WAYNE HEverything was great up until I got a call wanting me to switch drop off locations. I basically had to repeat myself 10+ times while getting increasingly upset. I paid extra to drop it off near my house and the woman on the phone just wasn't listening. She finally said she was going to put me on a 3 way call with her manager, but came back on the phone without the manager and said my drop off in Hoodsport was fine. I was very disappointed in this interaction.

TERESA SBetter attitudes from the pick up and drop off staff that assisted in hooking up and disconnecting the trailer. The guy who hooked it up was condescending to us and didn't hook it up correctly. When we came back to drop it off the guy in the afternoon didn't believe that we hadn't disconnected the trailer, directly because of the way it was hooked up by the morning guy. Then when we tried to explain this, he was dismissive and said "No I doubt it" and made it seem as if we were lying. Not appreciated.
ANASTASIA RThe slide bar to my storage unit is very difficult to slide into place. My sister has a unit in the same building which I have opened up for her. It slides easily. I'll contact facility, but I don't want to have to.

I'm guessing there used to be walls that were removed when you guys took over the space, otherwise, why would there even BE insulation there, haha. Anyway, that was the only thing that made me feel that the space wasn't being well-maintained.

BJORN OThe Uhaul U-boxes worked great for our move from Virginia to Seattle. With a little planning they are easy to pack full. Uhaul delivered them promptly. They removed the U-Boxes exactly when requested. Shipping was estimated at 2 weeks but we received them in 7 days. The delivery drivers on both ends were helpful with placement. The U-Box fit up our 100' long driveway where a truck would not. The PODS competitor did not service my new address and was almost twice the price. I cannot say enough about the Port Townsend Uhaul team. They provided excellent customer service.

Maria LIn my adult life, I have rented from several storage facilities. This one, by far, has been my favorite. One in particular event, I had not fully slid the locking mechanism on my storage unit one evening and it was over 2 weeks before I returned. This facility does a security walkthrough of each building, every day and when units are found to not be secure, a security lock is put on for the safe keeping of our items inside. This was so very much appreciated. I cannot express how thankful I was for the added security measures. The team I worked with each and every time was also amazing. I had interior storage units. It was nice to have a card to ease of access into the facility. If you are on or near Port Townsend, WA, this facility is great for storage and renting trucks!!

KAREN RI wish I could remember the guys name who has been there forever. I would (and have) give him 5 stars all day long. I do have to say my move out experience wasn’t the greatest. I cleared out my unit, walked down to the office to ask for a broom so I could sweep and to let them know I was out. The guy (new) was friendly-ish. When I returned the broom he said he would mark my unit empty. Well 2 days later I saw that Uhaul had taken another payment so I called and was told my unit still showed active. So he (the seasoned employee) corrected it and issued me a refund, which he said would take a few days to show up in my account.

DAVID HThe truck cab was dirty when we picked it up. There was dog hair and dirty dog prints in the cab and the windshield was dirty inside and out. We had to clean it out ourselves before loading it at home. Also not sure about the engine maintenance status - the SES light came on half way through travel to our destination.

Harrison SI wasn't asked which side of the draw bar I wanted the ball on. I didn't notice they put it on the wrong side until I arrived home 40+ miles from the store. Now, I'll have to pay a local mechanic to reverse it. That will be less expensive than the cost of gasoline for a roundtrip to have the store do it for me.

GREGORY G | Overall ExperienceThe way we were treated and talked too by the Spokane manager was so rude and disrespectful. Resulting with damage on both sides of the car. Plus the truck dolly broke three time causing two days delay and having to reschedule our unpacking plans because of the mistakes made by manager and lost time and money paying for motel costs, extra time waiting for road side help. Everything was documented and pictures take along with receipts. The emotional and physical toll has been traumatic. And we will not ever go back to u haul and will warn others about our experience. Melissa L | First ImpressionsThe lack of a bathroom in the storage facility is a drawback. Having only 3 carts parked on the opposite end of the building from my unit was a hassle. Not being able to call directly to the office to ask a simple question and wasting time with a phone bank that had no information was upsetting. I had to drive over to ask my question. Two of the staff have poor communication styles, and not being able to give full and clear instructions meant I repeatedly had to ask for more detailed instructions. Rather than verbal instructions, it would help to have the instructions and procedures on a card that I could reference.

Was given prices for units including 5x10 which is what I thought I might need but wasn't sure. I was not informed at that time that there were no units of that size available and had waiting reservations as well. I was informed of this when I came in to rent a unit. I had already made plans to start my move so I had to rent the larger unit. In their defense though, they were very busy at the time of inquiry. They were extremely friendly and helpful in every other aspect.
