MICHAEL WVehicle had terrible odor which we had to endure for 15 hour drive. Mirrors were loose and required constant readjustment and was an actually safety hazard for any type of trip but especially a long one from Denver to tucson. It required manually rolling down the window and moving the mirror while driving. Unbelievably sketchy. To make matters worse when having to roll down the window to adjust the mirror the smell of the manure was somehow made worse. I just setup a corporate account with Uhaul and after this experience I’m left asking myself if I well ever use Uhaul again

Dennis VWas told and giving paper work said it had a full tank it was just under 1/4 shy of full plus i had to add 1.5 qts of oil never had to do that before i left for a 2000 mile road trip also the truck also had a bad alignment it pulls to the right didnt really noticed it until i was driving on the freeway heading to Florida it made driving more interesting

MICHAEL DRenting the storage unit online was super easy and a pleasant experience. When my son arrived to move in items, there was no lock that was supposed to be included for free and left inside the unit. I called customer service since the office was closed and asked for them to reach out to the location and put a lock in the unit as soon as they opened. When my son arrived the next day, the lock was not there and an alarm went off when he tried to open the unit. He was told he had to pay $10 for a lock, but eventually was given one. He was also told there is a keypad to use to avoid the alarm going off. When he asked about the location of the keypad, he was told to look at a map instead of being shown where it is.

Robert GPrior renter was a smoker and unfortunately, I had the nauseating experience of breathing that pulmonary excrement which was infused in the AC and ventilation ducts for the entire 1,000 journey. I am sure they “opened the windows “ when they smoked as a supreme act of “they will never notice “. Really?!?! I realize UHaul has no control over the entitled inconsideration of prior renters. Nonetheless, the equipment was otherwise clean and well maintained prior to my pickup

Long story short, the sales associate made up for it and I was satisfied with the outcome. I also had a question and it was promptly answered and correct information was given when i called the number given to me. I have rented from U-HAUL in the past and have never been disappointed. 5 stars all the way!!!

DIANA PThis location didn't have the extra equipment I ordered and when I asked about it I was told "That sucks I don't know what you want me to do about it". Maybe train your employees to have a better additude when I comes to helping customers and when someone orders equipment 4 days in advance maybe try to make sure the equipment is there and ready when it's suppose to be.

The general manager Adam was also was very helpful with all my questions that I asked. We noticed the storage areas were very clean and plenty of rolling carts were available. AMBER HMy only comment here is that I used Waze to get there as I’m not familiar with the area and it took me to an adjacent hotel parking lot with no way to get into U-Haul lot, there was a gate but it was closed and locked with a chain. I know this isn’t your fault but perhaps someone could try to contact Waze to see if directions could be updated. This is obviously know by staff Bethell person who helped me said they had the same issue one their first day working there.

RHONDA G | Overall ExperienceAn issue about the Dollie’s was resolved nicely. The app told me that my reservation for the tools was available to I drove to a different location than normal expecting everything to be available and ready(just like the app said it would if I went to this location). They didn’t have any of the Dollie’s available. Since they charged me for them already I had to go to a different location across town to pick them up. They reimbursed me for the mileage and also helped me by extending the rental for another few hours since I got rained out. Overall good experience

TANISHA AI was extremely disappointed that Uhaul did not tell me that the truck I had rented did not have a ball extended out far enough to attach to an Aframe consumer grade flatbed trailer. I wound up wasting $700 on a rental that didn't work. The staff was great but they wasted a lot of my money by not asking me the type of connection.

It’s simply because visiting my storage as a woman on my own I didn’t always feel comfortable. This could be improved with a locked gate around the storage lot accessible with the key. This is the 3rd day in a row that I have not received this access as requested and now I'm truly stuck in a bind. I have to get my move completed immediately and I have to return the uhail truck I rented. I cannot do either because it's currently full because I cannot seem to unload it. I've scanned the QR code as directed and each day it said campaign was full. I've messaged the facility manager 3 times and have yet to receive a response. I also spoke with u-haul customer service. Why is this so difficult? I'm truly frustrated and disappointed.

John S | Overall ExperienceIt is 2024 and Uhaul cannot figure out how to charge people for partial month rent or pro-rate the rent based on a 12 day stay? I got charged a full month rent for a unit on Jan18, vacated the unit on Jan 31, and was told UHaul computers are not capable of refunding unused days. I’m going to call BS on that one too. Uhaul charges customers who are paying premium prices using their storage facilities and renting their trucks to throw trash in their trash bins? I’m going to call BS on that one also. The mob would be proud of the racket that UHaul has set up. There are nowhere near enough dollies and carts set up for folks to use for the size of the facility . The only reason I left an “average” rating is because the facility itself is very nice and clean.

