They chagrd me a hole day after I called then the day befor an ask if I could have it for one day. They guy said sure he wasn't going to charge me for it. But then I got my receipt an it was twice as much as I was told when I picked it up.. So unprofessional. This place is a joke

They were really professional and clearly knew what they were doing and took photos. They couldn’t believe how the hitch had been connected. Lou was able to push down on the hitch and showed me how easily it popped off the ball because it was not tightened entirely. This was a major safety issue for my trip from MD to NH. I explained about how I didn’t want insurance but couldn’t change it on pickup bc of the incompetence. He said he would request a refund of that. I strongly recommend you STOP using the pick up location and fix your online application so you don’t have to select insurance.

I wasn’t given an explanation of how the storage unit worked. I learned I could pull a truck or car in after a year of moving things in and out when I was doing a final walk through to end the contract. The employees are not often in the store. They ignore you and deny you. They're often on the phone if they’re inside the store completely ignoring customers. I felt very ignored as a customer and I feel remiss that I used U-Haul. They couldn’t for one year give me the time of day. Also, the floor was wet each and every time I entered the hallway to the unit. The ceiling in unit 421 was completely and totally covered in bugs and debris. The floor was completely and totally disgusting inside the unit. There was also a really bad stench inside.

The vehicle I was assigned was not road worth and extremely dangerous needing new brakes, rotors and an alignment. It was a terrifiying drive and I will not be renting from this location again especially. Almost $300 for a dangerous drive and non road worthy vehicle.

We are moving theater set pieces that are very wide. We need every inch and the hand cart gets in the way. We had to remove it even though we didn’t use it. We get charged $7 dollars for that. The U-Haul app camera feature needs improvement. It can’t focus or zoom so taking pictures is difficult.

The people were nice. The truck had 100k miles and sounded awful, especially going up hills. I only used the vehicle for one day and because I needed to drop off in a different location, I needed to get a 15’ truck to move a single couch. On top of this… — The recommended gallons to refill the tank was way more than I needed. —I wanted to rent in Hudson NH, but they didn’t have the vehicle I needed —I wish someone had suggested that I could just use a trailer, but then they didn’t even have one on site. I wish there was a way I could have delivered a couch from Hudson NH to the Berkshires (just under 3 hrs) for less than $200… plus fuel! The location was fine but I was disappointed in UHaul.

There was no one at the counter (again), waited approximately 8 minutes, then once I got my rental hooked up to my truck, I then had to wait another 10 minutes while the FedEx truck unloaded, trapping me in the lot. You guys can do better!!! This location is closest to me and but 80% of the time it’s a frustrating experience!!!

The equipment was in rough shape. The driver's seat was broken and tilted to one side; it wouldn’t move up, and the manual window crank was broken. The people were friendly, though. Both the people who checked me in and checked me out were nice.

Was a outside corner unit. Trucks were always driving by us from workers with no regard for our safety and especially one of the staff member was extremely unprofessional and rude! And not to mention was expensive for what we were paying for. And I've spent a lot of money with your company at multiple facilities in the past three years. Cody Caskey, the site manager assisted me when I was going through a rough patch in my life. Also one service representative help me with two plants I had brought in. Because of it the plants are still alive! Cody Caskey runs a tight ship and represents the U-Haul brand well. Please note that he should've given the highest rating for a survey and should be consider a rising star within the ranks of the U-Haul team!

Scott was incredible! I walked in with a number of problems and in just a short time he had solutions to all of them. He had answers to all of my questions, and his knowledge of his job was remarkable. Hard to say a visit to U-Haul was enjoyable, but because of Scott, it was. I can't say enough good things about Scott at the Nashua South U-Haul location. He was simply amazing. I had some packing guys with me who had packed up my U-Haul truck and then came with me to unload and pack up my storage unite. When they saw the unit I had rented, they said, "that's too small". So, I told Scott my dilemma and he immediately went to work searching for other potential units at this site. Unfortunately, there were none available and I was panicked. Then, Scott looked at any units that might be marked "dirty" and found a bigger unit. It was actually in move-in condition and my packing guys were able to get all of my stuff in the unit. Scott's focus on the customer was a breath of fresh air and he made me a big fan of U-Haul, especially since I have had a very bad experience with PODS in the weeks prior to this visit.

I understand why there is no lighting inside the actual storage rooms and I don’t know how you would manage that. Not having lighting in the little room there’s a little bit of a challenge. I did see an electrical outlet as I was sweeping out. Perhaps tell customers to bring their own lighting? Lou, in Nashua, was VERY helpful. He was wonderful to deal with. He alone would bring back my business or give me cause to recommend the facility to others.

Just as I finished loading the truck, I got a call from the manager who told me that a unit became available and Cody told him about my situation. I took it over the phone and came back and completed the rental. It could not have been easier and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Five stars all around.

I closed down one of two units I have today, finally having some help moving bigger things. In the process, Shane came over to ensure everything was going well and made sure I didn’t need any additional supplies or vehicles. I feel so safe knowing these guys are watching both physically and remotely! When it came time to close down my account on that unit, Brian had me inspected and the contact completed in minutes. He was brilliant, efficient, and very engaging, making the whole moving process as enjoyable as such a thing can be. Your staff are unreasonably good at what they do and I’m grateful to have UHaul so conveniently close!

The two gentlemen (one was Brian, didn’t catch the other’s name to my eternal shame) were brilliant, helpful, and very knowledgeable. They reduced my concerns about moving and made me feel like the most important person in their lives. The fact that they did all this 10 minutes before closing makes them true professionals in my eyes, and deserving of the highest praise. I was totally devastated after showing up at the Amherst location and being told my reservation for a unit was not honored because they had no units. I had just traveled 1300 miles for 3 days across the country and had nowhere to put my things. I took the chance and headed to the one on Daniel Webster. That’s where I met Shane, and I’m so glad I did! He went above and beyond to make sure that we had the unit we needed, that we didn’t have to use the stairs, and that we were able to return the equipment we rented at this location, instead of the Amherst one. The place was very busy. Once he cleared all customers, and the store was closed, he still came to check on us and make sure we had what we needed. He also helped me make sure I could take the vehicle off the transport trailer. I was a little disappointed about the prices being higher than the other location, but I haven’t seen customer service like that in so long! That service made me know the money I was paying was well worth it! Thank you Shane!
