Had the worst experience with the lady manager there she messed with car fuses supposedly because prior truck wasn’t working and the brake light where not working but it turned out to be the trailer that was not working properly due to her moving fuses traction control turned on and she got mad said it was simple to move fuses that it was our truck glitching never had an issue till her she is rude snobby and does not k ow what she is doing

This location is one of the best in the Denver metro area. Lots of equipment, lots of supplies, staff is generally good and helpful. The road access is a bit difficult, but that cannot be changed. It would be VERY nice if you would have POS terminals that accepts tap-to-pay, and also electronic identification -- specifically in Colorado the official 'MyColorado' app has our drivers license, and that is considered 100% authentic and authoritative in the state, but you require the physical license, which some of us (me) no longer carry :(

We ordered a truck that was far too big but they worked with us to rent a smaller truck. They were so helpful and kind. Couldn’t rate high enough.

While I am VERY frustrated with the U-Haul Corp. System (made a reservation for what I needed 4 months in advance, and then the day before I needed the equipment, was told I had to drive over a hour to get it vs. where I reserved it), the SUPER kind people at the U Haul in Golden CO went the extra mile to get me what I needed and provide me with an extra discount to cover the inconvenience of having to drive an hour to pick it up.

I dislike how it’s completely self serve and the customer does all the paperwork and pictures online themselves. Where’s the customer service anymore?

The trailer I requested was not available when I arrived. It took ~ 30 minutes to get a contract. The U-Haul agent was extremely unprofessional! I will never rent from this location again!!

The manager was extremely rude to the other employee and refused to help him on multiple occations. The vehicle was not inspected before being handed off to us which led to us needing to return to get a lock removed which put us behind schedule. The manager refused to help the employee set up our trailer so we got sup par service and were given zero guidance of how to set up our car with the trailer which ended up having a malfunctioning ratcheting system causing the stap to come off thw tire multiple times during our 16 hour drive. That woman should not be aloud to be in charge of people she was so rude and he tried his best.

Your team at this location, except for the guy that helped me hook up the trailer in the morning were fucking assholes. The woman couldn’t do simple math. That asshole who refused to help and started my anger, called me a moron because I don’t know how to use an app and then he kicked me out and called the police on me because he said he wasn’t going to help me because I put the trailer in the wrong place and he was “in charge”. Fuck him. Fuck your team. I can swear as well.

When I made my reservation, I signed up for customer check in. Was made to use the app anyway. App didn’t work, poor signal in area, photos wouldn’t upload, kept having to walk all over the lot to find help. Took me way too long to leave with that rental.

When I booked the truck, I was given 2 options for pickup. 1) upload DL & info in the app. 2) “check in” at the pickup location. When I got there they said I had to download the app, etc. which was fine but then I had to spend 10 minutes at the store uploading all my info. If I had known the only option was to use the app, I would’ve done so the day before and saved myself 10 minutes on day of move

The truck pulls to the left, steering wobbles at highway speeds. Could not drive speeds posted over 65 due to steering wobbles. Additionally, the engine surges/rpm's go up and down near stalling when in idle. Long 9 four-nine hour days driving this truck. I lost time due to issues.

Thank you for asking. The guys were so nice, like the people of Golden!!! The gal was vey much into do-it-yourself, a new way to do business via an app/website. This location is very clean and the trucks well were situated. Customer service is key, and reason Golden is such a great place to be!!!

I quit my job yesterday and needed to move my toolboxes. I was able to have a trailer at a location ready with in an hour and go and get my tools picked up and moved. The staff at the pick up and drop off location were both super friendly quick and knowledgeable.

The main guy Ed was really helpful. Turns out U Haul Moving Help does not do UBox delivery to my final destination in Avon. Ed hooked me up w/ a local guy willing to deliver. AAA+++ all the way.
