PETER SThe place was deserted when I arrived. Not closed, just nobody on site. I wasn’t sure on the drop off process, so I waited 30 minutes and call the main line a couple of times for guidance, but just kept going in circles. So I just dropped it. Maybe that is the process, but very surprised the place was deserted, but unlocked and open. Not what I wanted to do in the rain. I really hope I don’t get some sketchy charge for this.

JAMES JWhen you ask people to pay a deposit, make sure they are told about it upfront. Nobody said anything until I went to pick up the U-Haul and was told then I was told I could pick up my truck for the deposit. The next day it would be at the U-Haul center, so I came back to the U-Haul center only to be told that they made a mistake and mailed it out.

The logistics manager, called to give me updates on the delay of delivery; which ended up being only a couple of hours. The driver who dropped off the box was Kimberly; she parked the Ubox while going around three landscaping trucks. Damn impressive.

CHAYANNE ROverall well-maintained love the location however, there was ice on the bottom of the inside, where you walk and where you stack so it made it very hazardous and slippery, which would make it difficult for the reason that you rent it Also if someone was injured, because of said ice that would not be a good reflection of maintenance on a U-Haul rental Thank you

He made my experience there a great one and spent a good amount of time assisting me and never once did he make me feel like I was a bother, which is different than my experiences with other Uhauls near my home. He was knowledgeable and patient and always made me feel like I could go to him for help/questions I had. He is what made my experience a good one. He’s extremely kind and easy to talk to. I would rent again from this location if I was closer solely on the fact that he had top notch customer service and he never made me feel dumb when I didn’t understand something. I hope to rent from you guys if I move up to Greenbay but for now I had a great experience with you guys. Thank you.

We discontinued the use of our storage unit because the price went to $44.95 per month for a 5 x 10 ft upstairs unit. Just the previous October, the sign price was $29.95. But when my husband and I then requested a rental unit, the computer had the price at $39.95. We were annoyed at the inaccurate pricing signage. We went with it, but now feel that after only one year that it was too soon for another price hike. If costs don’t matter to you like they matter to us, U Haul is a very nice place to keep your things.

Instead of a 2 step system, I'd recommend setting up a system that automatically locks and sets the alarm for each unit after its closed and unopened for 15 minutes. So Instead of sliding your card or entering a code twice, the first time you slide the card or enter the code should disarm the alarm as well as allow entry into the building. Also there's some great income revenue lost. As i was working unliading my truck, all i wanted was a bubbly beverage. I reccomend adding a vending machine at the entrance as people are coming in and out.
RICHARD F | Online Move InI had to fight and verify repeatedly a payment made for 4 months back in February and April. I even called 2 weeks ago to try to verify my current status with payment and whether or not they recognized and acknowledged that payment for $160 in April. The gentleman was nice however had no idea what I was talking about. He called the manager and never called me back which is about the fourth time that has happened. I even had the manager talk to the bank manager to verify that the payment was made. During that 3 to 4 month. I was not allowed access to my unit whatsoever. Yet they want me to continue making payments while this matter was being reviewed. The review took literally forever and I still don't like I said no the results. I have left my debit card number yet nothing has come out. Now I receive a notice email that on August 2nd there was a move out date. I have no clue but I presumed they have sold and confiscated everything. I am disabled and have difficulty getting from point A to B yet had to repeatedly go down to talk to the manager who is very nice however nothing seemed to ever get resolved. I have spoken to several other staff and personnel that have answered the phone because the local U-Haul self-storage rarely answers themselves and normally I get someone else from another location. Please verify if you must. If my belongings have been sold and that unit has been seized and auctioned off I will definitely pursue what my legal options are regarding this matter. You are more than welcome to verify all of my many Communications. None of those are going to include the many times I had to physically go down to the office and try to talk to someone who could help. All they kept telling me was that the matter was under review by the home office and upon resolution they would let me know. I am disappointed to say the least. The lady that ran the local storage facility was very nice however that doesn't help me whatsoever in recovering the cost of what I had in storage if they indeed did auction off the contents of the unit. The older staff member was training a new hire, but kept being corrected on new things by the medium staff member, like multiple access cards and such. The old one knew his stuff and was friendly enough, the medium one knowledgeable and confident, and the newest one was funnily enough trying to keep it together between the back and forth. The part that struck me as exceptional was the older one was willing to learn! He wasn't "well that's not how I do things" about stuff. He listened and learned as well as the new kid.

There was no lock in the unit when I opened it and she said to take a lock from the office to put in on the unit which I didn’t know was included. This experience so far is a lot different than the one I had with one of the moving trucks.

We had believed we were set up for auto pay on the locker, but we were locked out the first time we tried to access the unit. We had to stop in again and get the late fee removed which also was a hassle. The unit is great, the building is clean - just lots of system issues that seem avoidable.

We were told we could have a storage 10x20. We were not told it was on the 2nd floor until later in the process. We live in De Pere and want to use our local businesses. We did not get what we reserved. We got two 10x10's. All we had was furniture to store, no boxes. The poor movers had a very difficult time moving the furniture up the elevator and thru the storage area. You put us way down the hall in the last lane in the back of the building. This was a move into U-haul storage that should have taken less than an hour but it took 3 hours. It was ridiculous. Everyone was exhausted. We understand storage is big business but we did not get what we expected.

However if you rent more than one unit the security system will not be able to link multiple units to the same account despite what the staff may say or try to do. When we would enter the storage facility and open one of the units other than our first unit we would set off the security alarm which would result in an ear splitting sound that destroys your hearing. It got to the point where we would simply keep ear plugs in both of our cars to protect our ears because we knew we were going to set off the security alarm despite our best efforts not to do so.