I figured I’d be renting storage space for 3, maybe 4 months, max. Then, wham! My new rental deal fell apart, as the home owner moved her kids into the home. Suddenly, I was very happy that I moved stuff into storage, as I was moving in with family. The uhaul location was great as it was close to work, and easy to access off of I-10. The facility was absolutely clean. There were no creepy crawlies, no funky smells, no water damage to floors or walls that might give me pause as to whether or not my own stuff was at risk. It’s been great! On the handful of times, I had a question about something, the staff were helpful. I appreciate good customer service. Now, almost two years to the day I put stuff in storage, I emptied the unit out. I’m a homeowner! ~ Thanks, UHaul!!!

I have been with you for two years...walking into my storage area and finding homeless people inside and locking themselves in the bathrooms. After speaking to your staff nothing was done about it. You employes in fact just shrug their shoulders when I told him. When I paid for a storage unit, climate control and yet I walk in and its about 90 degrees. Is that temperature controlled? I have been a business owner for years and I have NEVER dealt with such unorganized people in my life. You as a company need to train your employees from completion of reservation, and completeness of contract. Lack of security in "locked storage" and your employees are showing a lack of business customer service. I will be sharing my thoughts about this and will never recommend you. I will not contact the storage unit as this is an issue with uhaul in itself. I wish you luck in staying in this business. People are not in a way to deal with this stuff right now...Shameful.
SHEILA D | Overall ExperienceHad an online reservation that got sold out from under me with no notice. When I made another reservation, it was for a 10x15 unit. Was notified day of the reservation (while my truck was en route) that all they had available was a 10x10. Staff was exceptionally rude and disrespectful, to the point of laughing at us over the phone. Manager was unrepentant and even threatened to cancel our reservation and contract when we contacted him. If we had another option, we would have gladly gone elsewhere, but we were already out 700 dollars on the truck and crew we hired. Very poor service. Uhaul has burned its bridges here and this is the last service I will ever hired from them again. Telling everyone I know the same.

Lights keep going out when working in locker. Manager "Jenna" treats customers as if they are an inconvenience for her. She is also disrespectful to the other employees. ("Scolding" them in front of customers. Appearing irritated for when having to help them.) I have used Uhaul for moving and Storage for all my storage and moving needs and have never negative experiences like I've had here. I will be using another location in the future.

On the third month I received a vm stating I had to remove my lock if I wanted to vacate. I didn’t request to vacate, the manager for the locker number wrong. I called and got a rude employee who said he could not note my account and it was personal between me and the manager who would not be in for two days. I vacated the locker on December 30 and advised the office. They didn’t tell me I would have to pay for la lock because I left a small bag of trash in it. I had paid a month in advance and was going to get trash next day. There are no trash cans on premises. I would have remove small container if I knew I would charges for lock. I called manager and left message but she never returned my call. The man who inspected locker was professional

Shannon L | Overall ExperienceThe place is amazing during day time hours but be aware when the sun settles, you’ll notice how heavy the homeless population is in the surrounding area. Just be aware it’s not a safe area and you’ll notice every once in a while someone will break a door to access the customers bathroom. You will see people high off drugs sitting around the perimeter (a sight that is becoming common in Tucson) as the area is not fenced off as one would think. I would definitely spend my money elsewhere next time at a secure location where I’ll know I can access my belongings at anytime while not be hyper vigilant due to the transient people who hang around the area. Online pictures make the place look amazing as it is but, the situation around it isn’t.

But we realized that there are no trash cans offered on the premises. Also during COVID it became very uncomfortable to go to our storage unit as many people including staff members do not wear face masks. I’m immune suppressed so this is a huge violation both in the moral sense as well as national health. This really rushed my husband & I to get out of there faster then we had planned but well worth it in the end for our safety. It’s really shameful that Uhaul is not keeping up with other businesses.

The failure to post signs at the entrances requiring masks is highly irresponsible by a business during a pandemic. Most of the people we encountered in the storage portion of the facility were not wearing masks because U Haul did not post signs that they were required.

From the minute I pulled in, tired and weary from the long drive, I was swarmed by staff members that were eager to help out. Cons: The alarm system in the indoor storage area needs some dialing in. It was set off probably every half hour. Very loud.
