I got charged a fuel service fee when they imputed the incorrect fuel amount on the receipt good thing I took a picture of the gas before and after use to I will be calling to dispute the charges on my card

You shouldn't call customer phones multiple times to tell them there's a ticket on the vehicle , when it wasn't on my rental, continued to argue with me saying there was even tho it wasn't my rental that had the warning- really irritating to have so many of these calls while at work inside a customers house I'm working on

We reserved a pickup truck and a Auto Transport trailer two weeks in advance. I called two days ahead to confirm that the equipment would be available and was told yes. When we arrived we signed the paperwork and only after that did we find out that a Auto Transport was not available and they wanted to substitute a Toy Hauler. We definitely do not want a Toy Hauler, and if they told us in advance we could have gone to a different location to get what we reserved.

AMAZING group of employees at this location! Knowledgeable, personable, and so helpful!! The trucks are impeccably maintained too. I rented a truck that ended up being too small, so I had to rent a second truck along with a trailer to tow my car. The U-Haul staff loaded my car on the trailer and provided me information on how to safely tow and unload my vehicle. Can’t say enough positive things about this place! Thank you!

Everything was outstanding…help line, local service, local and central customer service coordination/communication, and technology (website and integrated customer support) were as good as it gets. I was very impressed and would highly recommend. When I called customer support they knew who I was and had my rental up and I didn’t need to verify myself multiple times before and after they answered like so many other places. And they seemlessly communicated with the local site. The ordering process was simple and straightforward too. U-Haul exceeded my expectations!

The Oceanside office person was super nice & helpful The reservation (again) was a big problem - I reserved a 15' truck for pickup in Carlsbad... only to be called 2d before my reserved pickup date/time to be told there was no 15' truck and I couldn't pick up in Carlsbad (same reservation problem I had in Jun-2024)

Nice staff…. Horrible truck…. Dirty windshield on the inside was so dirty i couldnt see in the sun. Passenger lock was broken. Truck was making a weird noise. The brakes were not good. The padlock was tough. The door was difficult, closing all the way, and the lights at night were not that bright at all to even see.

Everything was great except I reserved a dolly and was told there would be a dolly in the truck to use and when I got to my house the dolly wasn't in the truck. I then had to go to Ace Hardware to pick up a dolly that your customer service put on hold. It was pretty inconvenient to deal with given the limited amount of time I had to move.

The first truck leaked brake fluid and had to be towed away from my home which was a big inconvenience and wasted time.Second truck’s windshield wiper was broken.

Truck and trailer were very nice to use. The truck towed like a beast. One thing that could of been done better, initially the mileage and fuel level were wrong on the paperwork. I had to go back inside and have it corrected. Overall, good experience.

Truck was reserved at Carlsbad location. This has been done several times by me. This time, I was told the night before pick up that I had to go to Oceanside because there were no drivers to drop it off at the correct location. It impacted the movers we had reserved through U-Haul and required rush-hour traffic driving to get the vehicle. Very disappointing.

Appointment booking online was great. Picking up truck was almost touchless (small interaction w/ counterperson)-then I was directed outside to get truck from lot attendent (without any walkaround for damage or asking if I had any questions from anyone). When I dropped truck off the next day again almost touchless ( just took the keys and said my receipt would me e-mailed to me- again w/ no vehicle inspection check in). I had sticker shock when $19.95 truck rate became $89.00 ( but it had to do w/ the 130 miles I drove, and a different way to save me a few dollars. Overall very good experience-but next time will shop rates w/ competitors (pickup truck) before deciding where to take my business

While the rates looked great initially, they were more than doubled with fees, miles and insurance. Maybe a 2nd quote when one asks about rentals with a closer, more accurate quote would be helpful….I would have appreciated that and still would have rented from you…. but if the rates change that much, feel you should let people know this up front.

Well it's clean but maintained is another issue. The customer restroom has been out of order for weeks according to the sign. Where my storage locker is close to the restroom there is a fowl oder of urine and it's very umplesent to be around. A plumbing issue sould be delt with in a timely manner. Access, I store tools there so sometimes I Need to access early if I have a job prior to 5am. I hope this email helps serve u and can help get at least the bathroom issue resolved. If someone is moving alot of things in it is very inconvenient that they have to leave and find a rest room.

We had a great move in experience. When we went to move out the easy sliding door would not open- we had then to transfer all of our Storage items from one floor to the next floor in order to get out of the building with our items. This was very disappointing. No one was around to assist.

I didn’t like the units. Having to haul my stuff up the ladder added a lot of work and made me not want to go there. I didn’t feel totally safe there, either. There were always a lot of homeless people going in and out. The staff was great. They were very helpful to me when I arrived.

This was the most horrible and disappointing experience I've ever had, por communication, negative attitude, not a care for the customer, Alicia the store manager acted like a now it all, lied to both my wife and I, blamed everything on her staff, company, system etc. she's definitely the cause of poorly controlled environment in this facility, I will never use Uhaul again in the future regardless of, price, convenience, accessibility etc.

I would definitely recommend this location to a friend ------(802 S Coast Hwy, Oceanside, CA 92054) I've used this storage facility twice in the past 3 years and never had a negative experience of any kind. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be back again thank you!

My full month payment was taken for 7days of usage into my billing cycle, with no prorated refund or and solution. In fact, I was denied by the staff when inquiring about it. Seems such a large company would have better business practices.

I had a problem with getting in and out after hours for some odd reason I cleaned up the restroom when I first got there I have barely been here for not even 2 weeks and they're giving me a hassle it seems like they just having a bad day but it's okay maybe we need to work on our customer service remember the customers always right and they should always they're not helping hand no matter what that's my opinion but we need to work on our social skills anyways have a good day exploding heart to the world

The unit was good. The stairs used to access 2nd level units are too long to steer around the corners, you have to drag them around the corners. Also, the 2nd level units had chicken wire as a ceiling which was weird to me. I feel like if someone wanted to, they could’ve fished things out of my unit undetected if they were motivated to do it. When initially purchasing the unit, I was told I couldn’t pre-pay for the 6-ish months that I planned to rent for but upon downloading the U-Haul app it became apparent that I could prepay for the upcoming months.

Yall are the best. I would loose my debit card and forget to update the auto pay and this facility would always give me reminders and normally not charge late fees. I actually forgot to pay for a few months because I was out at sea and they let me pay when I got back. Great customer service and just an over all great experience at oceanside uhaul. The worker Robert needs to be fired. I was given a storage by another worker, which all went smoothly, then I asked to pay the following month as well, and was paying cash. When the worker helping contacted Robert, he came into the store, and showed his true colours. He made me very uncomfortable, and angry! He needs to be fired!!

The manager and employee at this location on the day of my check out were busy with calls and people in front of them and they handled the pressure with ease . They probably did the work of 5 people . Coming from the Hospitality industry they were on point . It was the evening shift the day of my checkout and it was a latina woman and a male manager . The people employees made the difference . This location will be highly recommended because of them .

If you change the location of the truck.. YOU SHOULD CALL. There were no pads and no Dolly'S, even though I ordered them!! And the truck was far from a comfort ride.

Customer service via UHAUL -800-go-uhaul was absolutely atrocious. No one at uhaul takes responsibility of the 'u-box' segment. Many lost hours on the phone. Oceanside store was very helpful.
