The 5’x9’ trailer was old and after we left the Tucson shop we discovered that the running lights did not work. This should have been tested at the pickup site and repaired prior to our arrival. We stopped at a U-Haul dealer in Phoenix and they did some troubleshooting and determined it had to be internal wiring that needed to be fixed by the mobile repair group. One of the pins holding the fold down ramp up was difficult to insert and had to be beaten with a hammer.

BRUCE WVehicle didn't have a full tank of gas when I rented it. I traveled less than 100 miles to n from my destination and had to fill up the gas tank,before I returned it. It was just barely below 3/4 of a tank. I put 12.50 gallons of fuel into it. $39.99 at Quick Trip.one thing I know is that it shouldn't take that much gas to go 100 miles. Truck was crazy 🤪 rough going over bumps, but,it wasn't full.of anything, on the way home. No leg room in the cab,especially for folks like me that are over 6 feet tall. Other than that, it was an ok experience. I haven't rented a Uhaul in over 25 years. Thanks

BRENT Atrain your scheduling personnel to better know your corporate policies and how to come across to customers. I spoke with 3 different agents recently and 2 of them didn't have a clue what your policies are related to refunds but the 3rd one (I believe named Jessica) told me what the policies are and was exactly correct when I got to your facility. ALL of your people at the facility very friendly, knowledgeble, and helpful.

Jason SOverall no issues with the staff, everyone I ever encountered were kind and helpful. Would’ve been nice to have seen the manager more than once in the over one year I rented here. My main issues are regarding events after my unit (446) was broken into and some of my belongings were stolen. I had zero information from the manager or anyone else in the office as to what precautions were being taken to fix the wall that was broken thru from unit 445 in order to gain access to my unit. No one informed me of any measures to secure my unit from 445, if or when the broken wall between my unit 446 and 445 would be repaired. When I inquired to possibly get a different unit in the facility, I was sent to a different unit of the same size (439) being told by an employee that it was ‘vacant’. When I went to check and move the rest of my stuff there was a customer disc lock on it. I went back to the office and the same employee said the manager and the staff personnel who could cut the lock off unit 439 would not be at work until 12pm, at which time someone would call me with an update. No follow up, nothing, zero communication. At the facility location I also observed other people having code issues, being sent to the wrong units, and terrible lighting. The overall mismanagement I observed of the storage facility, coupled with how the break in of my unit was handled, how I received ZERO communication and ZERO follow-up are the main drivers why I chose to vacate. I know there is inherent risk at any storage facility, the way this location is poorly managed makes it an easy target to be taken advantage of in a part of Tucson already susceptible to theft and other minor criminal activities. The location I have since moved to has better security, multiple layers of security, and better lighting. I got a storage unit of the same exact size I had at U-Haul, it is indoor climate controlled, the walls are much more robust, and is less expensive than what I was paying at U-Haul. All of which are reasons why I definitely will not recommend anyone to this storage location ever.

Ulises GI received a call the day before from an unpleasant representative, I believe he stated his name was David. I don't know if it was direct from this location; however, when he called, he opened/started the call citing, "is this XXX," so I responded with the question, "who is this?" He angrily indicated that he was confirming the reservation and hung up prior to me engaging further with the call.
DANA RI've rented uhaul in the past numerous times. This was by far the very worst experience I've had with ANY rental company ever. They overcharged me... I brought it their attention, and they took no responsibly for any of their mistakes... When I picked up the truck to drive across statelines, the mirrors were horribly dirty. The trucks windows were messy, dirty also. I was left to clean them myself right there on company property ?!?! I will never use them again... They charged me so much for a one day rental & didn't honor any agreement we had on specific travel details. THEY JUST WANTED MY/MORE $$$

Got told the road side insurance would make it so if anything happened, they would make our service a priority ans would fix it or solve issues with no questions. Waited with 3 kids under age 10 in a gas station with 3 dogs a cat and car full of our family's stuff and called for assistance that again took hours to be solved got told a mechanic would be to oir location within a hour got sent a tow truck then spent 90 .ore mins on the phone while UHAUL tried to figure out something. Got told trailer is not safe to drive then got asked to drive it 35 mins away to a different store to get a replacement trailer, after we got to it we had to unload and reload a trailer in alambama where the trailer we got was smaller and we had to rent a storage in alabama to fit some of our belongings and have to find a way to get them. Then we get told UHAUL will pay us 250$ to move trailers and for all the issues and time lost and spent and all the lies given to us that we would have our full trailer rental refunded and now we still yet to get the 250$ and are being bounced from 3 different locations being td by customer service who said they already approved our refund that the stores will refund it and none of the stores say its their issue. IF THIS ISNT SOLVED I WILL BE GOING TO BBB AND TAKING FURTHER ACTIONS.

