The manager didn’t allow me to rent two Dollie’s, she said she needed them for other costumers, made my move out the worst experience, they also said the only one I used wasn’t delivered she. I did leave it tied up, it’s not my problem if after that it was taken. But by far this is my worst experience in moving out.
Daniela JU-Haul needs to build in more flexibility for hourly extensions, especially for issues like traffic or unforeseen delays. Maya came across as short in her responses, but she was also constrained by the rigid phone check-in system.

Angelica Rthe truck had an issue where it would not come out of park and something was wrong with the linkage. we almost didnt make it to our destination becuase of it. also i was forced to pick the truck up over an hour away from my house, then had to get a trailer at a completely different town the next day, as they didnt let me pick them up at the same time, and then that also messed with ther return time due to that. then when i went to return the vehicles they wanted me to initially take them to two different locations in tucson. the trailer to one and the truck to another. overall if it wasnt for a man i spoke to who called his sister who worked at the offices of uhaul, that i wasnt charged a lot of extra money for mistakes made by uhaul. in the past ive always used penske. never once had an issue. i spent almost all day on the phone and at a uhaul center trying to just to see about getting things returned and the truck looked at. i believe ill be staying with penske, who btw is a lot cheaper on top of that by almost 700 dollars for the equivalent of what i rented here for almost 3 grand. this is way to much money to be spent for both the quality and the treatment i had. most of the lines i call all have ai or robot answering services who keep telling you to use the app on your phone, and real customer service is non existent. even the lady i spoke to at the office told me she couldnt help me and to chat with someone on my phone via text msg. seriously? h0onestly ill be surprised at the lowering of your customer service doesn't cost you in the long run with your business. NOT happy - and im not even a cali karen. lol im thankful two of the folks there we kind enough to finally help get me and my family out of there, but uhaul as a whole is hideious.

SHERRY TFor once I'd like to get the trailer i ordered or reserved! at the location it says it's at !!!! i reserved a Motorcycle trailer at the new Green Valley location, the next day I received a call saying i needed to pick my trailer up at the Benson location 25 mins from my house instead of 5 !!!! when i got there the staff was nice and helpful , when i went to hook up the trailer they gave me a 5x9 utility trailer as this was all they had not a Motorcycle Trailer as i had reserved !!! The Rear Ramp on the 5x9 is to short and the frame of my 2015 Harley Davidson Road Glide was scraped and the paint damaged !!! I returned the trailer on Sunday and the Young man was very nice and quick as not to hold me up and i didn't want to bother him with my concern as it was Easter Sunday and im sure he wanted to get home to his family and not hear my concerns!!!! This will be the last time i rent from U Haul and their attitude of Good Enough !!!

Tilahun LClerk at Marathon was mice, but out of her depth on the return. I note she did not check condition of the vehicle and trailer I returned. Didn’t check fuel or mileage, or for any other sort of abuse. A supervisor (man from Pakistan?) was curt with the female clerk. His attitude toward women should be vetted.

PETER SHello, This was by far the worse experience I had dropping off a u haul. We arrived over an hour early to my drop off time to the location I was to drop off the vehicle. There was no one inside the building. We were the only ones inside. Soon after three more customers came in and after about 15 minutes final a lady who was not in a good mood complaining about a pulled groin muscle by the name of Myra Sanchez whose shirt said she was the general manager asked who was next. We told the gentleman who was behind us to go ahead because he was just buying something there and when he was asking her questions she was coming off a little rude with him. He had told her she should have more help there with it being a busy place and she snapped at him and said well everyone just calls in and quits so it's just me and another person. When it was finally our turn, I told her we were there to drop off a truck she immediately started arguing with me saying the truck wasn't there. I said yes it is. She said I don't see it on the camera. I said it's right there where it says to park them but you have too many parked there. She then says oh I see the back end. She then starts yelling and embarrassing me and the other person I was there with saying this is a one way truck I'm not taking this truck. Instead of getting my name and looking at my reservation to see that my original reservation was supposed to be a pick up with them and got switched to another place and then to be dropped off with them like I originally had planned she would have seen this but she say there for 5 minutes yelling at me telling me she wasn't taking the truck because it's a one way truck. I then pulled up my reservation and showed her and she still wouldn't take my truck. She then made a phone call to someone and said " hey I have this one way truck here, hold on let me look at the account for it. Yes it says it's supposed to be dropped off here. Okay so I can take it here. Okay. Yeah girl, my groin is killing me. I can barely walk or stand. I don't want to be here today.Okay I will talk to you later. Bye " she then says let me have the keys and says I will be right back. Now in the notes it states I'm paying the extra day with a different card. I made sure to have that out I to the notes by two different people. While she was out there she tries to run my card and comes back in. "Your card didn't go through!" I told her " yes I know because in the notes it says I would be paying a different way because someone else was covering the extra day." Her reply " may I have your card? I cant give you a receipt because I don't know how to work this printer to fix it. You will have to come back another day." I asked her if she would be emailing me a receipt she said yes and she has yet to ever email me a receipt. Which I need because someone else paid for that day. Myra definitely should not be a manager for this uhual company by any means. Her demeanor towards anyone that day was horrible. To be argumentive as soon as a customer comes in returning a vehicle and not even pulling up their account to see the notes but continues to argue with them in front of other people is not someone who should be in a manager position in my opinion. I will definitely think twice before using u haul for a y future services after this experience.

