WILLIAM RUhaul made the process so smooth- delivered pods in a timely manner, and they arrived to our destination before we did and they were able to store them until our home was ready for move-in. They delivered to our new home and picked up the next day- all on time! The staff we did interact with were very helpful & friendly. We will be recommending Uhaul UBox’s to everyone we know!

Pat OWe scheduled for access to our ubox container for Sunday 9-11 not knowing that this location is closed on sundays. We had to rent a truck ahead of time from a different location to remove our belongings from the ubox. When we arrived luckily there was someone working there just dropping things off and she was able to help us but had she not been there at the exact time we got there we would have wasted our time and money. The lack of communication between the locations and the corporate place where I had to reserve our ubox from is very unprofessional.

Lisa LThis whole experience was annoying. They scheduled my first delivery on a day they were closed. On the next delivery day, they didn't know it was happening even though I scheduled it 20 days in advance. A lot of my stuff arrived broken. For the amount of money, it cost it was a big headache.

Josiah GThe drop off went perfectly, the driver was very friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend her. The U-box pick up was a nightmare. A driver from Plano had to pick up due to someone calling in, she was obviously exhausted, repeatedly stated how we were out of her area and loaded, unloaded and reloaded boxes repeatedly. She would repeat the same mistakes over and over, not learning or attempting a different method. We had to be way more involved and hands on than we should have, and did not feel safe around her with our Uboxes on a forklift. I am happy to discuss in more detail if needed.

Demetric WOnly bad thing was one of the metal “locks” and door did not line up well and it took 3 people to get that one door lined up so we could close the box. Shout out to Sam the delivery driver at this location. She was awesome, always communicated clearly and answered any questions we had at drop off and pick up.

Antique cedar chest was stood on its side and something knocked one of the legs off and broke handle off. It was wrapped securely but still got broken. I suspect it was dropped . I received too many texts from Uhaul which was rather annoying.

Renee KMy experience was shotty, the boxes were dropped off for loading on time. The day my U-Boxes were getting picked up after loading they were late picking them up by 8 hours. While trying to retrieve my U-boxes I was told the soonest I could receive them by truck delivery was 14 days from the requested date so I had to franticly barrow a truck to retrieve them myself. After putting in the initial request for a pick up my information regarding the vehicle I was bringing and the date I was to pick them up was not saved so I needed to repeat the process over again. The day of the pickup I was told someone would reach out to me in the morning to schedule a time for pickup. At 9am on the day of pickup nobody had reached out, while on the phone with customer service they informed me that my pickup time had been set from 12am-6am. It was rescheduled to 12pm that day. Upon arrival at the storage facility neither of my boxes were ready and weren't ready for another 45 minutes, I do understand that they seemed understaffed as there was only 2 people working at the warehouse, but there were not many customers there when I arrived. My expectation was that I needed to be there by noon and my boxes would be ready for pickup, especially since my original pickup time had been scheduled from 12am-6am My original plan since I had already paid my rent for November was keep the U-Boxes to take my time moving in since my wife is pregnant and its primarily me unloading our things, I received pushback from the Wearhouse manager when I told him this. He originally wanted me to take one box with the trailer, drop it off later that day/Sunday morning, and pick up the other box on Monday which was not possible due to work hours. He did end up letting me take both boxes on separate trailers which was nice but I still felt like I was being rushed to return the equipment. I also dislike that there is no Pro-rated returns of funds for rent when not keeping them the full month. I paid the whole month of Novembers rent only to have my U-Boxes for 6 days. The whole experience receiving my U-boxes was a hassle and I would not likely consider using the services again.

LIESL AWe could of used one more container. lucky for us we did not take our old couches and washer machine and dryer. All and all we had a great experience. Our items arrived a week earlier then expected. and arrived on time at our new address. So thank you to the crew that made this part of the move painless and smooth!
Tim WBy far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a business. I was told my transport would be 5000 it is over 7. I was charged for the delivery 3 times. The delivery driver was the only pleasant person that I spoke to on both ends. My boxes did not arrive and I was never called they day they were supposed to deliver. I spent 4 hours calling around and listening to everyone pointing the finger at someone else. After being told the the truck roke down I found out later that they just didn't have the staff to make the delivery. I took the day off and hired movers, we literally sat around all day costing me over $1500. All and all I will most likely never use your services again and I will let anyone that will listen know that they shouldn't either.

