The biggest thing that I would recommend is to get much better signage outside of the building letting people know where they need to go. The lack of signage makes it extremely difficult to know where to go and where the front of the building is. Thankfully the person working when I picked up was willing to answer the phone and tell me where to go so, I could get inside the building.

PIERCE MEverything was great! Except when I got in the truck it said 40 miles til empty. I returned it with 50 miles til empty and still got charged for gas.

susan mMy initial reservation was with the location at 800 Main Street, but when I arrived the keys were not in the lock box. With the help of a wonderful customer service representative I was able to change my reservation to this location, and it worked out.

BRADLEY Uwas told we had to wait until 9:00 despite our reservation being for 8:30 on the app. Employees refused to help and wouldn't even point us in the direction of our truck or help us find what we needed.

PRENDA LI arrived at 7:30 to pick up my rental and discovered that a homeless person was using the truck as shelter. There were cigarettes and ashes all over the cab of the truck and it smelled awful. I had to call custoner service and was sent to a different uHaul to pickup a different truck. Do they not lock their trucks?

KEHINDE BI had the most unpleasant customer experience that I have had in a very long time. I was informed that I could come by and pick up a truck early around 8:30 AM. When I got there, the staff woman was not only reluctant to help me find my reservation in the app, but acted as if I was some sort of annoyance, even though she had specifically told me that it would be ok for me to come by before 9 AM. If I was going to be treated as an inconvenience I would have come by during normal business hours. It’s clear that she and some others were trying to get some work done before they opened such as moving trucks from one end of the lot to the other, however, as a customer, it felt as though they wanted me to just figure out what to do instead of taking a few minutes to simply help me understand why my reservation was not showing up within the app, get my truck, and get out of there. I was berated for parking in the wrong place at the back of the lot on the gravel, but there was no option for me to park at the front of the lot in a regular parking space because those were taken up by trucks that had been returned by other customers. There is no way someone would know any of this information as a first time U-Haul customer. But I did not appreciate the attitude from more than one staff member and will not probably be renting with U-Haul again. I would rather just hire a moving company who can take care of these transportation details if it means not having stressful interactions, such as these. Moving is not my full-time job nor is working at a U-Haul center. Customer should not be treated as if their questions are no-brainers. You never know how hard a customer is having it (I have been dealing with incredible health issues and was just in the ER a few days ago) and then had to deal with being treated poorly by someone who clearly didn’t want to be there. I do not appreciate this. On a positive note, the woman I was dealing with did apologize and acknowledge that me not knowing where to find my truck or where to park wasn’t my fault. Correct. It wasn’t. It’s your job to help me. Please do your job or find a different one that makes you happier and stop taking out your frustration on innocent customers. Could not rate this interaction any lower. Common decency is not so common anymore I guess.

ROBERT AThe truck was dirty inside and out. The windshield was covered with smeared bugs. It clearly hadn't been cleaned since the prior user(s). Additionally, I had to go out into the parking area and hunt around for the truck myself rather than an employee drive it around to the pickup area. I have rented from Uhaul many times and usually I am impressed by the quality of the truck and the service - this place I was not.

Seth AI cant believe the low level of Customer Service at this location!!! No way. Ive been following up since 2 days about my wallet that I forgot in the truck. I called after less than hour asking about it and they don't have it. They ask me to come and check the truck myself. The truck already parked, meaning employees already went through it. They ask me to call the next day as manager sets her own schedule and she was out before 3pm I call customer service for UHaul to assist - she does by informing me that the manager will reach out to me the next day. I called at 11am as no one followed up. The female manager says we don't have ur wallet and doesn't answer anything else. I informed her if she was able to check the cameras, she doesn't answer. The when insisting on my question very politely, she says I don't have access, only General Manager who will in on Monday can check!! Regarding the police report I will place, she says will be more than happy to talk to them and say the same things and hangs up!! Wow ...
