Great experience with using U-box. Second time I used. Both experiences were great. This is the best way to go if you are moving to another state. Communication is great and if you need to change pick up or delivery dates, it very easy. Just a phone call away. Thank you Uhaul for providing this service.

The actual uboxes were in extremely poor condition. They were missing exterior spars and I had to reinforce them myself. These boxes should not be rented in their present condition.

We used two U-Haul containers for storage during a kitchen remodel project. This really worked out perfectly for us. Both drivers were very skilled in positioning the boxes exactly where they made pack and unpacking efficient and easy. The drivers were very friendly and were always on time. We always received both written notices and calls prior to pickup and delivery. We have already recommended this approach to neighbors. THANK YOU U-HAUL !

My best experience with uhaul. Prices were pretty clear cut with no 'hidden' charges like is usually common with you guys. The staff at the Hayward location are super chill and total pros too. Really appreciate their help!! I didn't need or open the furniture pads.

The U-Box was original a storage container of Door-to-Door Storage that I rented a long time ago, so some of the categories above don't really apply. Nevertheless, all of my goods in the U-Box were in excellent condition after many years of storage.

My pod was over two hours late to arrive- I had pre paid movers who had to leave - every time I called for an update I was told a different arrival time. I paid for three separate movers as in had to keep canceling and rescheduling. Very stressful

1. There seemed to be a lack of coordination between the franchises in California and Oregon and we were quoted three different prices. 2. The delivery person in Oregon, Nancy, was extremely good. She was prompt and was willing to wait 15 minutes for us to unload the container so that an additional trip was not necessary. She was also extremely friendly.

The staff were excellent, especially the person who helped us. Everyone was accommodating. However when I opened my box, three items were missing. My daughter's stroller, big Vase and a todler's recliner.

Staff are always helpful. I think the only recommendation is to listen to customers on how many moving blankets are needed. I stated 6 and they brought 24. I sent that back right at delivery, but it was a hassle for the driver.

The boxes were great and everyone we talked to was truly so nice. I appreciated everything about the experience, but I wish we were given an arrival window instead of a "guaranteed arrival date." Our belongings came late, which wasn't the end of the world, but we were sort of camping in an empty apartment for 5 days. If we were given a window of time, we would've planned accordingly. We also weren't told they'd be late until the last minute. That was just an overall bummer. The u-boxes were more affordable than other options, but still super expensive and definitely more than we could really afford. It just would've been nice for our things to get there on time - especially since they were in U-Haul's care for 3 whole weeks. Shoutout to Lula in Berkeley (who delivered our empty boxes and picked them up the next day) - she was so awesome, timely, communicative, friendly, and efficient!

I was billed for an additional month twice in October and not refunded after returning the UBox container on September 27. I was billed in October 15, refunded on October 17, and re-billed on October 18. I have tried to resolve this through calling and emailing

Consistency in communication is the key. Reach out through phone call and/or text messages. Arrive at the promised time. All these matter. I found uhaul trustworthy through this experience and I will consider ubox next time.

The office was closed during scheduled business hours. When calling the number posted, the woman was rude and not helpful. Juan, who runs the warehouse and operates a forklift, provided excellent customer service. He personally completed the scheduling each time I needed access and closed out my rental. He was friendly and pleasant to deal with each time I was on site. I appreciate the support he provided.

please make sure to go to the correct UHUAL container location. my uhaul box is in haywood but the crew went to SF instead. apparently, there is a miscommunication between UHAUL and mover which delay my delivery for 1 day.

Everything was good except for one major thing. They neglected to tell me that my U-Box was bolted shut. I found out when I got to my destination. I had to scramble to did tools as I had none with me. This cause me some delay in my move

I did a self pickup for two boxes on a trailer. I really wish I knew the staff member's name because he was incredible. From helping to get the trailer hooked up, directions on how to use the ramps, helping remove the trailer once I had finished moving, and updating my account. He made the entire experience fantastic.

The day before my scheduled pickup the staff called to change the pickup time from 5 pm to 7 am. The woman lied and said that my wife told her this would be okay. She was very rude and unprofessional.

This is NOT a negative review of the personnel at Hayward facility. They were overly busy and under-staffed. Phone calls transferred to nat'l call center gave me incorrect information.
