When i turn my rental van back in to this location, I notice that for an empty lot this location is over staffed (4 male employees outside on lot (two of them just standing around board, other two seem to at least working), and then two female employees inside. When I received the keys to my rental van and conducted the inspection of my rental van i noted the outside of my rental van hasn't been washed as i noted that some type of purple or bluish residue was smear on the front hood. This location has enough employees on staff today that they can be washing rentals as they come in since this location is slow. This is a clear reflection of miss management of employees. There are plenty of staff and businesses is slow to where these staff members and can set up the vehicle wash station and wash every rental vehicle after its been check in, and inside of rental been clean out. However, this location being corporate own, ( not a Franchised facility) continues to show they lack the Uhaul standard of cleaning the exterior and interior of the rentals when they are returned. This location has numerous complaints on this issue of cleanliness that have been either verbally from customers to the employees at this location or have put in comments like this one. Yet nothing on this issue has changed at this location except the hard working employees that dont stay inside all day on a chair. This location should be taken more pride in their work representing the Uhaul values so that customers would want to continue to come back.

MICHAEL SI have always had excellent service there at the Kitsap Way U-Haul. I have used them numerous times through the years and have never had any issues.
Lee MGot a text about 15 minutes before my pick up time saying the truck i requested wasn't back yet and they are fully booked. Tried reaching out to the store and was told they weren't sure why I recieved that message but would look into it and call me back. 30 linutes later still had not geard anything so called again and was told they still don't have an answer for me and to just drive to the uhaul site and see if it was a miscommunication. Got to the site and was told by the employee that the truck i reserved wasn't available and there was nothing else available to suit my needs at that time. The next available truck would not be until 5:45pm.

ANDREA BPick up was good. Staff were helpful and made sure I had everything I needed before leaving. Return experience sucked . Staff was so busy looking at their phone they could not be bothered to assist me. They finally looked up l, told me the app was wrong about drop off instructions and had me move the truck to a different spot. Lazy, unhelpful, definitely not a good look.
Michelle SOil change and tire pressure sensor warnings on dash. Waited at drop off with sign that stated wait with your vehicle. Was looked at twice and ignored for over 10 minutes. Had to go in to return vehicle.
JOHN CMy only complaint is the manner in which the vehicle is checked out. I would much rather have one of the employees come with me to the vehicle to ensure any issues are addressed immediately and subsequently recorded. It is exceptionally difficult for one who is not tech savvy enough to take photos and transfer the information to the appropriate recipient. Kinda aggravating in many ways.

COREY KWhen we got home and opened the trailer to load it there was boxes and trash inside...I'm assuming from the people that had it before us....so check the trailer for contents before sending out again. However the gentleman that helped us was fantastic! Above and beyond customer service and took the time to explain the hook up and how to drive with a trailer since I had never done so before.

Lisa LThe personnel and location was great. The trailer only had tie down boards / areas on the left side and front. On the right side back only a tie off in the floor . This made it difficult to tie off the load. Also the appliance dolly was very old and the wheels were not free rolling. It seemed the bearings were worn out. When I had the small / medium upright freezer on the dolly it was a challenge to get it going by pushing it when it was in smooth flat ground. It shouldn’t be difficult to move.
JOEL SThe windshield and headlights were absolutely caked with dead bugs. We had to stop at a gas station just to clean the everything off the front before we went too far. Otherwise, the team was professional and pleasant to work with. They were very helpful on explaining the towing apparatus to us.
BARBARA BPick-up at this location was fine; the truck was clean and ready to go. The truck itself was also in good condition. However, I would not recommend this location due to the drop-off process. When I arrived, a staff member working outside waved me down and told me to "just leave the keys on the seat." She was helpful and reminded me to check for my belongings, which I appreciated. I did as she said, and within the hour, I was charged a $19.99 fee. It wasn't until I rented another U-Haul the following week and used the after-hours app drop-off feature that I learned this charge was avoidable. The app clearly stated that a $19.99 fee would be applied if I didn't complete the drop-off steps myself. My issue isn't with the charge itself, but with the lack of transparency. If I had known there was a fee for staff to complete the drop-off, I would have gladly done it myself. I would have appreciated the employee being upfront about the charge instead of just telling me to leave the keys.
AZARIAS EI don't have a suggestion for improvement, just wanted to say your service helped me and a friend out of a jam. The store was busy on a Sunday morning as soon as it opened but they worked through the line and got everyone on their way.
CURTIS HI recently rented a moving truck from U-Haul for a 1,600-mile long-distance move. The truck they provided was unsafe, exposing me, my passenger, and a family pet to hazardous conditions in the cabin. The tire pressure warning light came on multiple times, forcing us to make unnecessary stops that wasted both time and fuel. Water also leaked into the cargo area, nearly destroying valuable electronics. I attempted to resolve these issues with U-Haul corporate. After initially offering a “gesture of goodwill” — a $50 compensation for the inconvenience — they went silent. Sorry, but $50 doesn’t cut it when you’ve put people, pets, and property at risk. My advice: don't bother going through U-Haul’s complaint process. They don’t care. Instead, take photos, document everything, and consult an attorney. Then sue them.

