I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent rental experience and to formally dispute the inaccurate and excessive charges on my bill. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle in the morning, I had to wait nearly 30 minutes, only to be told that your computer system was down and that I would receive the rental contract later. I specifically asked your staff about the office closing time, and I was told it was 7:00 PM. However, when I returned the car at 6:35 PM, I was informed that I had to use the self-service return due to the system issue. I followed the instructions carefully: • I submitted the return through the app • I parked the car in the designated spot • I placed the key in the assigned drop box Despite following your return process exactly as instructed, I was shocked to receive a final bill of $188.13, which includes nearly $100 in unexplained additional charges. Specifically: • $20 After-Hours Return Fee – This is completely unreasonable as I returned the car before 7 PM and only used self-return because your staff told me to. • $30 Insurance Fee – I selected the $15 insurance option, as shown on your website. • An unexplained $50+ overcharge with no itemized explanation. I called your office to resolve these issues, but the manager I spoke to was extremely rude and provided no explanation or assistance. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and has made this rental experience extremely frustrating and disappointing. Based on the agreed terms, my total charges should have been: • Rental fee: $49.95 • Insurance: $15 • Mileage: $24.51 Total: $89.46 I am requesting an immediate review of my bill, a detailed explanation of all charges, and a full refund of the unjustified fees. Please address this matter urgently and respond to me as soon as possible.
LU HWish you had an hourly rate for the small trailer. Rental used for 2 hours and had to pay for a whole day. Or some kind of discount for more than one rental per month.

This location did not have what I was looking for but the man at the counter asked me some questions to help determine if anything they had would work. Ended up renting a motorcycle trailer that worked like a charm to move a fridge. Process was simple and smooth with great customer assistance. In and out in 20 minutes. When I returned a retired man helped me unhitch and get my return check list handled in a jiffy. Both men were professional, polite and down to earth. Give them both a raise!!!

MICHAEL BI wanted to express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service and convenient location. The agent was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience very welcoming. It was also easy to find our truck, which added to the overall positive experience. However, I have a significant concern that I need to bring to your attention. On Sunday, March 23rd, about 150 miles after leaving the Sacramento, CA area, we stopped at a gas station to get food and use the bathroom. Even though the tank was still half full, we decided to fill up. While filling up, the gas nozzle did not stop, and the truck was on a slight hilltop towards the other side of the tank intake. I was holding the gas nozzle the whole time. When my friend returned from the bathroom, he noticed that gas was pouring from the bottom of the truck. There was so much gas flowing to the other side of the truck, all the way to the sidewalk and street, that people started noticing and complaining to the gas station attendant. I stopped the gas and noticed that no gas had leaked from the intake, only from the bottom of the truck. The tank is about 30-35 gallons, and with half a tank, the gas pump read over 32 gallons that we paid for. This means more than 15 gallons were wasted. This was not only a significant financial loss for us but also a very dangerous situation for the location and people with all that gas spilled. The price per gallon at that gas station was $5.39. We checked for leaks and double-checked after we left the station, but no leaks were found, so we decided to continue our trip. NATALIE LOK, I rented a trailer to take a motorcycle from this place to the town where I live, an hour away, and they made me return the trailer to this same place. I don't know why they didn't allow me to return it to a location in the town where I live, since this caused me to have to drive an hour to return and another hour to return to my house.

Apparently the age of my truck triggers some weird glitch in you system, not allowing it to be able to rent a trailer. Just for your information, the truck I own was considered very heavy duty back in it's day and was more then capable enough for the task at hand. Yet by today's standards, it triggers some weird situation causing the whole rental process to slow to a grinding halt. This is extremely annoying and it happen both times I was trying to rent a car hauler. This needs to be addressed.

