I was very disappointed the young lady had took care of us in the morning when we purchased was very helpful went above & beyond the young lady that was there for drop off was very rude & was a little demeanor had an attitude when we got there & asked who attached equipment we didn’t & immediately started bad mouthing the young lady & even called her & so rude so it makes you wonder if you want to come vack

TODD MYour front desk person insisted that I had to have insurance because no insurance company covered rented trailers. In fact, I have premium Progressive insurance and it specifically DOES cover rented trailers. Either this person was undertrained by your organization or was intentionally forcing me to take the insurance, in which case it was a malicious act. In either case, UHaul is responsible for this employee forcing me to take the $30.00 insurance. Is it your policy that everyone MUST take the insurance?

DESHAWN GRental was great. The particular trailer we got had some loose bolts on the door hinge. Didn’t cause a problem, but required the bottom of the door to be pushed in to close correctly.

MARIANO RWe did not open the door to the trailer until we were ready to load and found a strong smell of gasoline. I had to mop the floor three times and had an industrial fan air out the trailer for two hours to remove that strong smell of gasoline. Fortunately, the staff at the Bellwood, Illinois was excellent.

Linda MThe cargo van that i received was not clean on the inside. It smelled like wet dog and there was dog hair and wet stains all over the black mat in the front and back. It appeared as if the previous renter transported a bunch of animals and it wasn't cleaned before I received the vehicle. It was the only cargo van on the lot so I just took it because I didn't have time to try and find another at a different location. When I got the vehicle home, I tried to sweep out some of the dog hair but it still smelled horrible on the on the inside. I rent cargo vans often and this by far was the worst rental I've ever received from Uhaul.

Michael PDissatisfied. Being charged twice is unacceptable. This probably will be my last time using U-Haul as a service. Not happy. There is no reason why I was charged for my actual usage and then when I checked out I’m charged again for the same usage.

JOE PExperience was good. Price and convenience was way better than Home Depot by comparison ($10 for an entire day versus $21 for four hours). Being able to keep it overnight was convenient, because we were doing the moving late into the evening.
riley dI had to change trucks 3 times. The first one had trash, ashes and garbage all in it when I opened the door. It looked as if someone has been squatting in it. I went back inside and alerted the attendant Kevin. The 2nd truck's driver side door didn't close all the way and the truck just drove terrible. Then on top of that, once the needed items were loaded, the back door was jammed from the latch being stuck on an area of the top of the truck. I had to drive the 2nd truck back to Uhaul with my items in the back and the door up in order to swap out yet a 3rd truck. The 3rd truck had no gas in it and was at the E already! Very TERRIBLE experience and I'm still charged over $70 for this terrible service! The only good thing is that Kevin was patient and honest. This location needs some serous help!
Lynda LI rented a truck and the person inside stated the truck was half full but it wasn’t,it was just under half full so when I returned it I filled it to the same mark. I showed the clerk the gas receipt and he still charged me an extra $15.

Shaver ALarry Graham was super helpful and very kind. He made our move in and move out days seamless and easy and brought tons of positive energy. This facility has multiple units of different sizes, we were able to pull our truck by the door for loading and unloading, and we had access to two full size carts for moving both times. Went inside the lobby and wasn’t greeted by anyone, called the store while I was inside and still no one showed up. When the lady (who was sleeping) finally woke, she was grumpy and told me the store was closing at 4pm, the sign on door said 5pm close on Sunday. The storage unit & locks were dilapidated and not very clean. I’m worried about my storage items being kept cleaned & pest free. All in all the experience at this location was not well received and after I get my things out, I’ll avoid this location at all cost and advise others do the same. 0/5 stars if possible.