JEFFREY SNot give people trucks with no gas (below empty mark)and say go to the gas station. Not overcharge people and say you can't do anything about it. Not think its a good business choice to charge a weekly, multiple day customer for gas being about 1 1/2 gallons short.all of these are multiple different experiences. Today's was the last straw.

RANDY HI rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer that did not have any sort of stand on the coupler/tongue. I think that trailers should either be retrofitted to include a stand or wheel chocks should be included with the trailer. Since it didn't have a stand or chocks I had to leave it connected to my truck so it wouldn't roll which made it pretty inconvenient to load in my apartment parking lot. Other than that I had a quick experience. The woman who helped me at the desk was very friendly, and the man outside got me hooked up no problem. I used to have a storage unit with this location, and this is the second time I have picked up or dropped off a trailer at this location. I have had nothing but good experiences and would definitely recommend this location to anybody who asked me.

JEFFREY SThe drop off was good and the agent was very helpful. The UHaul APP, though, gets ZERO stars for being completely broken. It took me a half hour to navigate what should have been a simple reservation including all the upsell attempts. In the end, it made a reservation for the WRONG vehicle, at the WRONG location, despite telling me that I had what I wanted. The APP couldn't even map out the pick up location! Absolutely worse than useless.
BRUCE KI will not being getting anymore uhauls you have lost me as a customer my reserved storage unit was given to someone else and I was forced to drive another 30 minutes to get to a new storage unit I was then charged for all of the extra miles I had to drive resulting from this incident and not compensated this is extremely in professional and ridiculous I will be posting this problem on social media as well as Facebook and leaving a 1 star review at Lynwood uhaul and storage

An hour into the appointment when I had already traveled away, they called and told me to reschedule, and said someone’s car was stuck in bay. A week later (today) I have the appointment. Car gets done and tech leaves and no one told me car was ready. They were closing up and noticed I was still waiting.

JAMES RCommunicate better. I arrived on time for a noon appointment, only to be told someone who arrived a couple minutes before me had priority. I understand an.appointment.to mean that I have priority at the appointment time. In addition, the installer.took lunch before my installation, which eventually started at 1:30. I do not begrudge him lunch, but why schedule me during lunchtime? The hitch seems fine, but the scheduling snafu left a bad taste.

ROBERT OBeckey and the team provide exceptional service. Not just for me but to everyone. The staff wax knowledgeable and Friendly's. Answered all the questions I had. Helped me with several needed during my 3 years of storage rental. For the first day to my move out day. I have been completely taken care ifcand satisfied. My belongings safe secure ub damaged. The facility was always clean and maintained and accessible. The ower worked on site. This is a 10/10!

All of my thing couldn't fit in there so I was offered an additional storage space at no cost The additional storage space was the previous one I'd been assigned that had auction items inside. I noticed immediately after confirming the reservation that I was charged $89.95. I sent an email right then saying this was to be free and to cancel if there is a charge. As of 06/01/21 I have not received a response nor a refund for this amount. The storage unit was not used and is not going to be used, I did not want it if it was not free for the first month as advertised when I made the reservation.

They also called and said the lock (that we bought from their store) was not a valid lock and threatened to cut it. Just overall a bad experience. Thankfully there are laws in place that prevented them from throwing out my stuff.
Erik R | Overall ExperienceI began renting a storage unit at the end of April of this year; and since that time I paid every month by way of automatic debit. On at least one occasion the hinges of my door were tampered with; and I right away alerted the staff. (I was glad I chose the extra insurance in case of theft etc.) Throughout my time there many times I had to walk to the office and request they unlock the door during normal business hours; and found difficulty with my key-card working consistently. This was inconvenient as many times there were long lines and I got tired of waiting. When I was notified that my cost was increasing, and had moved to another location, I made the decision to exit and left the unit in good clean condition for which I have a whitness. After vacating the unit I spoke with the staff; and they retained my key-card; and issued a refund. Subsequently I received a late notice stating that I had not paid. I sent numerous emails and called to resolve the matter. By contract however, the truck rentals over the years has been helpful with easy transitions; and problem free service.

They did not seem to want to help. Lone was moving extremely slow, they had no urgency. Very I’m pleased. Everything was completed and done. Will not go back since they were not helpful not even on the phone when I was trying to set up moving help and storage and truck reservations.