KWAKU AThe trucks had damages in multiple places. I had to keep track of where the damages were. Also the price was way above what was quoted over the phone. I rented a truck and a tow dolly. Then the person working did not know what the 3rd equipment was and tried to say it was missing. It was an extension already installed on the vehicle which the person did not have knowledge of and tried to say it was missing. i tried saving money by towing with uhaul and returning to the same location but returning to another location would have been cheaper..
RONIT SMore assistance from the person working there instead of pushing that everything be done through the app, especially when I return my truck during business hours when the store was open. The new process of doing most of the process through the U-Haul app can be confusing and I feel bad for older people because they will struggle with this process

OLIVIA WWhen I was trying to change the location to drop off my truck I had to speak to 5 different reps before i could get someone who knew how to make the change. All the other reps said I needed to speak to Scheduling but every time I called I was routed back to the customer service line and the reps didn't know how to make this change. I finally got a rep and she was amazing and was able to make the change quickly.

MICHAEL CI fully filled out the advance check in information the night before. The man I dealt with at the counter continued to ask me all the same questions and rephotograph my DL. He felt he had to tell me to fully filled the gas tank and not try to save $5 by under filling. So rude. It’s the third time I have rented a van at this location with no issues from me. The lady that checked me back in was friendly and professional.

VIRGINIA GMy card never worked and the other three that the extremely kind employee tried to help program for me would not work as well. Also, I was told I could still access my unit but when I loaded the dolly and went to my second floor unit, I couldn’t get the unit door open..the latch was jammed. I work three jobs, so time is almost nonexistent, and had rushed over to unload the van and turn it in, but with the nonstop issues I experienced had to reload my rental van and leave forcing me to have to keep the van an additional two days. I ended up owing over $200 dollars for a $20 a day van which has now caused me a financial hardship. On top of that I was led to believe that the unit I got was much bigger..but my walk in closet is bigger. I will be attempting to get everything out of the unit before i get another monthly charge. This experience has been incredibly stressful and loss of sleep and money. I do want to recognize the kindness, professionalism, patience and help the older gentleman there have me. He had to walk over to my unit multiple times to help me both open the latch snd fight with it to get it closed. Very faulty and generic latch on the unit. cannot wait to get rid of the nightmare that has been created.

I had reserved a 10x10 storage unit in advance, as I needed sufficient space to store my full set of furniture. However, after paying and giving my receipt I went to check out the unit and it was 2 5x10. I went back and expressed that was not what I wanted yet what I was given and paid for. I was informed that no 10x10 units were available. After explaining that a 5x10 wouldn’t work for me a 10x10 unit was finally offered. The unit had a higher price so I paid the difference and was sent on my way. However, when I proceeded to the designated 10x10 unit, I discovered it was already occupied and locked with someone else’s personal lock on it. I then went back inside to let them know that again there was on issue. At this point he was stumped and confused. He informed me he need time to resolve issue. At this point, I’ve already made 2 payments and had no storage unit. I informed them that after the hour and 15 min I had already spent there I had to go to handle other things. He informed that I would receive a call about the issue from management. The entire experience was unnecessarily complicated and distressing. But the website doesn't tell you beforehand that it's actually two individual 10x10x8 units with individual doors and a wall that separates both units, so it's not actually one unit 10x20x8. So, when I arrived to put my belongings in the storages I was very unhappy with what I actually paid for and what I actually had rented. 4 medium individual units instead of 2 large individual units. I needed to store items that measure 8x16x7, so not being able to do so, I'm sure you can imagine my frustration with the whole situation. I'm now having to scramble to find a new facility, probably won't be looking at U-Haul for another unit, unless it's a deal that is worth it for the headache I went thru yesterday and now today trying to find the correct storage I need today.

A smidge confusing upon returning and unloading our items into storage - the markings of where the massive uhaul truck could be parked to unload was very unclear (the bay doors specifically). The best part was the gentleman working to fix those doors helped us immediately and went even further by propping one door as to not accidentally close on us while we unloaded. THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!! The young lady that helped us to start was superb, friendly and just a doll to work with.
