I was better off hiring someone to do the work for me at that point. The women who helped me were very sweet, but the van was also pretty dirty. Found a pair of used tweezers in the back of the van. Overall probably won’t be back unless I’m in some sort of horrible situation.

About 5 months ago my sister tried to go to my unit get something for me that I needed but the spare key I gave her did not work. When I returned and tried to use my key, it also did not work. I had to pay $100 for a locksmith to break the lock. U-Haul did not offer me any compensation.

Also this clerk had lost the keys to one of their rental trucks so the cops were there the whole time interviewing employees so nobody could get help quickly. Total shitshow and why the hell is someone else's stuff in my unit? Demanded refund from corporate.

HAMILTON W | Overall ExperienceGet rid of the “assistant manager”. I walk in and her shirt is inside out. The amount due came up and I said that’s definitely not right. Showed her proof of my quote from the day before that was $2500 less. She said there was nothing she could do from her position. I asked if i could talk to a manager about it then. She said she is the manager. Then I said then who is your manager?and she said “she’s on vacation.” I said, okay then can I talk to her manager then and got “oh well she’s also on vacation.” I said “I don’t really care if I have to talk to the CEO, just whoever is higher than you that CAN fix it.” She then screamed at me, said she was cancelling my order and doesn’t have to put up with my bullshit and then said, “maybe you should have booked the correct reservation you stupid whore” because I refused to pay $2500 more than I was quoted the day before(which I showed her proof it being the correct day and time of pick up). I needed this truck to get back home to New York with my things and $2500 is a lot to not account for financially. I went back to my vehicle, made one phone call to another location and got dispatch’s number. One call to dispatch and the price was changed in less than five minutes in my reservation to what I was quoted. Clearly she doesn’t know what she’s doing and the way she spoke to me was absolutely unacceptable. Once the reservation was fixed I got the truck and it was a mess and beat up everywhere including a giant hole in the front passenger corner of the trailer. After the whole situation with this lady I was not about to go back and tell her the trailer was messed up and get one without a hole. It rained on my way to New York and when I got home all of my belongings were soaked. I will go out of my way to tell every single family and friend I have in Colorado not to ever go to this location because of this. Absolute NIGHTMARE.
Autumn BI sent a letter to everyone about the way I was treated the security lack of, misrepresentation, for customer service with my situation. I asked for a copy of my contract I was giving someone else's. at first I wanted to signed copy of my contract. they could not provide it, I asked for the gate entry access that I had. they couldn't provide that, I asked for cameras as to who put the dirty underwear. try to break in and messed up my locks on my RV. RV I never got it. I reported the gate being stuck open to customer service 1-800 number. I made a complaint. I couldn't get out. it took 3 hours to get out to contact the manager to give me a temporary code to get out, then I was accused of being going downstairs and going out the side door like I had done numerous times. times no I've never done that! I am a handicapped 70 year old female. I've been diagnosed of scoliosis and I need two knee replacements. I was told I had to go on 30 minutes entry only to be let in by your staff and let out by your staff... I had 24-hour access. I alerted your office of two break-ins of the fifth wheel next to me. the first one they never reported it to The owner. it was 4 days when he knocked on my RV to find out what had happened. this is uncalled for. read my letter and give you the answer that you have to my questions and my demands. Alexis GI reserved this months ago. You chose to wait until the last minute for your bait and switch where you raised the price $200. I was not in a position to say no and this is unethical. I will plaster reviews all over the internet telling people about this and showing them the proofs of the reservation (the bait) and the new charges on the pick up day (the switch). I will never use this company again.

Ellen ADidn't have my truck after I got dropped off by Uber. Had to go to another location and pay for another Uber. Then when they checked me in the truck they gave me didn't work so they had to give me another truck but didn't switch the information to the new truck so it was almost impossible to check in when I brought the truck back. Funny part is I really don't expect any better.

She followed up with 2 videos on how to access the unit using the PIN that was established. Brigida was professional and courteous. Any stress or worry I had about handling this move long distance was mitigated immediately. I was reassured that the unit would be available and that the truck could also be dropped off at the location. You can tell that Brigida takes tremendous pride in what she does. Customer satisfaction is her TOP PRIORITY!! I will continue to do business with Uhaul indefinitely. Thank you!
