The truck was fine. The man there when I returned was absolutely beyond rude. Although pickup was ok besides adding the safe care fee that I declined, the drop off was horrible. Never encountered that experience at a U-Haul before.

Katherine JMy rental was scheduled for 4/13/25 at 9:00am. The employee working at this location didn't arrive until about 9:10am, so the location didn't open on time. My reservation was a one way rental from Hartford, CT to Bloomsburg, PA for a two day rental. I was told that if I returned the trailer within one days time my rental would be "Prorated" and I would only be charged for one day not two days. I rushed to get the rental returned in one day just to be told at the return location that I would still have to pay for two days. I then called the initial pickup location and the person who seemed to be the manager told me that she will have her employee refund me out of their own pocket because they shouldn't have told me that, and told me that I would be taking money out of their pay for the promised prorated day. This is one of the least professional actions I've seen from a manager at any business I've been a customer of.

JENNIFER WI had a great experience picking up with Maria however I did notice there was a chip on the window 2 minutes after driving off the lot. I took a picture and showed it to the staff when I dropped off. Drop off with Aida was horrible she told me to just leave the key in the truck and I would be all set. When I received my final bill I noticed I was charged extra for gas and the gas meter was off. It stated that I had 1/8th tank when I have a picture to prove that there was 1/4 tank

STEPHEN RMe cobraron un dinero me lo devolvieron sin yo pedirlo me trato de comunicar con la manager no contestan las llamadas me tuve que contactar con servicio al cliente les explico por qué la manager María me estaba tratando de debitar nuevamente el dinero cuando hablé con servicio al cliente les explico nuevamente y la manager María se comunica conmigo con una actitud la cual no es la muy indicada para trabajar con el publico sólo le importa el dinero 💰 y no deja que las personas le expliquen la situación ya que su empleado José fue quien me atendió y no me canceló el storage y me querían seguir cobrando dinero tras de eso me querían cobrar $744.15 los cuales no era verdad mi cuenta estaba al día

Then called me the following day asking about truck that I didn’t returned even thought he got the key. I told him I returned truck on time. He said he will call me back which he did and said I was all set. When I looked at my invoice he said I returned truck at 8 pm and changed me almost $40 more. I request to speak with manager . He asked me to call Monday.

DAVID SWhen I picked up the rental I was told the rental I received would be able to be dropped off at a separate location, in Boston, but when I tried to call customer service to find a dropoff location customer service told me it was a local rental and I had to drop it off back at the original location. While on the phone with this Hartford Uhaul the representative I spoke to was very combative and she did not try to understand my situation at all. She just told me there would be a late fee and that I would have to talk to a manager to resolve the issue. She kept telling me that it was a local rental and that their representatives are trained to understand that, despite the false information I was told when I picked up the rental. She seemed to try as best as possible to avoid any responsibility her local Uhaul location has in this situation. However when I dropped off the truck the man I spoke to was much more helpful and understanding and put the billing on hold until I get the chance to speak to a manager on Monday. I'm not sure why the woman I spoke to on the phone couldn't offer me that same level of understanding and communication. This was all on Friday, February 28th. Picked up the truck at 9:30am and dropped it off at the same location at around 5:45. I look forward to speaking to the manager on Monday so we can get this resolved.

PRINCESS HStaff was professional and helpful . However they’d put a lock on storage for late payment But even long after I’d paid they still had not removed their additional lock . When I brought this to their attention a gentleman was very apologetic and remove it immediately.

Jenri DI had the greatest customer service with Maria and her staff, although taking a nothing away from the staff, because they work with me and all sorts of ways, although a lot of my belongings got wet and damaged and I had to throw them away with rats eating through my couches, mice and rat poop all over my furniture for TVs in the box and out of the box were soaking wet. GEORGE FWorst experience. Had to get insurance as a requirement to rent…. Talked with haul online. NO Requirement Van had inaccurate mileage. Did check until out of site. Notified when returned. Recived charge for cleaning. .. only thing left was the plastic bags the blankets were in. Figured they were charging for their notification the Mileage was wrong I have rented from other site, but this was a U-Haul store. WILL NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN………..

They were all very kind and professional to me as well as other customers when entering the facility. They operate as a team. They were very helpful to me with storage information whenever I had a request. The storage site was well maintained at all times. I also want to recognize Ms. April Soto, who was also outstanding and managed the facility when I opened my account. She introduced me to Deyedia(who would later succeed her as site manager). I want to recognize her in this review as well because Ms. Soto was also a class person and shared with me that she was there temporarily to assemble a new operating team for the site. I appreciate the excellent team that she assembled. I also appreciated the great professionalism and leadership of Deyedia when she assumed operation of the site.
