CHANDA BIts in Charlotte and I don't like going to Charlotte. Try to find a location close to where you live. That said , the people were great, knowledgeable, and helped get me on the road. I just don't like going to CHarlotte but they had what I needed to get the job done

ANTWAN CGave me keys to a truck that was blocked in by another truck. Had to go back and forth from the lobby to the truck parking lot like 3 times until another customer moved his rental truck. Had to back the truck out of a tight spot - very irritating. But the guy was cool about taking the truck back and sending a receipt.
Dennis MI was very disappointed that when I arrived the equipment I reserved was not available. I had to go to another location to pick up an auto transporter. I was sent to another location to get the AT the representative assured me that I would get a auto transporter at that new location. 2 hours later I was called and told that there was no AT at that location either. I was referred to another location for a tow dolly which is not what I wanted but had to take because my original reservation was not completed. To make matters worse the location I was told to drop off the equipment in Norfolk Virginia was not open or operating so I had to figure out where to take the equipment.
MICHELLE Srenting the trailer was a nightmare, i had to go through 3 locations to receive an auto transport trailer. I even had the reservation set way early to make sure i could come in a pick it up to leave on time. many hours later i finally left with one at the uptown charlotte location but was crazy late getting to my location because of it.

I was told that some homeless sleep inside the trucks when customers dropped them off they don't lock the trucks. Going forward you should supervise ALL your trucks before renting it to a customer.

ROBERT SI waisted so much time getting a vehicle and then even more time trying to get the 2nd vehicle started, I ended up just bringing truck back. The first truck had engine issues and the 2nd one took too long to get car started every time.
KIMBERLY WThe customer service at this location was excelent. The transaction and equipment pick-up great. However the restroom in the store floor area needed some attention. It was first thing in the morning which means the restroom was not cleaned at the close of the business before.
ANGELA MStaff were friendly and helpful. Truck was in extremely poor condition, however. Engine died whenever the truck was put into reverse and got stuck blocking the entrance/exit to my apt building. Needed to put it in neutral & push it manually.

Michael KIt would have been nice to know that the -UHaul container associates were out for the holiday. This solution was not available to solve my problem, in the moment. Just knowing they were not available for an immediate need might have saved some time. Nevertheless, the associates were friendly, usually showing good judgment, and willing to learn. They didn’t lose the initiative to help and were consistently considerate. For that, I am thankful. At least, one associate knew the information and shared once he realized my need. I am grateful for their help in learning the products and services of U-Haul.

HAROLD SThere were no personnel. It was late but th location was clean and well lit. The only complaint is that the picture on the U-haul app about where to drop off key looked nothing like where the key was actually dropped. It was also not well marked physically on site, for such a large site. But this location was night and day between the one with Griffin.
ELEONORA ZHorrible experience. Rented 3 U-boxes ended up needing 4… moved from NC to CA and U-haul refused to deliver my boxes to address I gave 4 months prior. I had to rent a truck and unpack 4 boxes in parking lot load into truck and drive to my apartment. Absolutely ridiculous. I will NEVER recommend or use any U-Haul service again after being a loyal customer for 15 years.

They didn’t put the key lock on the truck like they said they did, and they didn’t put the dolly we requested in the truck either. We had to wait an hour for them to open so we could go inside and get what we needed to start our move.
CLAIRE EDrop off was excellent. Personnel reminded me to take photos of vehicle, odometer reading, gas indicator and exterior of vehicle. Again, I was unable to upload onto my app account for this reservation.
WILLIAM AWe booked DNG Logistic LLC movers through U-Haul and I’m glad we did. Derek and his team were affordable, on time, fast, and they communicated with us throughout our move. Our items were handled with care and they were very professional. I would definitely recommend them and use them for my future moves. After failed attempts with authorized U-Haul dealers I realized how close by I lived near an actual U-Haul location. My experience was great, they accommodated me to be near the Elevator as I was moving my entire apartment on my own. I’d certainly recommend this location to anyone looking for a truck or a storage unit. There was another gentleman that assisted me with removing the lock off the unit as well unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was also professional & friendly. Thanks to the U-Haul team at this location. Moving is stressful enough and they made it a breeze.

It took over 40mins (when I returned) to get my storage unit because the office staff didn’t know how to work the computer. I spent most of my move at the facility trying to get my truck and storage unit. My experience wasn’t pleasant at all.

I called about an inquiry for my bill, and then after dozens of attempts to reach out to them and never got a response, I then find out that I had two weeks to clear my unit. I no longer live in Charlotte so I had to spend over $600 to book a flight and a U-Haul to get all of my belongings when all of this could’ve been avoided if I had more of a notice. I will never use U-Haul again after this experience.

I submitted my move out request online which I have confirmation of. On site during my move out I explained I was moving out, met with the on-site manager, and even had the movers be introduced. I am unsure what more I needed to do and if there was a missing piece it should have been comminuted by a manager. I do have an email that management switched over which caused the issues but that should not be my issue. You are charging me for a fully vacant unit which is completely unfair and could have been easily mitigated.
