The code I got didn’t work and I didn’t get a key card when checked in . Then the elevator broke and no one came to fix it quickly. So overall the mice in was not a good experience. I was paying two guys to help so I had to spend more money than I should. The manager did apologize for the elevator being broken.

The guy at the front office wearing green was weak and a loser, respectfully. The front office lady was helpful and kind. The storage unit was poorly lit which is why I needed to use my phone light at one point. The storage unit was only “clean” because I cleaned it personally and was “forced” to. These were my troubles and related to claims. Otherwise, the facility was pretty legit.

The truck performed well. It had good power and reasonable speed. It was a stiff ride, but I did not have much weight in the back. The receiving location was open and operational before I arrived. The sign in front of the office states that those with equipment are to park there (where the sign pointed) and an employee would be out. After a couple of minutes, I when inside the office when no employee approached. The door was unlocked and I was able to walk in. The employee greeted me as I approached the front desk. The employee requested the key and we walked to the truck together. The employee inspected the truck, inside and out, entered some data into their phone app, and told me “That’s all we need!”

The online/in app check in and out process is awful. This is a very simple exchange money for a vehicle. No need to call a 3rd party for no reason before I pick up the vehicle at 8am. And no reason to not have a button on the app to return the truck if I'm not at the location. Especially if the driver is different than the person who is paying for the vehicle.

$19.95 sounded like a reasonable rate to reserve a van . I've never rented from U-Haul so I did not know about the "added charges"...mileage charge, environmental charge, rental tax. All seem legitimate but wish I had been told initially. Also, the manager was very rude and condescending.

Loading and unloading area is too small for when multiple vehicles are trying to load or unload. There's bo other good place to try to do this. Unfortunately the lot is just too small for more than one or two at a time. It's also very inconvenient there is only one elevator so when you have multiple people moving their stuff in and out you end up waiting several minutes just to use an elevator

The staff and manager were so rude. Even the moving helpers abandoned my things. I paid for a key and it was not given to me. To get to storage I was told the elevator was bad, I asked what I should do hence I already picked a van, the manager called the police. I was threatened and treated like a trash. He was screaming at me and 2 men that came with me. It was hard to get them in the office even when you see them, you call they won't attend to you. The manager runs away when you call him for assistance. His attitude can't help any business to grow, even on franchise infact he is not representing the company well. I have been traumatized. I had a horrible experience with Uhaul Amanda Lane, Dallas Texas, 75238. I can't recommend this location even to the devil.

I'm shook honestly, keeping my stuff at this location was pretty standard actually , it was the shameful tactics after I returned the truck the next day , upon contract signing milage reported on vehicle was astoundingly off by almost 200 miles , upon returning the truck that was used to drive 34 miles from storage to my new place and back , we reported the error and were told that everything was good and we had no worries i even checked out with the clerk and closed my account, upon leaving me and my girlfriend went to the park to enjoy the day and see some old friends, my girlfriend's bank messaged her stating the U-Haul was charging 300 dollars more on her card , without any way of contacting establishment since no calls were accepted and lobby closed at 4 on the day being discussed, i find it highly unclear as to how it's legal to close a contract issue a receipt while pleasantly thanking us for our business only to steal more hours later , I know times are hard but man come on seriously people, just be careful some of the worst crooks smile in your face to distract from their wickedness.

Mr. DuBois was very kind and attentive to our needs and made sure we were happy with our storage unit and that was greatly appreciated. I can tell he is a multi-tasker as while attending to us, he was also able to be helpful to others entering the office. 1 way in and out is not a good practice or ease of entry or exit for customers. I was in unit 1101 right next to a door but couldn't access. The hallways are narrow n would've been lots easier to use that door.

I reserved a room. Then the next day I physically went into the facility to secure my room. After signing the contract and given a security card and a nap with my unit highlighted I went home to finish loading my truck. I recieved an email where the manager tried to blame me for not answering my phone because I was IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING line it was my fault his facility rented me a room that somehow after my reservation and in person meeting someone later figured out was rented to another person. This was after business hours and in a Sunday so I was left high and dry without a storage unit causing me to have to pay extra for a truck for another day. The insulting thing is in the email the manager tried to make me the responsible party for now answering my phone WHILE I WAS BUSY MOVING. This is the most unprofessional business I've dealt with on a long time. If you are looking for storage I would look anywhere but here. I even responded to the email to give the manager a chance to redeem himself but an unprofessional person who blame a customer BEFORE taking responsibility for their mistakes is a unprofessional as it gets. This was the most disappointing experience I've ever had with uhaul and even after giving the manager a chance to at least apologize or make me the customer happy he failed for the second time. I hope uhaul can fix these issues and find ways to compensate their customers for unprofessional and inadequate service because if they don't they will lose more customers like me and the ppl I will be forced to tell to stay away because of my experience.

I'm did the same day move in online and it indicated that we had access until 10:00 p.m. but the manager of this facility was very rude in informing everyone that he was not going to open the side door after 5:00 p.m. for a week waiting on parts....... Needless to say I had to carry everything upstairs to the third floor on foot hardly any carts very rude gentleman tell me with a full car as I pull up that I cannot have access to my storage due to the elevator being out of service. Highly not recommended F+++++++

The truck I drove there from Michigan was rejected by the location so I lost my free month special for my storage unit. Although uhaul in Michigan informed me that I can drop off at this location both my truck and my trailer. There were no large storage units at the nearest uhaul for me to select. I am very unhappy that both locations are uhaul companies and my special was not honored. My pickup location misinformed me and I had to pay $200 for my first month in order to unload the truck. I would like uhaul to credit my second month for the mishap on their end. Not only did it cost me $2500 for a one way and auto transport, I spent money above my budget. The rep who checked in ,y storage refused to also give me two keys for the storage even after I explained to him that my husband and I will not always be together and will need access. I really feel like uhaul can do better. I would like to be contacted by leadership with some sort of resolution to my concerns. Thank you for your time and consideration.

I had covid and was unable to come in. When I finally was well enough to call and tell them I no longer needed my storage unit. That I would be moving my stuff out. The manager told me that if I called on the 3rd day which was July 29th instead of the 4th day July 30th. That I could’ve moved out free of charge. So I paid a whole months rent for an empty storage unit. I’ve had problems with Uhaul since I started my moving journey. I scheduled a rental and when I went to go pick it up, on my moving day, they told me my reservation had been canceled. No one called me to inform of that. I will never give my money to this company again!

I used the place from 2005 until July of 2021. Never had a problem, used the online application to pay the bill and all was well. Staff was always courteous and available. Indoor, climate controlled after 16 years my books were all perfect. I will recommend to anyone I know who needs extra storage. Thank you!

Not a good place to store anything. They never answer the phone. Phone calls are always being forwarded to the call center. It took them quite a while to enter my correct information so I would get alerts as to when my bill was due. This caused me to get a late fee which, when I requested a refund, they ignored. I had two storage units and forgot to pay the bill on one of them and they locked my card preventing me from getting to the storage unit that was up to date as well. This place is just a disorganized mess.

Door was broken to storage unit and allowed outside people to get in. I had trouble with my key to enter into the gate two times. And had to be given a new one.

Relatives helped move items from the unit. Rat droppings were sighted; they should have taken photos and reported this to the U-Haul office. Please fumigate your place. I stored rat-free items. Now?
