PARIZO AI was scheduled to pick up a truck via the app before the location opened for the day. The app refused to recognize that I was in the correct location so I could not check in. Customer service then recommended that I try to check in via the website instead of the app. All was good until I tried to click the button stating that I read the Terms & Conditions. No matter what I tried, it would not let me click the button so I could not get access to the truck. The solution of the customer service rep was to wait until the location opened at 9 AM which was a bit irritating considering I had been there since 8 AM trying to pick up the truck using the app and website. I had people waiting for me at my storage unit who I was paying by the hour to assist with the move. If you are going to offer a virtual pick up and drop off service, it needs to work properly! And when it doesn't, you need to have some sort of override that still allows you to pick up your truck without having to wait until the location opens. What if I was trying to pick up the truck at 5 AM? Would your solution had been for me to wait 4 HOURS?!

John HThe van looked clean but it smelled like waste and disgusting. The van only had 1/4 tank of gas which forced me to fill up twice to do the load. Very frustrating experience between the gas not being full so I can return full and the DISGUSTING smell I had to drive around in.

deforest hUnfortunately I had a pretty bad experience. I booked the mobile 24/7 pickup and upon arriving (at 6pm), there were no instructions in the mobile app for starting the reservation process. I was on hold for close to 30 minutes trying to get it resolved with 3 little kids in the car. What should have only taken a few minutes ended up taking almost an hour. By the time I finally got the reservation back on track, and got the lock box code, I opened the box AND THERE WAS NO KEY. I called back and was told there was a 30 minute wait to answer my call. There was no direct number for this location. I was alone in a dark parking lot. I just called my husband to put all the kids back in the car and come pick me up. It was ridiculous. I was still on hold by the time we got home and just hung up. I was unable to pickup the Uhaul on the day I wanted which resulted in a full day behind for packing the truck (for a job, so this put me in a pretty tough spot). Someone called me back and assured me I could get it all sorted out the next day when they opened at 9am. He said I would get a discount for all the inconvenience. We went and picked up the Uhaul in person. The lady who was there was very nice and knew what was going on. She apologized the worked forgot to put the key in the lock box 😳. So I was able to pickup finally and get home to pack. It was raining however, so I had to load all my equipment in the rain, which wouldn't have happened if I had been able to get it the night before. I was rushing to get to the job on time, which wouldn't have happened if I could have packed the night before. All why I reserved it the day before... We even returned the Uhaul early (on Sunday), and I was still charged the full amount. Almost $250 for a crappy experience. No discount and I really only had the Uhaul for about 24 hours. I highly doubt I'll be using this service again.

David MI rented an auto trailer. The trailer is engineered well, easy to use, and easy to pull. The service center that I used had 3 on hand and the technician was a pleasure to work with. Thank you again and I'll be using Uhaul and this facility for my future trailer renal needs.

Anise BThis was our first time renting a U-Haul vehicle and it was a smooth process. I reserved online the morning of the rental, and when we got to the location a little early, they were able to accommodate our early arrival. The van was clean and in good condition and our queen mattress easily fit. Returning the van was easy -- and convenient to fill up the gas at the Royal Farms across the street. Bonus points for the lovely landscaping outside the U-haul building. Not necessary, but it looked nice. The only negative is that it took us a little while to receive the email confirmation of the reservation. It finally came through to my email about an hour after we picked up the van. But otherwise, a smooth experience and if we need to rent a van or moving vehicle in the future, we will choose this location.
