First and mostly important to me at the time being able to rent a U-Haul one-way well no one even though I made my first reservation for a round trip in IRONTON on 13 May for the 23rd to pick the truck up on the 23rd the day before I was supposed to pick the truck up I was told I no longer would be able to run a round trip trip trip I would have to bring the truck back to the location that the truck was assigned to and top things off when I drop the truck back off at the location and I made sure that the gas is where it was supposed to be the next day. U-Haul still bring bills made for $8.04 They didn’t give one rats ask care about me. All I wanted was a damn truck.

U-Haul should not be price gouging.
Mark AAbsolutely do not use U-Haul. I was lied to about how much the actual charge would be for the truck was suppose to only be 75 charged me 163. I was told the pickup I rented requires a 100 deposit but would receive that back after return of truck do to those truck being stolen but I did not receive that back, also returned truck almost two hours earlier then required and was charged for 9 miles more then my estimated miles driven which was a lie my trip was only 44 miles I put down 50 but was charged for 59 miles and went nowhere different then exact route planned out. Was told a manager would call me about my dispute over the miss information given on the 100 deposit and have still yet to receive a call, that was 7 days ago.
DEVIN FI have used this uhaul place a couple times. I always schedule for a pickup in ironton and always get switched last minute to this location. Last time when I went to pick up uhaul it wasn't even there and they were closed so I had to go thru all that. Then this time I get there and they don't have an appliance dolly I scheduled for, the trucks side mirror wouldn't stay in so I couldn't even see behind me while driving or backing up. The 2 guys inside were friendly atleast and very helpful. They also got my drop off moved closer for me. And rusty at the main office was also friendly and very helpful.

JASON KThe truck smelled like cigarettes, and the box was wet inside. I was given no instructions on how to properly return the truck, so I parked it back where I found it after hours and dropped the keys in the drop box. I had to call U-Haul corporate on the next business day to confirm I was finished with the truck and avoid further charges. I also did not receive the dolly I had reserved, and had to make another trip back to the store to get it. No one would answer the phone, but every time I was inside the location, the employees were just sitting around talking.

YVETTE TFantastic site to pick up. Friendly staff and plenty of space. Note: UHaul from here was the cleanest I have ever utilized. I had a terrible experience in Springfield OH a few years ago and vowed I would never use UHaul again. Didn't get any help from UHaul nor the site which refused to return any phone calls regarding the complaint. The Ashland site helped regain confidence.

BRIAN KThe person who checked in the trailer was quite inexperienced. He didn't seem familiar with the locking device on the trailer tongue, not understanding that it was screwed up and down and there was a locking mechanism to keep it tight. He also seemed confused with the two safety chains and the hooks. I was rather surprised, since he said he had been working there for two months already. Maybe he needs his supervisor to train or retrain him in this area. He is twenty years old and seemed rather "green".

THERESA HArrived at 915 worker said he got bit help me due to having to unload boxes and he was the only one there. He had the door locked. I had a reservation through the app and had to wait 20-25 minutes. After I got in when he unlocked the door he was cussing and complaining the whole check out. The trailer he gave me was broken the gate was one side the latch was broke
BRIAN SI had a reservation to pick up trailer at 7:00 in the morning and nobody was there, place closed. I went back at 8:00 and again at 8:30 and no one was there, closed. Then I called the u-haul number to find out what was going on. After another half hour the manager finally shows up. Got the trailer and left. Not happy!

LaDosha MThis location was great but my original pickup location they didn’t have the key to the truck I need a 15 ft so I had to drive back over to Ashland for 10 ft it was huge pain tbh and made it take few more trips but oh well the second location was nice. Oh yeah the app kept crashing when trying to return the truck so I’m not sure if that was done properly and couldn’t get anybody on the phone to verify. It was a hassle but thanks for the services lol.
Ryan HThe paperwork I received showed the gas tank at half empty. When I got into the truck and checked it, it was closer to 1/3 full. I drove a total of 17 miles and had to spend $25 in gas to get it up to where the paperwork I received said it was and to avoid an additional $5 per gallon to fill it back up to the half-way mark. That was my only complaint. On the bright side, the AC unit was incredible! My Cadillac doesn't even have an AC that works that good!

Brandon TI had a issue with the gas gage. It didn't go above half tank until it shut off because it was full. Due to that I had to add aprox $30 more in gas then what was needed to fill back to the line I was told to bring it back on.

Jerrie SWe picked up a 6x12 trailer, everything was great til we went to pick it up. Through no fault of their own, the reservation software that they were using wasn’t working! After about 30 minutes they finally got the rental to go through, but at a higher price than what was quoted to me on the app! Then on the trip back home it was raining, we were transporting electronics, luckily nothing was damaged, but the trailer was leaking in the front drivers side corner! Nothing was damaged, but it could have been disastrous for us!!
