Overall, very good experience. Easy pick up and drop off. Trevor was great during the process. The only issue was that the vehicle only had less than 1/4 tank of gas to start. Thought the tank would have been more full on pickup. Otherwise, no issues at all.

There needs to be some kind of inside shade for those windows. It would be so so hot up there regardless of the “climate control” Labeling the code boxes (which one to disarm and which one unlocks the door) would be helpful. That code system was very confusing for a long time. Everything else was great.

There was only one young lady working at this facility! Way too much to do for 1 person. I would seriously consider more employees. With that being said she did a great job! She was actually running to hook trailers up and to attend to other customers. She should be commended for her performance.

I was not happy. I went in 2 weeks before I needed the Trailer and booked a one way 6 x 12 cargo trailer from Apache Junction ,AZ to Minot, ND. to pick up the morning of Saturday, April 26th. The gal, so called the manager, said it would be there and I asked again, no problems, it will be here and she said yes. I get a call from U haul on the 25th that they do not have a trailer for me on the 26th. I was so up set. I flew 2 people down to help me and we were heading to ND. on Sat. Evening. So I drove to the u haul on Apache Junction and told her about my phone call and also reminded her of what she said. I told her I was single and I flew 2 people in to help me load.. She laughed and said well I am single too!. I told her that was not funny and a very bad comment to make. She then said she would call and they found one in Phoenix or Superior. I was not impressed to have to go get that since she told me it Will be in Apache Junction. She said they would give me $50 off to go get it. I said I guess I don't have a choice. And told the gal in Apache Junction that I was not impressed and never promise something to someone that is not true. I got back home and my phone rang, and it was the gal, I believe her name is Amber that she made a phone call and A guy was bringing one back on friday. Hopefully that was true, such a coincidence . any way I got my U haul, and the guy that helped me in Apache Junction to hook up was great. It worked well, and the guy where I dropped it off in Minot was a nice as could be. So tell the Manager at Apache Junction not to say things that are not True! Diane Nelson

Dealing with U-Haul all day on the phone and with unknowledgeable customer service people ALL DAY LONG which interfered with my move . I’m just grateful that I finally ended up with Ashley on the phone and she was able to switch the drop time and location for me. She was the only person who helped me all day!! She deserves a raise or a better position there

The storage location is amazing and the people working there will do all they can to help you find the right equipment needed for a rental. My only complaint is that I feel like it is almost too secure because the storage alarm would go off all the time because someone would forget to check_in or check_out it was very annoying.

I was confronted by a manager to get out of the building after I disputed a charge on my bill. I rented a truck that the odometer was not accurate. Don’t care to ever do business wit U-haul for those reasons.

All things were great. Having to pay an extra fee for 24 hour access to Rv parking seems a bit odd. Not sure how that charge is relevant. Otherwise all was good however reaching the branch directly was almost impossible. It would always defer me to a call centre. It took 4 calls to finalize my check out. Always very courteous and professional staff. Just those 2 points I thought I’d relay. Thank you.

Horrible, zero help from manager on duty. Wouldn’t move from her chair to check the vehicle out or in at the return. Windshield was chipped that was not acknowledged at check out and manager refused to inspect the vehicles and clear me from responsibility. I am not saying you charged me for this but at lease the manager could move herself to the outside of the building to inspect the vehicle when Ivreturneddit. Very lazy manager ( female with red hair)

UHaul went out of their way to provide the containers to me as they arrived 2000 miles way early and based on my road condition being difficult for the forklift they prevailed with a solution. Thank You ALL from Grand Rapids and Manistee for your Great Work! I Highly recommend UHaul for moving/ relocation the Upods were Fantastic and nothing damaged!!!

Will not ever use U-Haul again. Rental equipment is not what I ordered online. When I realized your equipment would not allow me to move my belongings, I contacted your office and was told you don't offer a trailer for my needs. I asked if you had a trailer for my needs and was told NO. I spend 2 days dragging your trailer for nothing and upon returning the trailer, I was not given and type of compensation. The cost to me was $86.61. For the reasons listed, I will never use or recommend U-Haul again.

The facility is very neat and.clean. Every time we go In it usually is another person that waits on us and doesn’t know our situation. There needs to be better communication between employees. The covered storage is awesome. We were never informed of the electric trickle charge that was included so we were not prepared to do that when we parked. The staff is very nice and some are very helpful.

The truck we were assigned has a passenger front headlight that needs to be replaced, The equipment didn’t seem to be previously checked out before it was assigned to us. Also, we rented the truck for 24 hours. However, when we went to return the truck @ 5:20 pm we found the business was closed and no one around. It was documented as well as the employee we rented from assured us that their working hours were until 6 pm. There were two other rentals that were returned before us and they too were told that the office was open until 6 pm. It seemed the office staff was not well trained in their office procedures.

It is very difficult to reach this facility or any U-haul facility by phone. It always goes to a call center and all of the options have nothing to do with RV Storage. Plus the gate kept breaking down and that limited hours and access.

Rental agent was not very courteous. Seemed to be annoyed by our presence! There was a hiccup in the rental, something about a past issue to resolve. Waited on hold for 25 minutes. Agent saw the hold but could not identify the issue, so she lifted the hold. BTW, the young men that assisted us with pick up and return were EXCELLENT!

Was a great storage space for my extra cars I couldn’t store at my house during remodel. I’ve also stored my boat here as well. It was easy to park and keep a trickle charger on my stuff. However, I wish they allowed vehicles again. Unfortunately, they advertise vehicle storage, (cars, trucks, suvs) but we’re not supposed to store them there as per district manager. Facilities and staff are amazing! 5 stars! But the change up in policy and false advertising really sucks. I would blame the people who own the company in the area.

