Jacqueline GolaszewskiThis is for UHaul in general. I should have never have needed to go to this UHaul location. After various attempts to get a truck in the first place, it took several Reps to try to help me to get this truck. I got calls dropped, no callbacks, some transfers and horrible customer service all while trying to just simply get a truck from a location where an actual person would be able to assist me. I go to find that that there is a truck parked outside its fenced area ready to be picked up. All it took was one person not to listen to the simple request of a paying customer to set the stage for a terrible experience. I won't say I'll never go back, but if I should, I hope they can do a whole lot better next time. If I can avoid UHaul, I will. This rental wasn't cheap. Unfortunately, customer service doesn't match what they charge. I am so very disappointed in UHaul. Either you need a better training team or a better process to hire Reps who won't leave your customers hanging. I expected so much more from you UHaul.

Honestly and fairly a poor experience, will never be going to this location again.

Joe SifuentezI was initially sent to another location but they did not have the size trailer I reserved so sent to Joe Battle. Drove through a day’s rain during the trip and the trailer leaked and had water damage to two wardrobe boxes, 5 large size boxes, and three medium size boxes. Fortunately, most damage to belongings was minimal - several books, leg of a chair. My packing method of putting several layers of crumpled wrapping paper on the bottom of the boxes for cushioning saved a lot of my personal belongings. Several of the unused wrapping blankets were soaked so they helped keep the water from the boxes too.
Don HicksI believe the RV/ Trailer storage should be 24 hour access without paying an additional fee. Pretty absurd to pay $10 more per month to be allowed 24 hour access to my camper when I’m already paying $151.50 for storage.

I had no problems until I was contacted by Jorge, explaining to me that my vehicles no longer fit the requirements to be stored at this location because of new management. I had 2 dodge ram trucks in the rv storage spot one was in mid restoration and the other was a parts truck that was in an accident. I just feel that if you enter into a contract, the contract should stay valid until the contract expires or a new contract is presented and accepted and signed. Many industries and businesses work on the grandfather in type of situations. It was an inconvenience to come all the way across the state to deal with this issue.

Rex Tate | First ImpressionsWe had our storage unit in the 2nd floor for a climate cool unit that we are paying extra for and upgraded to a 1 size bigger since we needed more space. They placed us in a climate cool unit on the 3rd floor literally in front of the elevator. However, the 3rd floor is wayyyyyyy hotter and humid. The thermostat on the wall on the 3rd floor reads 80 and the sign says that their temperature range is 65-85. Now what I don’t get is that on the second floor the thermostat reading shows 85 which is higher then the 2nd but feels wayyyyyy much cooler throughout the 2nd floor. This is ridiculous because we are paying more money for a unit that’s climate cool to keep our products that we are storing at a good temperature but we feel like U-Haul is manually changing the temperature gauge on the wall since this didn’t make sense that the 3rd floor shows 80 but feels wayyyyyy much hotter then the 2nd floor and the reading on the 2nd floor shows 85 which is hotter then the 3rd but feel wayyyyyy much cooler. If U-Hual is playing us for a fool then I want my money back for all the months that we’ve had a contract with them since day 1 cuz this ain’t right if paying customers are paying more money for a climate cool unit and not even gettin that and also someone might be playing with the gauges. We also took photos with our phone for evidence. We feel like someone is messing with the gauges and should literally walk the floors to feel the actual temperature to get more of a body reading if it’s hotter or cooler. The manager should also be present but wasn’t there and the staff could only state that other customers are stating the same thing but nothing has been done to resolve it.

But the major problem for me is the rates, too many increases, getting to expensive. I tried to talk management but to no avail in getting a better rate. 2nd I was promised electricity connection but it never worked ,my rv’s battery died. Well thanks anyway. Maybe someday I will rent again.

It would really be terrible if something were to happen to a stored vehicle because of the storage areas were being used as shop space.. My neighboring unit had industrial barrels and tools that were left out after being used in the storage space instead of being used strictly for storage. The rope partition marker was destroyed by the same individuals. I wasn't comfortable with the fore-mentioned issues and that is largely the reason I relocated my RV to another location. I hope you are able to use this critique to keep your facility from losing more tenants who want to STORE their possessions in a location that's used strictly for that purpose.

Knowing Uhaul will make double money on the unit because it can be rented out when I checked out, I didn't think it would be an issue. The service agents refused to let me speak to a manager. Better communication would be a must.

What I didn't like was some service issues, like an outdoor storage was the only one made available for me & my stuff had sand & dust all over it, which blew in from outside. That same clerk was being quite difficult & almost indifferent with my questions regarding the storage. That same counter clerk told me, on another day, that he would be with me in a moment, while he had a customer at the counter. However, a female customer came up as I had, and the same clerk assisted her right away, while still being busy with that same male customer. Other employees were helpful, when I discovered damage on my door & reported it to them. Also, I didn't like the storage fee going up five bucks and didn't prorate me a refund when I moved my stuff out, which would have been done prior to rent due date if it wasn't for the monsoonal flooding and lightning taking place. Overall, service met need, but some people in El Paso need to be considerate of all customers equally, regardless of who the customers are ethnically.

Ramos again made another excuse now telling her coworker to pull the sign down at the same time gets up out of her chair aggressively rips the sign down and says the price is wrong and she can't do anything about it. I asked for my unit cost to be adjusted and she said she could not change it. I asked for a manager and she pushed her chair out rudely making an eye roll grabbing her cell phone and walking outside making a secret conversation. She came back saying no ! store manager Cj Padilla said you can go to another facility or pay the fee. I explained that the sign clearly stated the amount and my sister's recorded her removing the sign. She said that's not her sign and she didn't do anything wrong and she doesn't appreciate me speaking to her that way. I said I'm sorry if I am requesting what any normal logical person saw on the sign . She then said well I'm not changing it. I stated I would make a complaint and will continue with the transaction. Ramos cancelled my transaction and said you can go to another facility. I stated I again what I just said. I requested for someone else to assist me since she was clearly being rude and aggressive and frustrated I didn't want anything wrong added to my charges and the setup going awry. The then said in the tone welllll now I have to do everything all over again!!!!!! Requesting all my information again rudely. I asked to check my uhaul truck rental in and she rudely pulled up my day to return it and said it needs to be returned by Friday at 6 pm. I said I wanted to do the transaction since I was already standing in line for 30 mins. Ramos rude again said NO you need to unload your truck pull it to the front and then come back. Clearly again she did not provide any customer service and made the check out procedure complicated. Upon walking up to my storage unit it had a green zip tie around the lock hole. We had to use a knife to cut it and the alarms went off. There was a man next to us and gave us a stare like we just broke in to a unit. Embarrassed was all we felt. If Ramos was professional with any type of good customer service I would not be providing a negative review on how my service was. I would never recommend this facility ever!! Also they tried to charge me 30 dollars for gas when the Sotero checked my truck in. Saying you filled it up more than you needed I'm not sure why it's saying that. He stated it twice and said he would remove it. Again they adjusted the price but would not adjust my storage unit price with false advertising.

When was upgraded to the 5 x 10 was given a unit number that was already occupied so I had to wait more for another unit to be found that was accessible and on occupied which took up the remaining time needed to use a sliding doors.
