This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. They changed my reservation, didn't tell me. I had to find someone to drive me 30 minutes away to find the truck. When we got there there is no reception so you can't use the app. There was no one at the location. We had to drive another 10 minutes to find reception to call them. I called them 4 times and someone finally picked up and it sounded like he was asleep. When we got to the truck it was covered in mud, had dirty baby wipes in the cab and spilled noodle soup all over the floor. I called U-Haul against and they said they didn't realize I had a reservation when I had made the reservation over a month ago. When I tried to contact uhaul for some sort of resolution they were supposed to call me, never called me back. I had to call 5 separate times to resolve the issue and still have no had resolution. And now I am just finding out that this same location, used my U-Haul account to make another reservation and charged me fraudulently $546 for a rental I never made. I wasn't even in the province at the time of the reservation. I will never be renting from U-Haul again.

Location is a secondary business, no sign to indicate it’s a UHaul pick up location, no office or business to go into. Just the Uhaul truck we were picking up in the parking lot. Truck floor was covered in a sticky tar like substance, and agent had no interest in cleaning. In fact, agent wanted to do the pick up over the phone! A broken down box was provided to cover part of the truck floor. We ordered 24 blankets, and a box with 4 dirty blankets was offered. If we didn’t absolutely require the truck that morning, I would have contacted the area manager for a different rental location and vehicle.

They had just moved to this location, but someone was there to meet me and give me the keys. Truck was clean, and has tank was filled up! All good
