It would be so so hot up there regardless of the “climate control” Labeling the code boxes (which one to disarm and which one unlocks the door) would be helpful. That code system was very confusing for a long time. Everything else was great.

I went in 2 weeks before I needed the Trailer and booked a one way 6 x 12 cargo trailer from Apache Junction ,AZ to Minot, ND. to pick up the morning of Saturday, April 26th. The gal, so called the manager, said it would be there and I asked again, no problems, it will be here and she said yes. I get a call from U haul on the 25th that they do not have a trailer for me on the 26th. I was so up set. I flew 2 people down to help me and we were heading to ND. on Sat. Evening. So I drove to the u haul on Apache Junction and told her about my phone call and also reminded her of what she said. I told her I was single and I flew 2 people in to help me load.. She laughed and said well I am single too!. I told her that was not funny and a very bad comment to make. She then said she would call and they found one in Phoenix or Superior. I was not impressed to have to go get that since she told me it Will be in Apache Junction. She said they would give me $50 off to go get it. I said I guess I don't have a choice. And told the gal in Apache Junction that I was not impressed and never promise something to someone that is not true. I got back home and my phone rang, and it was the gal, I believe her name is Amber that she made a phone call and A guy was bringing one back on friday. Hopefully that was true, such a coincidence . any way I got my U haul, and the guy that helped me in Apache Junction to hook up was great. It worked well, and the guy where I dropped it off in Minot was a nice as could be. So tell the Manager at Apache Junction not to say things that are not True! Diane Nelson

I’m just grateful that I finally ended up with Ashley on the phone and she was able to switch the drop time and location for me. She was the only person who helped me all day!! She deserves a raise or a better position there

PATRICK BAll things were great. Having to pay an extra fee for 24 hour access to Rv parking seems a bit odd. Not sure how that charge is relevant. Otherwise all was good however reaching the branch directly was almost impossible. It would always defer me to a call centre. It took 4 calls to finalize my check out. Always very courteous and professional staff. Just those 2 points I thought I’d relay. Thank you.

Windshield was chipped that was not acknowledged at check out and manager refused to inspect the vehicles and clear me from responsibility. I am not saying you charged me for this but at lease the manager could move herself to the outside of the building to inspect the vehicle when Ivreturneddit. Very lazy manager ( female with red hair)

TERRENCE GUHaul went out of their way to provide the containers to me as they arrived 2000 miles way early and based on my road condition being difficult for the forklift they prevailed with a solution. When I realized your equipment would not allow me to move my belongings, I contacted your office and was told you don't offer a trailer for my needs. I asked if you had a trailer for my needs and was told NO. I spend 2 days dragging your trailer for nothing and upon returning the trailer, I was not given and type of compensation. The cost to me was $86.61. For the reasons listed, I will never use or recommend U-Haul again.

The covered storage is awesome. We were never informed of the electric trickle charge that was included so we were not prepared to do that when we parked. The staff is very nice and some are very helpful.

ANTHONY AThe truck we were assigned has a passenger front headlight that needs to be replaced, The equipment didn’t seem to be previously checked out before it was assigned to us. Also, we rented the truck for 24 hours. However, when we went to return the truck @ 5:20 pm we found the business was closed and no one around. It was documented as well as the employee we rented from assured us that their working hours were until 6 pm. There were two other rentals that were returned before us and they too were told that the office was open until 6 pm. It seemed the office staff was not well trained in their office procedures.

JEFFREY HIt is very difficult to reach this facility or any U-haul facility by phone. It always goes to a call center and all of the options have nothing to do with RV Storage. Plus the gate kept breaking down and that limited hours and access.

But the change up in policy and false advertising really sucks. I would blame the people who own the company in the area.

But when we arrived, everything was on the third floor which gummed up the works for our out of state movers having to wait for adjustments and charge $1000 more. Also moving out we reserved a 26ft truck and it magically became unavailable the day before and had to pick up another from a Mesa location. I would give four stars, but because of the major inconvenience and causing extra charges from our movers, have to do three 3 1/2 stars

Downside on facility - I'd recommend narrow color-coded stripe on floor (like hospitals do) OR room indicator on wall when you step off of elevator (like hotels do) 2001-2064 with arrow left, 2065-2200 arrow right OR map of facility/floor laminated on wall - to make it easier to get around and find units. VERY confusing otherwise - and any/all of those are easy to do.

I went to uhaul to cancel my unit and let him take over the unit in his name for the one free month. At first the uhaul representative didn't want to do it. Wanted me to move everything out and wait one day b4 my 34 yr old son could rent. They treated us like we were trying to do something under handed. Finally after a few phone calls to Amber, the general manager, we were able to close my contract and assign the same storage unit to my son without moving everything out and back in. Amber was rude, short, and hung up on me a few times but in the end Provided proper customer service.

The truck return just met expectations. The only saving grace was the staff at the storage facility. Roman was helpful. When I went in to the truck return initially the front desk staff gal, black hoodie, was on her phone the entire time I was working with her. Then didn't know how to properly remove a trailer. Probably needed more training or someone who did know how. The second gal who helped me, wore a green shirt, was good. At the storage facility, Roman fixed a mistake made by phone booking. The person who booked me on the phone tried to say all I needed was for a 20' truck could fit in a 7x10, to save money since I had a free month I assume, it couldn't so I had to move it to a 10x10 instead, but he helped me instead get moved to a proper size storage unit.

Its sad that we were not kept informed unless I called and asked. We leave in about a week and have to find a different place. This is super frustrating. Not happy at all about the delay.

I was informed although office hours were from 9-5, I would be able to access the unit until 10:00pm. I put my first load of items into the unit around 4:00pm, came back after 5:00pm to unload the next load and was unable to get into the building. I had to store all of my possessions outside in the rain. While my unit seems okay, I am not happy at all regarding the hours and now knowing I’m unable to access my unit unless it’s during store hours. Update your outside systems so the date and time are reflected accurately so customers are able to access their units until the time told.

The people that work at the facility are very friendly, polite and helpful. However, I have yet to move in to my storage space because it is still unavailable. Unfortunately, there is something wrong with the gate in the RV storage area. So I am waiting patiently for that to be repaired so that I can move my RV to a more convenient, secure and clean storage facility.

Somehow when I paid for them, they were on the third floor unknowingly. Caused major headaches with the movers and had to pay extra.

Drivers lic has a po box and said I needed a physical adress, just sold my home & no physical adress, then insurance ,said I needed insurance !! 1st time took load to unit, it was wet on floor & very humid in building & hours were supposed to be til 10pm but it was locked at 6;30 pm & no acess!! The supervisor was very rude & snoby !!

I have already referred another family member and they have also gone in to rent a unit. This facility does not even show up on your own locations search yet.

Packed up got there… the units are NOT ready! In fact they are “hoping” to get inspection and have the grand opening Friday…. So am I paying for rent right now and unable to even use it???? 😡

GM Andy was very welcoming and threw in free month storage and free lock (FYI lock inside store, not on locker) to make up for no trucks on-site yet. Codi was very patient as I looked up details like insurance agents name and phone number. One stop shopping and fresh secure facility are worth the drive and price (which is comparable to others).