MANUEL ZI have rented Uhuals in Tucson Arizona, at many locations and all of them have been great except this location. Whenever I ask for a cargo van they tell me I need a major credit card not a major debit card, while the other locations around town accept my bank debit card through Bank of America. This location also requires a 100 deposit for any Uhual you rent due to the “area” they are located, while the others don’t. It just made my experience not a good one due to being short of funds and not getting the same experience from the company that all the locations provide. Different rules at this location

ANGEL NI did mobile check out and the app would not save any photos I took. I didn't have time to continue and kept trying to complete the inspection photos but they wouldn't upload. I distinctly noticed the gas at 3/4 full but again could not complete the photos. When I returned the truck I filled it to 3/4 but was told it was full when I picked up. It was most definitely not full. Just frustrating that I had to pay more because the app was not working.

EDUARD SHonestly it took quite a while To get in and out after reserving vehicle and trailer online and then checking in online I was there right when it opened and there were three people working with 2 people ahead of me and I still had to get through paperwork and they don’t tell you you need a credit card on the app when you reserve a pick up…I tried to use my debit card can’t sais either debit or cc on arrival so …..I couldn’t get the vehicle I reserved but luckily the smallest box truck is the same price….anyways …all in all everything worked out .staff is hella friendly…once things got into motion I was very impressed by the staff…so ..kudos to the staff for saving this reviews stars!!great job guys.

Edward hI understand the process of taking pictures before and after, as there was a homeless person present. I didn’t feel safe taking pictures in the dark, when I picked up the U-Haul, I had to move it forward before taking pictures and had to take the pictures in the dark also. I didn’t know I would be charged for an after hour fee. I will not rent again after hours, due to the fee and the homeless and the process of picking up a truck in the dark.

The computers we're very slow and the line grew to nine people long. That location needs another manager and U-Haul needs a better operating system on their computers

JOHNNY PThe trailer equipment were wore out and didn't work. The front wheel ratcheting strap ratchets were broken. The straps became loose during transportation, which could've resulted in the vehicle being transported coming loose. That in itself is a safety hazard. I had to stop and re-secure the ratcheting straps during transportation. The license plate was severely damaged also to a point where the plate was barely legible.

Telling her employee to just give me the 800 number. All the employees I dealt with were awesome. The manager on the other hand was horrible. Didn’t care nor could she be bothered. When I pulled my RV out, the gate got stuck. It was hanging half open and the office was unaware it was broken. How can you consider this lot secure??

Once my keycard didn't work and the office was a good 100 yards from the entrance. the person at the front desk must have sent me back to the gate 3 times with "try it now" before they manually opened it for. should have done that in the beginning was a bout a half hour I was waiting to get in. I also emailed the manager 3 times with no response over a 2 week period to cancel the unit when I moved out. Then also called a week before the renewal to tell them I had moved out weeks earlier. The person on the phone said it was closed. then I got an email 2 days after renewal to say I had a late fee. Then called and got another person who I think finally closed it out. so 3 emails and 2 calls just to get it closed.

My issue with this facility, and the reason for the lower rating is the challenge in redeeming the free month of storage u-haul offers. They claim at 90% they don’t have to honor the contract you have yet a call to corporate and they will tell you that is NOT the policy. End result is, after several calls and a couple hours time to corporate, they honored my contract.
