CHRISTOPHER SI originally was picking up at Personal Mini Storage on Dyer Blvd in Kissimmee. I had called and left two messages for the manager but never got a call back. I elected to purchase boxes from the U-Haul facility at Gatorland. Because the manager at Gatorland and how knowledgeable she was and friendly I moved my truck reservation from Personal Mini Storage to the Gatorland location.

I place my reservation again for the storage and the truck for the next moving and they change the pick up 1 hour away for my storage when I supposed to have in the first time. I paid extra hours to the workers, my gas, the tolls and my time to pick up the truck. The manager was mean and helpless.

We realized that neither of us had a cell phone on us as we rushed out of the house. Needless to say, there is no emergency call button on the intercom. I had to jump the fence and walk miles to a relatives house to call the manager who gave us a call to get out. There should be a way for people to get out of the storage after hours or a call button . While it was our fault for being there after hours, UHAUL shouldn’t hold people hostage

As some others companies offered me the same first month free of charge (zero cost) I decide to go ahead with U-haul, I registered myself and started my moving into the storage. Close to the end (after 2-3h) the lady went in front of my storage (314) and told me that the first month is no longer free, that was her mistake and that her boss was on vacation so nothing to do. Considering that I was close to the end and had put almost my former house into the storage i decided to keep in Uhaul as I was exhausted moving for more than 7 h in that day. My question is: how a serious company can tell you that the first month is free and after few hours it changed its mind? As I intend to keep my stuffs for a long time, I will move from U-Haul to another storage as soon as I have free time as for me this kind of situation is not acceptable. The manager is totally amazing, she is fully committed to serving her customers and the vehicles and storage units are well kept. We highly recommend this Uhaul location for truck rentals or storage needs!

She was also very accommodating to all my needs and a very polite Christian Manner. She and her staff were very helpful checking in our long distance move truck acquiring suitable storage for our property, acquiring unloaders and loaders/movers for our local move from the storage unit to our newly rented home site. If I needed Storage again Gatorland would be first consideration if location is no issue.
