The Moving Help crew size was underestimated on both ends. Also Uhaul should’ve warned us about scheduling Moving Help on the same day as Ubox delivery. And we were supposed to get 30 days free storage but got none.

Too many pads actually, was a bit annoying because we had to include 16 packs of pads along with our stuff, it barely fit. U haul shipped my 4 boxes to Oregon and they were not supposed to. I had made it clear I need them to stay in Arizona for a month and a half; they shipped them to Oregon immediately. They were not good about keeping me in the loop about what was going on with my boxes. Was told I would be called back but never was, I always had to call and check up on the location of the boxes. I will say the staff was always very nice but the whole ordeal makes me seriously doubt using U-Haul in the future. I will say the lady that dropped our boxes off to our new home, Christine, was amazing and really improved my entire experience. She went out of her way to improve our experience and she deserves recognition for that.

We didn't visit the Tempe location (box was delivered to us), so first question is irrelevant. Survey wouldn't let me submit n/a for the number of containers questions so that question's answer isn't accurate. I guess my suggestion would be to better test and improve your surveys!

I hired movers to pick up my container. They were given the incorrect box. Then when they went back and retrieved the correct box. They weren't informed that Uhaul had screwed the box shut. I had multiple items broken. Including my entertainment center.

The quote was wrong and Uhaul forced me to pay an additional $110 to get my stuff. The "accommodation" they offered - to come pick up the pod myself - was obviously worthless. I was extremely dissatisfied with this improper adding of fees. In addition, the pod was picked up in Los Angeles, two days late without explanation. Overall, a very frustrating experience and the hidden costs changed the economics. I would probably tell people to find another way.

Was quite upset and took much of my time to make multiple calls with waiting on hold and speaking with various people. Well before delivery date I set up time. I wanted to have movers come to unload the same day, 11/29/23. Your agent said would be in the morning she thought, so just tell movers to come in afternoon. I said, when in the morning, lady said you should be one of first ones on route, but can not confirm time until the day before, you will get a call from uhaul the day before. I said will need to know for sure you are coming that day, as can't set up movers on a "should." She said, oh movers know how to work with us so should not be a problem. I said, can't risk that so will schedule movers the next day. Come the afternoon of the 28th (day before uhaul is to drop off), I still have not heard from uhaul. I call and told, they sill call you before 6, everything is on schedule. Come 6, still have not heard so call uhaul and get passed around alot and finally get a lady in Scottsdale office and when I say who I am and why calling, she says, "I heard of your situation." Ouch, I said that does sound good and what is going on. She said the Tempe office can't fit you in their schedule and they have asked Scottsdale to help and Scottsdale is seeing IF they can fit you in sometime late afternoon on the 29th. This is very upsetting as made plans for afternoon of the 29th and important that come in the morning, to speaking of the uncertainty of being told, IF they can fit you in. I express my displeasure and lady said would refer to managers to figure something out. The next morning have not heard so called and was told uhaul would be there in the morning and they were. So bottom line things worked out but I was not at all happy about stress and time spent to make sure things were done correctly, especially in that had set time well in advance of drop off date

It was so easy they brought the boxes, I had a moving coming pack the uboxes they were done in hour they brought them back to you. I had a couple of days before they shipped out was able to bring some more things to the Uboxes and they shipped them out the next day to TX from AZ they arrived in 2 days earlier than they were supposed to get their. Easy peasy.

U-Haul Ubox is the best option for moving college students. We moved everything in to the box at the end of the year and they took it away to air conditioned storage and dropped it off on the next year’s move in day.

Dealt with this location twice and Alfonso made it so smooth & easy. If every uhaul location had an Alfonso uhaul would be amazing. This location by far is the best one thanks to him. Yall need to train your other employees to be like him!

Improvement is needed with communication. I had such a mix up from Az to Pa.too much to elaborate. No one was on the same base. They didn’t know if they were coming or going! I would recommend going to a nearby u-haul dealership and stay with them throughout your move ( keep in contact with them over the phone) . Do not call the 800 number or use their u-haul web site.

Tara and her helper are exceptional employees. Very kind , sweet and attentive to my issues that I had where another employee of yours delivered an empty box inside of a full box . Made no sense . However , Tara cleared it up . She truly knows her stuff. Ask her what happened with the empty box delivery ??? It made no sense at the time. Too much for me to explain. The Tara team is great !! Please treat those two well.

With uhaul the experience was good. I do feel uboxes are not built for moving homes. Smaller apartments maybe. I used the 1.5 rooms per ubox and it would have to be a small room. I did package moving help with my Uboxes and that experience was terrible. The moving crew brought uboxes in 1 at a time. Take 10 minutes to fill a box and then 1.5 hours of downtime while they took 1 u box away and retrieved another.

My Ubox arrived 5 days late because of an error on Uhaul’s end. You need a better tracking system so employees have insight into when Uboxes are shipping and expected to arrive at the new location. It was extremely frustrating to have my Ubox be late and have no one able to tell me when it will arrive.

The Scottsdale team were great except that U-Haul I rented was too small and not able to fit all my belongings. I asked U-Haul before making the reservation and they recommended a small size. I wish they recommended a larger size. The Miami team was horrible, the U-Box was delivered ny a lady that was rude and not willing to help and find solutions. I had to arrange and pay the parking garage next to my building to let her park her truck. On top of that, she placed the U-Haul box in a place that was not appropriate and because of that U-Haul had to come twice and actually send a special team to pick up the U-Box. Overall very bad experience with the Miami team.