Leslie KPhone response times are too long. Once we get through it was good. Also at the destination since they did not have capacity the boxes were held farther away from us. They should have at least notified us about it. Rest was all good.

lori cWhen we packed our uboxes in Florida and stored them in Fort Worth for 19 months. When ready delivery to our new home was free . We got charged $130. But first uhaul wouldn't deliver and we had to pick them up. After 50 minutes on the phone we agreed to the charge. Then when the uboxes were empty. Call and they will be picked up the next day. That took a week. After all of that our stuff arrived in very good condition except for 2 broken items.
Gary FUhaul needs to figure out how to handle this location. You cannot get in contact with anyone at this facility. The minimal employees who do work at this location do not pride themselves in customer service.

Alberto MYou have so many hidden fees and charges, that the cost of a UBox seems cheap, but after you add, box delivery at both ends, charges for putting it on, and taking it off the truck, charges for storage because UHall woun't let my daughter set a delivery date,... Your system has been designed to "catch" people with the extra fees. How about just being honest with people, so they could make up their minds, aware of ALL you fees and the likely chance that they will be incurred? You'd have a reputation as an HONEST vendor, not something like a Used Car Salesman...

Elizabeth DThe employee assisting me was friendly but incompetent. He did not know the Uhaul booking system well and would not request assistance from another Uhaul tech employee. The booking process in store took over 2 hours! Everything else with my Uhaul UBox rental went extremely well and efficient. It was a great way to move cross country. The delivery on the other end was fantastic! I particularly was impressed by the driver, Savannah and her forklift driving ability on a busy street.
Maite AUbox pick up was 2-3 days late so my Ubox delivery got pushed back to a later date. Dealing with the satellite offices and Uhaul as a company has been a nightmare. Delivery drivers that I interacted with however were fantastic.
Natalie WThe online U-Box estimator is woefully inaccurate for larger moves. A move using U-Boxes may be beneficial for moving apartments or small homes, but for full size homes it seems to be inefficient and impractical. Move helpers report that there are long delays in picking up boxes for delivery to the new location. The fact that there is no support for reporting/resolving moving help issues leaves the customer at the mercy of movers with little control.

JOHN JThis review is about Ubox container delivery and not really any specific location. I spoke to Uhaul, Ubox customer support, and moving help.com the Monday before my Saturday delivery and every person told me I could have it scheduled for delivery a day earlier for that Friday. Every person I spoke to did not bring up any issues with scheduling for Friday and the last thing I was told is to contact my movers to schedule with them. Then Friday arrives and my movers that were booked and scheduled through Uhaul are told they can not pick up my containers bc they can not be released since they are scheduled for Saturday. I contact Uhaul and the first person says “there must be something that can be done we will figure this out” then transfers me to someone with Ubox support and that is when every person I speak to tells me nothing can be done and basically it’s my fault my problem bc it was scheduled for Saturday and NO NOTES of my phone conversations on Monday are in my account. Basically my phone conversations do not exist in the Uhaul realm of things. To make it worse the moving help told me that this is something that happens frequently and he has heard this story before. Fortunately the movers were understanding but it is absolutely ridiculous that I drove to another state and got in a day earlier bc I was told my containers could be delivered on Friday and then slept on the floor bc I had my 66 year old mother with me and I was not going to make her sleep on the floor. (Fortunately I purchased a twin mattress for a daybed that did arrive as scheduled). THEN the day of the move each container was released one at a time making it the longest unload of any move in my life. Not one person offered a solution or attempted to resolve this issue. Not one person expressed any form of apologies and not one person offered anything that looked like a form of customer service. Uhaul should not be making these types of mistakes especially on a long haul move and should be offering some form of reimbursement bc a discount on future services is meaningless and basically a slap in the face.

Jenae SThe overall experience was ruined by the fact that I had a dining room table damaged in transit and the Safestor policy that I purchased with move refused to pay for the repairs. The Safestor insurance is worthless. Exclusion E. “Against Loss or damage caused by improper packing, normal shifting in transit or while being moved, or intentional acts.” So in general the moving insurance does not cover anything that has moved. Recommendation: go ahead and use U-Box at your own risk.
James FIt would be great if the website was upgraded to actually work for entire process and speed/servers updated to handle processing throughout the day. Additionally, order #, contract #, and all other methods to track order be connected and available to user. Tracking of my 2 U-Boxes was wrong from beginning and showed them in incorrect city. The website said I could update delivery address but that was not possible. An email to contact U-Haul regarding delivery was never responded to by customer service.

randa mBox was picked up by moving help Phil Harris. He was awful and I left a review on moving help. He did not check for blankets and there were none so he used two $100 sets of sheets to line the floor. Both were completely ruined. The box was broken and the latches would not stay patched. The only thing that kept it “closed” was my lock. There was a 2 inch gap in the door so small items fell out of the box along the journey. Mostly hardware for my table and bed frame. Also all my items were covered in road grime that got into the box.