Everything was really good, until the motion lights went out and would not come back on in the outdoor storage lot. Not a big deal it just made it harder to get backed in in the dark. It was also very difficult to reach the branch directly the multiple time I tried calling, id be rerouted to to head office. Staff was however friendly and helpful every time. Overall a clean new facility with friendly staff, eager to assist.

Had a very bad experience with the person that greeted me up on arrival. He was arrogant, disrespectful, rude and lacked the training for customer service. His manager stepped in and resolved my issues. I told his manager that this person needed training on how to interact with customers.

My BIG gripe is when we selected the storage units, I requested them on the first floor and they were given. But when we arrived, everything was on the third floor which gummed up the works for our out of state movers having to wait for adjustments and charge $1000 more. Also moving out we reserved a 26ft truck and it magically became unavailable the day before and had to pick up another from a Mesa location. I would give four stars, but because of the major inconvenience and causing extra charges from our movers, have to do three 3 1/2 stars

Employees suck. Asked to be called when we could move in new facility. Never got call. Then noticed people moving in. When to reserve spot for RV, went next day to move in and they had reserved stg unit, not rv stg. Got contract and moved in. Yesterday went to get in and couldn't, code denied/unknown. I was not in system. That unit showed as vacant in system. Magr redid contract and gave us new code. One problem after another. If there was another place to move to, this close, I would be there!

The gentleman who helped us check in was friendly yet professional, knowledgeable, considerate and overall made this a very pleasant experience. Downside on facility - I'd recommend narrow color-coded stripe on floor (like hospitals do) OR room indicator on wall when you step off of elevator (like hotels do) 2001-2064 with arrow left, 2065-2200 arrow right OR map of facility/floor laminated on wall - to make it easier to get around and find units. VERY confusing otherwise - and any/all of those are easy to do.

I rented the storage for my son. It was his belongings in the unit. He rented a uhaul to move a shed, which gave him a free month. I went to uhaul to cancel my unit and let him take over the unit in his name for the one free month. At first the uhaul representative didn't want to do it. Wanted me to move everything out and wait one day b4 my 34 yr old son could rent. They treated us like we were trying to do something under handed. Finally after a few phone calls to Amber, the general manager, we were able to close my contract and assign the same storage unit to my son without moving everything out and back in. Amber was rude, short, and hung up on me a few times but in the end Provided proper customer service.

TL;DR great storage facility, only dinged by a bad phone agent reccomendation and a bad experience ay the truck drop off location. It was no frills. The truck return just met expectations. The only saving grace was the staff at the storage facility. Roman was helpful. When I went in to the truck return initially the front desk staff gal, black hoodie, was on her phone the entire time I was working with her. Then didn't know how to properly remove a trailer. Probably needed more training or someone who did know how. The second gal who helped me, wore a green shirt, was good. At the storage facility, Roman fixed a mistake made by phone booking. The person who booked me on the phone tried to say all I needed was for a 20' truck could fit in a 7x10, to save money since I had a free month I assume, it couldn't so I had to move it to a 10x10 instead, but he helped me instead get moved to a proper size storage unit.

We have not moved in. We were there in December to pick out our rv space. As of today the facility is still not ready for rv's. Its been almost 4 months. Its sad that we were not kept informed unless I called and asked. We leave in about a week and have to find a different place. This is super frustrating. Not happy at all about the delay.

I purchased the rental on Easter Sunday, my move out date from my apartment. I was informed although office hours were from 9-5, I would be able to access the unit until 10:00pm. I put my first load of items into the unit around 4:00pm, came back after 5:00pm to unload the next load and was unable to get into the building. I had to store all of my possessions outside in the rain. While my unit seems okay, I am not happy at all regarding the hours and now knowing I’m unable to access my unit unless it’s during store hours. Update your outside systems so the date and time are reflected accurately so customers are able to access their units until the time told.

I understand how important surveys are as I am surveyed at my job and nothing less than five stars is unacceptable. The people that work at the facility are very friendly, polite and helpful. However, I have yet to move in to my storage space because it is still unavailable. Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the gate in the RV storage area. So I am waiting patiently for that to be repaired so that I can move my RV to a more convenient, secure and clean storage facility.

The experience with the people at the Apache Junction location has been great, but when I reserved the units I was told that they were on the first floor. Somehow when I paid for them, they were on the third floor unknowingly. Caused major headaches with the movers and had to pay extra.

Space assigned 2203 was already occupied. Unable to walk to office as items for storage were in my possession the hallway. Called them and individual did not know why a lock was on the unit so reassigned us a new locker space. Quite frustrated but it was corrected.

Booked a 10x20 thru reservation Was given a 10x10 No 10x20 on site Settled for a 10x15 (same price) The 10x15 is not in system and now want me to pay for more people to move to the unit next to it.. offered free mo th as if it was not already included

I just had an issue with the wrong storage unit I wanted out door but the outcome wasent bad, they did helped me out after all .

Reserved unit & paid online, then had dozens of questions & demands, like emergency # & had to give emergency adress ! Drivers lic has a po box and said I needed a physical adress, just sold my home & no physical adress, then insurance ,said I needed insurance !! 1st time took load to unit, it was wet on floor & very humid in building & hours were supposed to be til 10pm but it was locked at 6;30 pm & no acess!! The supervisor was very rude & snoby !!