CHARLES AThe security and access was great however being in Tucson Arizona pest control needs to be constant. Our stuff was covered in webs and debris, black widow spiders and nests on everything. We can't even bring our items in our house yet because it all needs to be thoroughly cleaned and inspected so we don't start an investation in our home.

However, there were stains/messes on the storage unit floor and mouse droppings alongside all walls in the facility. Furthermore, my code was not working for the restroom and I was desperate. After calling U-Haul, the phone support person contacted the local team and discovered that the restroom was closed for maintenance. There was no such signage. This would have been a great experience if the storage unit were clean and restroom at least had an out-of-order sign (so I didn't have to spend 15 minutes on an avoidable phone call while rushing to unpack by closing).

After about 20 mins of the clerk trying to figure it out we were able to get our storage unit, we had rented a van to load my belongings in so we went home to get it loaded and went to the storage campus to 1) find a lady on some type of drugs tweaking out and keeping the gate open by blocking the sensors and 2) my storage unit was located inside a hub which had a lock on it and we were not given that combo so we basically loaded our van and made a trip to the storage unit for nothing. I've requested a move out inquiry and I would like a full refund as I was not able to even move my stuff in. We are going to rent another unit from you guys that is bigger and actually located outside so I respectfully request that you and your team make this next experience a little bit better than yesterdays. We could never reach the manager, Tyler Delorenzo. We left multiple messages and emails that were never returned. We called the office number and would get the corporate scheduling who also tried to rich him to no avail. This cost our client additionally because we had to go in person multiple times in order to take care of business. We would never recommend this place to anyone. We hope never to have to deal with this location again.

Earl C | First ImpressionsI rented a truck and unit. I had it 15 minutes and the ignition switch key holder fell off when turned off the vehicle. I could not get the truck to start. Finally l got it started. Later l get to the facility to move in and l was leaving before closing. I could not exit l called got hung up 4 times. Then after calling the accident line l got an awesome agent "Taylor" l explained my being trapped at the facility and she tried to get me to the alarm room. She she could not get through. She said she would call me back if l got disconnected. The call dropped she called and text but she had no luck with the alarm room. She was extremely caring and helpful but l was still stuck so l called Max Security and got Maria. She was also very helpful, we tried a few codes and l still couldn't get out. She was able to extend my time and between her and Taylor l was able to exit. Honestly if not for these two amazing and caring associates l would be furious. After leaving l returned the truck but the door would not close as the wedge was stuck to a piece of metal at the center top hinge. Good grief! Finally after jumping to pull the stars at 115 pounds l final got it to work. Am l happy for the experience no! I'm only happy for the two associates that had the code worked and the truck was properly inspect would have avoided the whole mess. Thank you Maria from Max Care and Taylor from accident assist you saved me. As for the company please inspect your trucks they are not safe.

I loved that the facility had a security fence but we got locked behind it a couple of times while working in our unit at night. We just so happen to work evenings and prefer not to do lifting and moving during the heat of the day in Tucson summers. Otherwise the facility was top notch and we would rent again

Once, I had accidentally left my unit unlocked and they secured it and immediately got into contact with me even though I was a grave shift worker. I have never had any issues and if I had any inquiries, they were answered professionally. I felt secure when inside the storage facility for it was very well lit and security cameras placed throughout. Staff can be seen on grounds doing their checks to ensure a safe and secure place. I ended up moving and the move out process was smooth and not stressful at all. I wish the new place I moved to had such a wonderful facility and team!

There was no availability bc the reservation made a month ago hadn’t moved into the unit yet. So I ended up spending my more $$ to get it o a 5x10. It wasn’t ideal but it’ll have to work. Very disappointed in the Uhaul brand; could not be more pleased with the guy who helped me.

This made for a back and forth runaround from the office (address provided) to the units & back to the office. It would be beneficial to the customer if it was explained online that you MUST go to the office first, since the office is at a completely different location from the units.

Like, normal hours are from 7 to 10, cover charge for hours 10 t0 2 am is 15 bux. You then have contractual liability in case something happens. I was willing to pay someone 50 bux cash to just let me drop my stuff off. I forgot it was 10pm so i had to throw thr stuff out in the alley

When I Call to get assistance I had to repeat everything that I had entered in my online reservation. I was given an access code to enter the property and it did not work. I had to press the call button on the keypad by the gate. He then had to go through another process and give us another code. It seemed very complicated for something that should’ve been very simple.

Your employee escalated an already unpleasant situation to a screaming match between him and me. I did not wait to get that employee's name I just wanted to get out of there after being treated like I meant nothing to Uhaul after they got all the money they could expect from me. They were acting like they were too busy getting the next customer's card numbers to be bothered with a prior customer who had already parted with his money.
