Before I took the trailer, they were able to help ensure it was in tiptop shape before my trip. Also, there was a lovely lady who helped me with a blown fuse in my truck. She was really knowledgeable and was able to diagnose it quickly. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in the area and looking for a U-Haul.
Scott WWe pulled up to drop off our rental and waited in the car, as the signage said. No one came out. Went in to find 5 people standing around doing nothing. There were even cameras in the drop off location.

Susan DThe 20ft I reserved was not available at this location. I was forced to get a 26ft that was a gas guzzler. The ABS lights and traction control lights kept going on and could not use cruise control half the trip. It was a horrible experience!

From the initial point of contact, the customer service was top notch. I was states away but they made me feel right at home. I would highly recommend this location.

David BWhen I first started my rental of the storage unit, I was paying $108/month. I was given a discount, as it was explained to me, for being a frequent renter of trailers and other equipment and also being a veteran. Not only did the price gradually increase $20, but the tipping point for me moving out of the storage unit I was renting, was when I received a call informing me that I was losing the discount for no real reason, which increased the monthly rent to $149 + tax. I only had access to the secure lot for certain hours, and 24/7 access was an extra fee. I have another unit, SAME DIMENSIONS, with true 24/7 access, for $75/month. Also, after the first winter I was in the Uhaul unit, when the thaw came in the spring, the unit flooded and was 2” deep of water. Of course, insurance against stuff like that was another extra fee. I am truly disappointed in the false advertising, and removal of the discount I was getting. They SAY they appreciate their customers, but ultimately ended up losing this one. There were times that they also would put their lock on my unit without any warning if my payment was a couple days late. The competing storage facility I still rent from, was much more flexible on every level ive previously mentioned. I would not recommend using this location for those reasons.

Costed me more time and more money that should have because people don't listen to the customer. I will never use Uhaul Uboxes again looks to be cheaper than PODS but in the long run it cost more and way more frustrations mostly when they attach 1 out of the 2 boxes to another person and try to double collect on the bill can you say scam and there was no compensation offered or given even though I spent hours on the phone resolving Uhaul issues that uhaul made. Scumbag company

JOSEPH SYou guises customer service sucks and it says on your website you can extend the drop off time. Apparently you have to pay for a whole Nother trailer again just to be able to use it without late fees. These guys truly suck. I wouldn’t use them if my life depended on it.

SHUIQUAN LWhen the AC was turned on, it smelled like someone had thrown up in the cab, but only when the AC was blowing. Otherwise the truck was fairly clean. The dolly I paid to use, was cracked in several place and would hardly even roll. It was worthless to me, yet I was still charged for it. When I made the reservation online it was quoted at $47 and when I arrived to pick up the vehicle and dolly, I was informed it was going to be over $80. I don't understand such a large difference. The truck got the job done but the overall experience was frustrating and I will probably look for services elsewhere the next time I need them.

KENDALL AI had a pick up truck reservation for September 3rd at 8 am at the east 2nd st location and upon arrival I was told the pickup was at a different location, I don't have a vehicle and the other location was to far for me to walk as I am disabled but the uhaul representative first called the other location to confirm the pickup truck was there then asked another associate if they would drive me to the other location approximately 1.5 miles and they drove me and made sure the pickup truck was ready for me. Splendid service above and beyond.

JONNA HThe truck I used seemed to have an issue with front end drift, to the point it was a little concerning. I didn’t have to go far, otherwise I would have asked for a replacement. I used to work for U-Haul a long time ago, I get it that local trucks are used a lot more, therefore they are not the best on the lot. Maybe have someone drive them once in a while.
Matthew FSome things you could do to improve for the next customer is make sure the truck has more than 1/4 of gas in the tank, ensure you have the correct truck size requested from the customer and communicate earlier if you are not going to have the correct truck size available.
BETHANY SEvery time I turned around I owed 350 to 500 dollars. I was paying so much for this storage that with late fees I would never catch up I ended up losing my storage than 3 mos later they asked if I wanted to still get my storage I guess it didn’t sell at auction. But I would have to pay late fees and the last 3 mos a total of 1700 when I had just gotten over losing it now I could get over it again thanks U-Haul for rubbing it in again and again

Needless to say not impressed when someone doesn’t genuinely care or respects someone enough to let them know they ruined the cap by ripping it apart from the loop.

I'm glad that I got our families stuff out of there and moved elsewhere with our storage needs. I have heard awful things about Uhaul and ignored the red flags well everything I heard was correct. Uhaul is the most ridiculous storage to rent through. Always threatening to auction off units due to the ridiculous fees added all the time. I feel like I paid and got caught up but then it magically showed up I still owed, Uhaul is the worst storage place I have ever dealt with.

There had never been any electrical service to my unit as the GFI had been popped. Amber was great to help resolve the problem, however, that does not remedy the fact that I never received what I was paying for during the 3 months my unit was in storage. Very disappointing.

The storage unit recommend was correct for the size for what we needed. The rubber seal used to completely close off the door from the elements, in this case snow, was damaged and not secure to the concrete resulting in our items within getting some snow on them. We did let U-Haul staff know when we first rented the unit and had not been fixed before move out date. Weather conditions (snow storm) is likely the reason. Move out was an easy process and Brenden Chivers was friendly and patient explaining the receipt sent via email the day after.

