On return the rear cargo door was stuck open, the individual handling the return said that I had opened the door incorrectly, I have rented several U-Haul trucks and never before had an issue, the individual was insistent that it was my fault and not an equipment issue.
The truck was not inspected for any damage, there was none, the mileage was not checked, the gas level was not checked, I was told merely that I would be emailed a receipt.
The receipt had a cleaning fee of $40; the truck was filthy when I picked it up, and so I have to pay the cleaning fee, the rear cargo area had been swept, there was no trash left in the cab area, just the grime that was there when I picked it up, so I am disputing that charge.
There was a charge for the 1/8th of a tank under what it was when I picked it up, no dispute about that, there was a Fuel Service Fee of $40, I have never picked up a truck with a full tank of gas, so what is the charge for, there was a gas station about 100 yards away, if I had been told that there would be a fee I would had driven to the gas station and added the fuel.
I exceed the mileage allowed, also the truck was returned late, and I was charged an extra day, which is fine except I was not given any extra miles, that does not seem correct. So, I am disputing some of the addition miles charge.
So not a good experience at pick-up or drop off

Customers should not have to scan in their own drivers license. If you want a picture of my license, scan it yourself. There were dirty dishes left in the truck. There are way too many ads for extra items when trying to book a rental. U-Haul used to be much better.

The women at the desk was fantastic! Five or six people were ahead of me in line. She was efficient, friendly, and at one point toggled between the gentelman ahead of us who was a walk-in renter and us with a reservation. Hats off to her. This was Saturday at 11:30 am. March 21. Bravo!

I did not even know about the facility that I ended up renting at by accident. I went to the wrong building thinking it was the one I had rented at. The supposedly “4’x6’” unit that I rented required me to stand my modest-sized couch on end to fit it inside. There’s no way that unit is six feet in either direction. The door latch does not match up with the hinged flap that is supposed to be used to lock it. I had to have someone physically wrangle the lock into place. The lock was not present inside the unit as was supposed to be the case, so I had to go ask for one, and it was just luck that I happened to get there while they were still open. I can’t believe that I’m paying $80 per month for this.

The staff member went above and beyond but had no support from the Uhaul system from start to finish. The system let him rent us an available storage unit but when we arrived at the unit it was padlocked and actually not available for move in. The staff member immediately called his manager and then corporate Uhaul to see what could be done and if there was an available unit close by. Neither were helpful to him and ultimately for us. This staff member deserves better working conditions, he truly went above and beyond to correct a situation that should not have happened in the first place. We lost over an hour of precious moving time to this situation. We now have our daughter's entire apartment crammed into our home, still trying to organize that disaster. We have been moving our college age and young adult kids with Uhaul for years. This was probably the last time though.

I was in shock when I saw the space to store my objects and the size was no bigger then my closest for over $85 a month. This just isn’t right. I have to cancel my space and look for another storage location which has caused a big inconvenience to my mom as I have been holding her stuff and paying for a Uhaul because I can’t find storage. I am so upset about this. I’m sorry, but I would not recommend Uhaul for storage units per the space for the price they require.

This location had my license a for about a month and acted like having my identification card was not a big deal. For this reason alone I called customer service and complained due to the lack of professionalism and regard. Customer service apologize for this location's behavior and said that I will be contacted by a manager within 72 business hours. I was never contacted so I followed up with another call to customer service who apologized and put in a specific request to the traffic control manager with a reference ID number of 2651806 and I should have been contacted within 72 business hours by this specific manager. Due to not receiving this call I called again and I was informed that the manager of the Shillington location Debra Antonelli said that she apologized so they closed out the case. However, I never received an apology from Debra and told the customer service agent that Debra lied and has never contacted me let alone apologize. A few days later I am contacted by Debra, which follows, "Hello. I am emailing to apologize if you felt that your issue was not serious matter and I am glad that you have your licence back. If there is something else that can be done for you in the future we will be here to serve you. Thank you for your business, have good day.
Debra" My reply to this email was, "While I appreciate you reaching out and apologizing, I am unhappy with the fact that it took so long for me to receive an apology. I am also unhappy with the fact that a representative stated you previously reached out to me directly, apologized, and therefore the case was closed. However, this is the first time I received an apology. This apology does not sincerely apologize for the inconveniences your location caused me due to having my licence in your possession for a month. The apology does not cover the flippant behavior of Richard who chuckled at the fact that his colleague who I previously spoke to decided to mail the licence weeks after I gave her my address. This "apology" does not resolve my case and I believe I should be compensated for the inconvenience, unprofessionalism, and disrespect I received from your location.

I did not receive any communication back. Due to all of this I decided I will no longer give my money to this company and removed my belongings to be stored with a company who are respectful, considerate, and professional. When I removed my belongings Debra (who did not wear a mask) serviced me and did not apologize for anything. I received an email that asked for my feedback and when I click the link it states that I've already given my feedback. Usually I'd think that this is a glitch but due to the lack integrity shown by this location I decided to give my feedback another way encase someone did something unprofessional and unethical again. I will also be reporting Debra and this location to the United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration since I have witnessed Debra interact with/service clients inside and outside the facility without wearing a mask. My move-out date was 6/26/2020 and I expect to be able to see my feed back until the end of August 2020.
