When I arrived they said only a 26 ft truck was available and if I wanted a 20 ft truck I would have to go to Battleford. There was no time to go that far and the larger truck was too big to get into my townhouse complex.

MICHAEL SMy booking was switched from the 11th street location to the 20th street location without my consent. When i arrived at the 20th street location the compound was locked and no kne was there after they claimed to be open. Went to the 11th street location and requested a uhaul. Horrible experience. Be thankful there isn’t a 0 star option

DETLEF BTrailer was not available at pick up time at first Saskatoon on Grey Ave Initial location staff were not able to help told to call uhaul rep. Called uhaul rep for that location they were not helpful. Had to contact another location and drive there to pick up the trailer i had reserved which put my whole day behind Wiring for trailer was not working, had to buy new wiring harness during my move, had to drive without proper lights for half the move was not offered the $50 "reservation guarantee" credit
CURTIS DBend the rules with renting a uhaul van. Allow payment with debit card versus credit card only. Reduce the amount of references required to rent a uhaul to three versus five.people.
MARNI CThe truck was parked far from the door, they gave us no instructions or information as to where to look or go. It was -25 at least. When we got to the truck it was covered in snow, not running and cold. We had to let it warm up for about 20 mins while we removed a lot of snow from it. I believe this was the reason the fuel marker on the paper was way off from what was in hit when we actually drove it. The inside was quite dirty also. Unfortunately, next time we won’t be using this location and I’ve told my family who planned on using it this spring not to also. The check out was long and I still don’t understand why I was charged what I was. But didn’t have the time to figure it out.

ORION RWhen we brought the U-Haul to our home to move furniture we could not open the back overhead door. We called the U-Haul place, they put us on hold for 20 minutes then told us to spray the door with antifreeze. I would expect that the company would make sure the doors were operational before renting it out. Also the inside was dirty and covered in leaves and dirt. We were not pleased with our U-Haul rental experience.
Mabel MAttendant was very observant; the truck that he had ready had a burnt out headlight. He noticed and immediately found a different one.Very friendly and helpful service both at pick up and return.
JANICE HBring the customer to the vehicle, if possible. Make sure they are cared for. In our case, the gas tank reading was wrong and the employee corrected it in the computer but didn’t give us an updated copy. That would be something that could be done for customer satisfaction.
BRENT CI was there first thing in the morning. There was only one person working that day. He was very good at his job. Communicated good and explained everything very well. He was also polite. I am not sure if only having one person open in the morning is standard or not, but it lead to me waiting around for about 7-10 minutes in the store before some one came to the customer area. I do believe 2 people to open would be better as there is likely some store opening tasks that take time away from being able to focus on the customer service area of the store.

LYLE WI drove all the way into Saskatoon with a moving crew to pick up a 6x12 covered trailer that I rented just to find out that they didn’t have one! Forced me to rent an uncovered trailer. we couldn’t stack anything because trailer wasn’t covered. Now forced to drive another 160 kms and do it again! Cost us a lot of extra time, fuel and money. I wouldn’t recommend you guys to anyone! Never even got compensated for anything! I’m making sure every person knows about this so it doesn’t happen to them!

DONALD NThe overall experience was good. I had ordered a bundle of packing blankets with the cargo van rental. The blankets unfortunately never made it into the back of the van and I didn't think of checking before leaving the rental office. Aside from that I was quite happy with the rental. Thank-you "UHaul".
KENNETH LOnly had one person at front desk when I picked up the truck. A bit of a line-up of people but person was excellent and helped everyone as quickly as he could.

Jonathon MMake sure the truck is actually road worthy. There was such a bad vibration it was enough to make a person sick.
Darcy JThis is a very good U-Haul location, it is apparent that they are attentive to maintaining their equipment and they have a good inventory. I like to use the “truck-share” mobile pick up and drop off. Truck and keys are always ready, but sometimes the app is a little buggy trying to add pictures so it takes a bit of patience. But it’s worth it to avoid waiting in line.

SIEW NCustomer service was really good. Only issue I had was the car hauler they had reserved for me had nit been checked out and had .a flat tire. Otherwise 5 star service.
DAVID YInteriors is clean but the interior windshield could benefit some cleaning. Very streaky and foggy. One headlight is busted. Front struts are busted. Otherwise, served us well.
MIKE UThe trailer we rented was in no condition to travel the distance we needed. Halfway through the trip we called roadside assistance twice, 1st time to fix the wiring and the second time to replace BOTH tires... all within 6 hours of each call
JACQUELINE ONothing I can think of. The staff here are top notch the showroom very clean. The equipment is in fabulous shape with great features like counter balanced rear ramps the decline slowly and not with a thud, eliminating injury from a heavy ramp. This is my third time renting the same size trailer for tree removal to compost yard.
BRIAN FReserved and paid for utility dolly, but did not receive one. This made our move very strenuous. I suggest letting the customer know there are no dollys for rent prior to paying and leaving location.
BRITTANY JIn my first visit, there was only one person working there and I was waiting a while in line. I was not told that I needed to give them 24 hours notice before getting access to my own storage unit. They told me that they also couldn’t access my unit because they ran out of gas for the forklift and had to come by the next day. They also said they couldn’t find my contract although one had already been drafted. They said that they had my name under another unit and got me the wrong box despite telling them exactly what my box number was. I felt the staff was highly incompetent. I went to Storage Mart and they had everything lined up for me before I even showed up. Asides from renting the moving van I will not be coming back. The staff also made more excuses and complaints about their own facility and management than actually helping me out. The staff was also more concerned about staying past their working hours than helping me out.
