The rental process was easy and the truck was clean. No complaints there. However, I had an interaction with an employee still has me feeling odd. He asked how many miles I’d be driving the vehicle, I answered, to which he responded “are you positive?” And I said “yes?” And he responded “but are you HIV positive?”. I don’t even remember my response but it was shocking and extremely inappropriate, especially coming from a man clearly older than me (a female, by myself). The actual renting process was fine and the customer service aside from that comment was fine too.

Have my Dollie’s on hand because I ordered 2 dollys and furnature dolly and I guy only had 1furnature dolly at my arrival but I got reimburse for it so that was okay

when we went to check the vehicle out, the person that checked us out was pretty kind. The person that checked our vehicle back in had a bad attitude and was not kind at all. A customer should not have to put up with something like that.

One particular employee G. who was there at pick up refused to even attempt to help me when the authorized driver I’d added when I reserved didn’t appear on the printed contract. She flat out refused and only sat eating fast food and watching her phone while I frantically attempted to get a chat representative to resolve. Eventually the chat employee got it fixed and another on-site employee came and tried to resolve, and my return check-in person was great, but the impression was given by the surly first person and unfortunately having someone on staff like that ruins the experience with the whole location.

Great experience. Even with customers coming and going Lamichael T multitasked and not only helped us get our trailer hooked up to truck but kept a steady stream of customers satisfied!! You should be grateful to have this employee.

15' truck, pulled out ramp and it was filled with broken glass. Lost time loading because I had to clean it all up first. Rented plastic tubs, they were never available, had someone call and ask if I was picking them up, but they still didn't have them. Makes no sense.

Let them know to go to another location. The store GM was extremely rude and condescending. An employee I picked the vehicle up from asked if I still needed furniture pads. I told her no, but she insisted they would refund them if I brought them back unused (unopened) so I left them in the van. When I returned the vehicle, the manager was at the counter and absolutely refused. He was extremely rude about it. His lack of respect and proper training of his employees is not my responsibility, and he shouldn’t talk to customers the way he did.

The staff was very helpful and kind but I do feel like online price and charged price had a significant difference. I think the online price should include the estimated fees so the customer is not shocked when the bill comes. Also, I bought boxes with cash and the price in bold above the boxes did not match the price charged. I found out later it was because I had to buy a certain amount of boxes to get the advertised price. Other than these things, the service was great.

I reserved a 20-ft truck but was given a 26-ft truck, which was way more than I needed so everything we loaded up ended up sliding around, which resulted in broken glass from my pictures. I reserved it for a one-way trip but when I got to the store I was told they didn't have any available for a one-way trip plus, apparently, it costs 3 times more to do that. I reserved a furniture dolly, a utility dolly, and mattress pads, but the only one they had available was a furniture dolly. As a result, we had to load boxes one at a time, which took 3 times as long. Since we didn't have mattress pads to wrap around my pictures, the glass in all of them broke when they ended up sliding around our too big truck. All in all, this experience made what is already a stressful event 10 times worse. I will never use Uhaul again.

Kind, helpful staff got me in and out in no time. It helps that no one else happened to be there at the time, but still. Reserved it online and picked it up in person. No hidden fees or bogus claims. Couldn't have gone better for what we needed. Thank you!

Disappointed in Uhaul. The engine light was on but was told it was a sensor and it would be okay. Loaded truck before the big rain and when we went to unload the next day the truck had leaked and wet all my mattresses. No apologies or offer of a cost adjustment. 😢

The handle on the door had some water in it. Also the rear outer tire on the passenger side went flat, but I was able to air it up and it just had a slow leak. The customer service was amazing

This was the third location I was sent to in order to pick the trailer up. The first location did not have the trailer despite calling me ahead of time to pick it up there, and the second location was locked over half an hour after their end to their lunch break and wouldn’t answer calls from the U-Haul main office. Make every location like the third location and it would be a smooth, easy process.

The vehicle had no brakes, lost a day and had to pay employees to go home.. lost half the next day switching trucks. Customer was furious with us and fired us..

The equipment was mostly maintained. One of the tire stops had a dent, and one of the tire straps showed a bit of a cut. However, the integrity of the strap was still sound.

Attempted to give me a truck with a crack windshield and check engine light one. I had to wait over 3 hours to get a truck swapped out. They made me late for my movers which delayed me for everything else I had to do!

My worst experience ever . It took multiple people to take of what I would think to be an everyday transaction . The manager should not be working there ! You should replace the whole staff !! They were even working on a car in the garage that I assume is for U-haul repair . Oh well I guess that's how this location runs ! I'll never ever go back ... While I was there even other customers were rolling there eyes . I know nothing will happen out of this and my time.....

Trucks are old and I have a lot of wear on them a lot of scratches a lot of dents The motors need maintenance on them a lot of them and tires are warned things of this nature worn

They lied about the gas not being put back where it was when I received it Charged me extra. I always take pictures. THATS NOT OKAY but I talked to customer service emailed my proof and is getting that refunded. Please customers always take pictures for your own safety because they will play with your money and your time

There was no vehicle inspection and no explanation when dropping off the equipment of what was next to occur in the process. Further, the gas tank was 7/8 full, so refueling would've been a burden.

Well first the lady told me I was at the wrong place kept saying I wasn’t in the system and in the wrong place I had to call the main store . Then all of a sudden I was there. And then the truck broke down and the battery needed replaced so had to extend my usage and don’t feel it was fair I was charged for the extention when the truck itself caused the delay . Didn’t find it fair.

Staff at this location were great; helpful and professional. They went above and beyond. Store was clean and they had plenty of equipment available. They answered all my questions and if they didn’t have the answer they found out. I would absolutely not say the same about Tiffany from traffic , who is over this location. She is unprofessional and tries to use intimidation to accomplish her goals. However, she does not reflect the employees at this specific location.

The agents at the location were great. The charges were ridiculous, the vehicle was dirty, had random pills spilled on the floor in the cab, dust and dirt all over, and I was charged significantly more than was made clear to me. I had to keep the vehicle extra days due to an injury while sorting through my storage units which had been robbed and many things ruined. I have health issues which require me to not push it, and I was beyond disappointed how a multimillion dollar corporation treated an honest, genuine American who is going through such horrible things which were neither caused by myself nor your company. It was beyond disappointing to be talked to like I'm stupid and treated like I'm nefarious. I am a teacher, coach, community servant with a master's degree trying to recover after nearly dying last summer. I have health restraints and acquired an injury at the site that was broken into, and while the local agents tried to be kind and good representatives, the corporate side disgusted me. I have always used uhaul to move in my 23 years of independent living, but I honestly will recommend any other company as well as using any other company from here on out. I wish I had a better company to employ your stellar on- site employees at 39th st in okc.

Didn't have one issue from start to finish. Everyone that worked there was friendly and helpful. I didn't get the woman's name but she was nice. The man that helped Josh the manager was very kind and accommodating. I've done business with them twice now and have recommended a friend last month that used them as well, both of us are happy movers!
