Ken PBeing charged a full month rent for boxes which were returned 2 days after the due date seems very unfair. Having to pay for storage space I was not using seems excessive. Employees are exceptional but rent policy will keep me away from now on.

I knew I should’ve never moved forward when they couldn’t even get the scheduling correct. Every single step of the way was like pulling teeth trying to get you guys to uphold your word and get everything delivered when it was supposed to. every time I called customer service the one 800 number everyone just lied to me. I had to call you guys every single step of the way to make sure you guys didn’t mess anything up. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a company ever! I am never using U-Haul ever again for anything!

will sMost of these do not apply to me. Never went to the facility. Did not ask for recommendations, told them what I wanted. Staff was friendly. Timing, eh. That's a whole other story. Did not need the furniture pads. I can say I am happy with my overall experience. However, in this day and age tracking should be a thing for boxes. In the matter of an hour I was told it was here, then it wasn't then I got an email saying it was here and then told by an agent that it was here. What a convoluted mess. My me was wrong so there's that.

Rebecca BOur move with Ubox was a wonderful experience overall. Everything was timely and transparent. We were recommended four uboxes and only needed three, but we were refunded the shipping cost on the 4th, so there was no issue.
Stephen PI was pleased with the timeliness and courtesy of the communication with the local office. However, Both The UBox delivery (1 hour) and pickup (1.5 hours) were well before the promised delivery windows. While better than late, it put us in a tough position since we weren’t home for dropoff and really problematic for the pickup since we had to rush unexpectedly and forgot some items. The delivery person was very friendly, competent and efficient - which can explain why she was ahead of schedule. We received notification of these changes just 15 minutes before Uhaul arrival and could not change our plans. Way too many furniture pads (2 bags). Didn’t open either.
Eugene MI have had a U-Box with UHaul for nearly four years and have always received exemplary service. Even when my box was relocated from Sunset to Salt Lake, everyone was very helpful in assisting me in locating it and gaining access. If I ever store anything again it will be with UHaul. Thank you.
Cathy JThere was a delay in arrival. When I called, they were unable to provide any helpful or specific information regarding where the U-box is or how long the delay would be. Upon arrival, 2 items were damaged. One of them (TV console), completely destroyed.

Joseph PI had 3 containers delivered to me in Shelly Idaho..these went into storage in Idaho Falls. I them shipped to Utah. They arrived on time no issues..then we had a change in plans..1 container got reloaded and shipped to Rigby Idaho..arrived early..no problems whatsoever everybody was so nice..especially the young woman who did the pick ups and delivery’s in Idaho..she did the delivery and pick up in the snow at night..thank you for her!!!

Jon NMy experience was and still is very bad. One of my boxes arrived 12 days late and I can’t get a hold of anyone at U-Haul to get me my guarantee money back. Also I was over charged since it was late. Not a good look for a company this large. Very unhappy customer.

Zach HThis survey is NOT for the Utah location, it is for the On-Line process and the Englewood Colorado (S Sante Fe Dr) location. The surveys for the Colorado no longer work. I WILL NEVER USE U-HAUL AGAIN!!!! Their On-Line reservation needs to change!!! If a person is wanting to reserve something at a specific location and that location can’t do it for whatever reason, don’t make that location available!!! That is the 1st issue I ran into, I reserved 3 U-Boxes at the Lakewood (Cedar Street) location and a 5x9 utility trailer with ramp and notch in nose of trailer for a motorcycle trailer. I put the reservation in 1.5 MONTHS before I actually needed it. I got a text 3 DAYS before the needed date stating that my reservation is now at the Englewood (S Sante Fe Dr) location. Since I was using a moving company to load my stuff into their truck and then unload it into the U-Boxes, and paying them $150 per hour, this made me irritated because that was an hour round trip out of the way (costing me an additional $150 for the movers). When I called U-Haul about this they stated that going through the On-Line system it does state that nothing is guaranteed through it! I told them...then why state it’s available at the location when it’s not!! They had no response other then it’s not guaranteed. So, I went ahead and did it. I got to the Englewood location and happened to catch the Manager of the location that day (Michelle...sorry if it is misspelled). Michelle initially told me that they had NO empty U-Boxes at that location!! I waited for roughly another 15 minutes (there was a line) to talk to her. I showed her my reservation # and that it was supposed to be ready by 9am, it was 10:30am when I arrived. Michelle looked it up and found the reservation. She then started texting on her phone. She finally told me that they had been “found” (they were out in the parking lot on trailers) and needed to be cleaned and prepped. I asked why they hadn’t been made ready for me already and she didn’t answer. So I told the movers that were waiting what was going on. After I asked Michelle a few more questions (that she really couldn’t answer) she became VERY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!! So I waited roughly 1 hour there while they prepped the 3 U-Boxes (another $150 that was unnecessary). Then I get to my out of state destination just to find out that U-Haul admittedly LOST ONE OF MY UBOXES!!! It took them 15 DAYS to FIND IT!!! When the U-Boxes got to my place 2 of them had the locks messed with!! Since I couldn’t prove who did that (since, per U-Haul representative uses a 3rd party to actually ship the boxes to an out of state location) I knew there was nothing I could really do. But since I have looked through them and found that roughly 20 of my boxes are missing (stolen). Then ONLY reason I am giving U-Haul 1 star is that I was reimbursed for them not keeping their “promise” to deliver all the U-Boxes on time, they also paid for the delivery of all 3 U-Boxes and the movers to unload them into my new place.
James Hwe were given a Ubox that was supposed to be discontinued with a smaller dimension than what we expected. Customer service was hard to reach and there was miscommunication among the employees.

logan cSomehow you guys are still charging me for a U-Box that was never mine at the 1515 Gallatin Pike N location. I had 2 U-boxes delivered to UTAH and I have since removed all of my items. I only needed storage for my move across country but for some reason Gallatin location thinks I have another UBOX. they failed to put the correct U-BOX number on my account. I'm still being charged for no reason!
