I haven't used U-Haul in quite a while and I was surprised to find there wasn't any straps or blankets included with the rental. Not the fault if the location and highly recommend them.

Every uhaul store is different when it comes to personnel some employees have like an attitude they act like they own the company They need to be more people’s person. Now this guys at the Harvard street store in Leominster mass are really nice people you feel comfortable talking with them they that’s the way customers should feel when they go to a store.

I find it cheaper then having to purchase a trailer and it is simple by using app. Trailer is clean with a simple one page contract for any issues that arise. I did have to call to hold on to trailer longer then expected with no issues for next day drop off within my 24 hour rental.

Great Experience and Highly Recommend!! The Uhaul location on Harvard Street in Leominster, MA is one of the best facilities I have ever utilized. I had my unit for over 8 years with no problems. The staff are exceptionally helpful and courteous. Never had a bad encounter with any staff, items remained secure and no issues with access at all.

Previous, I was out through a nightmare at Clinton, MA location which I would condemn and avoid like the black plague. Awesome staff here! Great service and assistance! Only criticism is that the Ram tall van I rented doesn’t have enough leg or seat travel to accommodate a six foot passenger that wants to nap! Was uncomfortable for my son for 14 hour round trip! Hah!! But, the truck and folks at this UHaul location were Awesome!!👍👍

If you think that /scolding/ people who have just been moving heavy furniture for not folding your blankets to your exact specifications is going to get you anything besides very angry and frustrated customers, you are mistaken. In general this is an excellent location and overall our experiences there are very good but heaven help me, don't scold or condecend. That was enough to send us elsewhere next time.

There long enough to see 3 different managers! All were excellent. Any concerns were addressed quickly. Generous access hours! Suggest only that long term renters be advised to cover there storage items with tarp since over time, enough airborne dust and dirt makes it's way into unit.

The staff gave my reserved unit to someone else. He called to verify I still needed it because somebody else was asking for one that size. I told him on the phone yes I was depending on that unit and we were delayed driving from Florida to Massachusetts. I had another flat tire the next day which further delayed us but instead of calling again and talking to me in person after I expressly told him how important that reservation was. When I arrived yesterday he had given it to somebody else. So instead of a 10x25 ft unit I get a 5x5 ft unit. He further asked me to back up the trailer and move around some trucks because he wasn't prepared and then tried to have me wait until the next day to have the truck checked back in. After I loaded my stuff I asked him to please stay and complete the check in before he left. He was friendly in person but has really messed up my plans after he gave my reservation away.

The best part was different product options, as I only needed small locker for a very short period of time. With no deposit, and no admin fee. I appreciate the honest pricing. There was an issue with my lock and insurance, but the great Rep. resolved those issues. Even though its a for profit org, Uhaul is not greedy and I have a positive perception of the company overall.

Somehow, even though I use my cell phone to do so many online things, like using a patient portal to read appointment and test info etc, eBay, hotel reservations, U-Haul reservations took me AN HOUR to figure out. I couldn't VISUALLY see the prompt showing where I made entry errors, and kept correcting the wrong things. Although my vision isn't good, I am not legally blind, and use my phone for everything, paying bills,ordering groceries, Amazon DAILY. But, uploading a driver's license was very easy and an excellent, experience, which is a reason that I said average instead of poor. Also, I could get NO INFORMATION ANYWHERE that I reserved a stacked storage unit, and then whether it was upper or lower. My daughter and I are short, and lifting something over forty lbs overhead ON A LADDER would have been difficult. Fortunately, we ended up with a floor unit. I called TWO reservationists and tried to call the actual property. Reservationists promised that he sent a message and that I would get a phone call. I said text was fine, and got neither.

We chose U-Haul primarily because the facility is located very close to our (former) home; we would be closing on our home in MA 2 weeks before closing on one in FL, so convenient access for frequent trips back and forth was important. Manager Chris was very cordial in all ways, and keeps the office, the grounds, and the storage “rooms” pleasantly tidy. Also, our timing of closings changed twice, and he and the U-Haul system were quite accommodating. Moving is never for the faint of heart, but despite inevitable challenges our experience with this U-Haul facility was a very good one.

The only thing I didn't like about the experience was being forced to buy your circular lock. The lock I brought with me would have fit on the door fine and probably stronger than than the one I had to buy. The person behind the counter was excellent and followed all virus protocols.
