Fix your computer systems so it works better for other customers faster. That was my main issue. Cards always had hard time charging and it ruined the experience for me didn’t have all day to sit and wait to be charged for something. Add lights in storage units. Add ways to get into storage units if elevators are down. So nobody is inconvenienced and if you can’t do that offer credit for each day they are without access to their storage unit

The original return location was close when we arrived. I decided to return to main Uhaul location. That became a problem. I had to demand to talk to a manager. She had the worker call traffic control and they changed my drop off location. It was a hassle to convince I was dropping off the trailer at the new location. Eventually they made it happen

There was no way I was going to be able to carry heavier boxes or furniture up a flight of stairs. Luckily, Nicole was able to get me one on the first floor under the same offer I received. I’m grateful she was able to help me out.

RODNEY HThis experience has been a nightmare..3 messages left for management since I moved in , in February 2025 it's now march 20th 2025 and it's just now being delt with. I moved u. With the u haul app. The measurements of the storage didn't include the storage door, when we arrived we quickly realized my tool boxes wouldn't fit through the door of storage unit.I emedcalled the u haul # and spoke to a young man he said pick witch unit u thought would work. I picked 1081# during the conversation u haul man on phone took my debit card for payment on the bigger unit. I thought everything was. Good to go. He told me he would leave a note on my u haul account saying I had to change units because of size . He also said they would give me back or use my 1st u it as credit or refund. Neither of those happened Absolutely no employee knew I was in The bigger unit.. I went into uhaul that following week. Manager again wasn't on the property. Employees didn't know1 anything again and had no idea how to swap my units over. And all I got was nobody is to rent 1st floor. Unfortunately that's not my problem. The uhaul app assigned me the 1st floor, then uhaul employee o. The phone said it was OK to stay on 1st floor. I wanted first floor because of a foot surgery I had just had done.so after 1 month I get a phone call about a missed payment. My first month was free and nobody transfered over my original payment to the bigger unit. To the date today it still hasn't been done I will pay the difference after my money is transfered over

JEREMY WIt is sad that U-Haul takes advantage of people by charging almost double the amount to go from one location to another in the same state going on the same route depending on if you are going to or coming from. For example my family renting a truck to go from Gillette to Powell was almost double the cost of renting a truck to go from Powell to Gillette. That IS taking advantage of people.
JASON IMan at counter very dry and flat. Can he smile? Can he laugh? The new building needs an awning of some sort over the door! All the melting snow just raining down on customers as they enter. If this piece of equipment was at any other uhaul dealer I would have used them.

varlyn s | Online Move InGreat customer service when I rented the ten foot u-haul box truck that I needed for about 24 hours I was going through the inspection of the box truck before I pulled out of the parking lot and I noticed that the mileage that they had on my contract was different from what the odometer said in the box truck. I also noticed that the fuel level that they had on my contract was different from what was showing on the fuel gauge inside the box truck so before I left there parking lot I went back into the office and spoke with the representative that did the contract up and explained the situation to him and he told me that when I returned the box truck the following day he was going to be there and he would fix and take care of everything then and that representative name was Don and I would like to say thank you very much to him he stood by his world and took care of everything the next day when I returned the equipment so thank you I really appreciate everything you have done for me and my family.
SHANE KWhen dropping off the trailer I was informed of the missing peice in which the tongue uses to rest on. As well as the showing and rusted wire on the backup safety hooks in case the ball fails. Both of which were like that when I picked it up. The person made me feel as if it was my fault. (I only drove from sheridan to gillette). If the wires showing were raw and not rusted, then maybe. But it takes time to rust and it was dry out on my drive. Couldn't be me. And the part that was broken off had clearly been broken off for a while due to the fact it dirty and not even shiny like a fresh break or grind off would be. But the pictures the company had DID NOT include the tongue where these parts were affected. Makes you wonder if they intentionally left out the tongue in their pictures in order to place that blame on the next customer (me). That's bad business in my opinion. Then I was informed that if they conclude it was me I'd have to pay fines... ive never rented before, and now have learned to always take your own pictures of THE ENTIRE RENTED UNIT for your own record.
CRAIG HMy comment shouldn't be specific to this store. My rating is for Uhaul policy and customer service. I reserved a 15' moving truck 8 weeks in advance. I received a phone call from a Uhaul rep 48 hours prior to the pick up date and was told that I would have to drive over 100 miles to get the truck I needed. This was incredibly stressful and the uhaul rep didn't offer any other solutions for me. I paid someone to drive me to Gillette and when I started to explain my frustration to the store manager my complaint fell on deaf ears. The manager ignored me and cut me off mid sentence. The final insult was an email I received during my trip that I needed to return the truck to a uhaul location further than the location I already agreed on because another customer wanted to pick the rental truck up at the other uhaul location. If you can make that accommodation for one customer why didn't you accommodate me? Uhaul will be my last choice for rentals going forward.