Do not waste your money on storage here. You are better off throwing your stuff away and buying new unfortunately. But if you do I suggest you buy their insurance because you’ll need it.

I understand that this is a UHAUL policy but I feel that when a customer is receiving a vehicle to use for moving the gas tank should have a full tank of gas to start with. I agree that it should be the customer's responsibility to fill the tank up to what they started with but feel that customers receiving a truck should have a full tank of gas to start with.

Overall, I would have given Uhaul a poor rating due to the lack of communication from the corporate online system to the local Uhaul stores. The online system does not communicate to local stores when customers reserve storage units. I almost did not have a unit to put my items in when I showed up to the store. However, I did get lucky that someone had vacated a unit in the size that I needed the night before which I was able to rent. Mike made the frustrating experience much more pleasant to deal with.

daric c | Overall ExperienceI rented two units a few days apart. When it came time for me to check out of the first unit I confused the dates of the first unit with the date of second unit. When I had scheduled my movers tHe weather was. Dangerous with ice and wind that we postponed for a few days. I stopped by the office to check the date I had to be out. The wind was so bad (70+ mph) that the office door was blocked. I didn’t see any note saying how to enter and the young man behind the desk acted like he could care less about me. Long story short I was charged $40 additional dollars because I didn’t return the locker until Thursday even though I was out on Monday. The emails I received where for the second unit. This after I rented two 10X15 units, spent over $250 on boxes and supplies. I can’t control the weather anymore than you can but ice and snow removal are your responsibility. Am I disappointed you charged me an extra $40…yes, enough I probably won’t use you or recommend your services. Most of the staff were very friendly unfortunately it only takes one or two to ruin your experience.

Nothing was ever fixed just blamed it on the camper being to new and drawing to much power. The increase in rent when all you get is dry storage is outlandish. I will never recommend and will direct to other facilities with similar services.

The office is large and well stocked and everybody is extremely helpful and patient. All types of hitch equipment if you need any. I enthusiastically recommend this U-Haul facility. Leanna L | Overall ExperienceThe storage units assigned to me both had a negative drainage issue. Melting snow would run into the units, then freeze on the floor as temperatures dropped at night. Water/ice was present in both units for the majority of the time I stored items in them in January through March. Staff were aware of the issue, yet still rented these units out. Check out required two visits in person and one phone call before staff were able to close the reservation for my last unit.

The website allowed me to reserve a 40' space but when I checked in no such sites were available. The staff were very helpful and friendly in trying to resolve this glitch.

lenord b | Overall ExperienceThe only downside I had in my experience was the broken glass and scattered screws near the unit. It wasn't inside the unit, but my tires are at risk when I drive up to drop things off. Other than that, it's been super easy and a great facility!
Sarah J | Online Move InInitially we were happy storing our travel trailer because it was covered and we had electricity. We parked it there, a brand new 2020 trailer, never used, in April of this year because it could be plugged in and paid $90 a month for the security and electricity. All was ok until August. We went to put things in and the trailer was dead, batteries dead. We were told "well, it was most likely the 5th wheels there, when the owners come in they use too much electricity and blow the lines". We we're upset but an employee assured us that they would fix the line we were plugged into and check over the next several days. We went back three weeks later, having trusted them, to find the same thing and again the same excuse, blaming the 5th wheel owners. After complaining in the office, again, we went back to our trailer to remove it from this location and a worker came to the trailer and ultimately tried to blame us by saying "you must have left something on" which we did not but, still, we checked again, as we did weeks before and nothing was on. He then moved our plug to another post and lo and behold it worked! So, their fault, not ours. They don't check the lines to make sure you have electricity but they charge you for it. Also, when we said we were done there and will be leaving, the employee at the front closed our account, brought us the fob to exit and said if we went past 7 pm, when they close, he'd wait for us. We got to the gate at 7:04 pm, the fob didn't work, I walked up to the office so we could get out and, lo and behold, he was gone!! We then called the manager Amy and luckily got her but then had to wait a half hour plus for her to get there to let us out. When I tried to tell her the issues, she basically said we don't check your trailer, I said your employee said he would and she said, of course, who said that, which I didn't take names and wish I had. When I told her how they blamed the 5th wheelers for over loading the lines, she said that's not true, I have my trailer here and it never happens. When I said I'd send her an email with pictures of how the line worked on another post, she said I don't want them, send them to the president of the company. She absolutely did not care! She didn't offer even a partial refund for us not having electricity. She just basically shut me off and referred me to someone who isnt even present at the site! What started out great turned sour quickly when we saw how little they cared about our storage unit but we're ok with taking the money every month so don't expect much if you store anything at this location but I would check your unit all the time if I were you!

I was given an access card but the machine to use the card was not working until 7 months after we rented. Right until the last week of this rental, we had to get a key from the office to access our storage unit. We could not use it after work or on weekends early in the morning. This was not as promised or advertised when we rented it. Now that they have the access cards, its great but for 7 months it was not good.
