-haul again. Oh, and the trailer brakes didn’t work either. All around terrible experience!

I've rented probably 8 times from this location over the last couple years and this by far was the worst experience. Still got the job done but the uHaul had a cleanable stain, wasn't at the correct fuel level, had the hood popped until I made it to my destination and was missing the rentable dolly.

A very clean and secure place. My unit had three layers of security, the place looked brand new outside the unit, the staff were professional, and I can't think of much to complain about with them. Very convenient all around. It was climate controlled as well. It was the same temperature the whole time. I would recommend to anyone I know.

The units next to mine had terrible walls.. the base boards looked busted and I HAD a fear my unit was invested by roaches or rats or something. But, I noticed nothing while going through my things. I am out of state. My college daughter came with her dad yesterday. She sent me a pic of the receipt. I was overcharged by $20 for the unit from what I was quoted AND gave an email confirmation for. They also charged me for insurance which I opted out of. I called immediately and got sent to the main UHaul number. The gentleman, Juan, said he could only enter notes in my account and send a message to the manager, Nathaniel, who would call me back. That was about 4pm on 5/15. No call back. So 5/15 today I call back at 2:30 pm. Again sent to main number. Talk to Lisa. Same scenario. She will send ANOTHER message to have manager call me. I need this resolved ASAP for my refund and to make sure I am auto charged correctly going forward. This is a terrible way to run a business! When they were there this afternoon putting things in the unit, they said nobody was in the office but some guy was running around outside trying to help people. Really? U don’t have someone at this busy time of year when kids are moving out of Miami University to staff your office???? I want this resolved ASAP based on what I was quoted. I expect a call back immediately.

I had my stuff stored with you all. Before I could pay off my balance you all rummaged through all of my things and took all of my tool. I just paid you all $300 for a destroyed storage unit. Thank you for stealing all of my tools and kids toys from me and taking my money. Absolute worst and most humiliating experience of my life. You all are horrible for doing this to people.

Well for one they took $100 deposit from me and my son to go move him and then turned around and charged us the remainder amount for the reservation and then charge this again for another reservation then charged us $18 for a fuel charge that was only for an eighth of a tank to find that pretty professional and pretty and valuable and I'm pretty much done with U-Haul after that then the guy had enough nerve to tell me that I was only going to get $32 back no no no I don't agree with that and but you know I was going to sit there and argue with him with a buffoon or an idiot cuz that's all you guys ever hire.

The way they’ve set this storage facility up is not convenient. You have to park on the street and this facility is NOT in a good part of town so leaving your things unattended while you are loading or unloading is not ideal. Would not recommend

Rude blond manager. Inside units not lit. Gave us a truck that looked like potted plants spilled in. Had to have them clean it. After they blew it out n mopped it was slick in spots.
My stuff had been in two units since last November it’s now September. While there they increased my rates! One was seriously the size of a small closet. I had no where else to Tammy stuff so I just had to pay up. It was uncalled for in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They say call to resolve disputes. Why? Are they giving money back? I think not!

My storage unit had trash in it and wholes in the bottom of the halls, I hope there is not a rat or mice problem at this facility I don’t want my things eaten by rats or mice. The staff was helpful and friendly, I would recommend renting trucks Uboxes, and equipment from there but not the storage.

The gentleman who helped me get all set up was amazing. The only negative thing I have to say is they forgot to remove their red lock from the unit before renting it to me and it took about 30 minutes for them to remove it. The manager made sure all the people who came in after me were helped before removing the lock which could have been done between between. It took about 60 seconds once the person walked away from the counter.

The actual facility and staff are clean kind and another business. Now customer service on the other hand dropped the ball not once but twice it was a hassle just to get to the information of where we needed to go. Google gave us more information and direction then your phone service. I'm very displeased with your phone service and I will never use them again ever.

The manager was very helpful and nice, he set up auto pay for us and was very good at explaining all the basics of the location, he drew out a map and explained how to use everything very well. The storage units are really nice, it was very clean and seemed to be safe and in good condition. It was a great experience after a very tiring trip of moving, highly recommend everything related to Uhal.

I was told that that was a big unit I rented and I could barely get my washer and dryer and couch in Theresa well as 6 medium boxes! We spent over 3 hours trying to cram everything in there and rearrange the few items we was storing! So I am BEYOND dissatisfied and this will be the last time I rent from them and I definitely will not be recommending to anyone else!!!!

When COVID struck and people weren’t making their regular income, such as myself, I got no help in trying to save my unit. It was over priced, but the only thing available to me at the time. They weren’t willing to take payments on my balance. Only wanted full payment which I simply wasn’t able to do, due to lesser hours being worked. My unit was sold because I just couldn’t afford to pay the balance. So I had to let family heirlooms go. Very saddened and unhappy with my experience. I won’t be back or rent a truck again.

This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50% of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands. I very much wish I'd chosen to use a different storage facility.
