CINDY Z | Overall ExperienceThe girl that attended me, I hate to be this way, but she was either too distracted or I don't know what was wrong with her. She asked for the drop off location and I told her the city and name of the storage where I wanted to drop off the uhaul and she didn't seem to understand me. She asked for the zip code for the drop off location and I told her the zip code and she kept getting it wrong no matter how many times I repeated myself. Then, when I thought she finally got it right and she's about to ask me to sign, she goes over the rules and how and where I'm going to drop off the truck. She tells me a city way away from where I said and I told her that is not where I wanted to drop off the truck. She looks at me like I'm the one that made the mistake then says I can just fix it on the app. I couldn't fix it on the app, so I call and they say they'll try to fix it. Despite being very clear about the name of the storage and zip code, they STILL got it wrong!!! It was still not that bad of a location, but it really frustrated me how I was super clear many many times and they still couldn't get it right 🤦🏻♀️

ROSA RWhen I’m made my reservation, I asked for a 10 foot truck at the location on West Griffin in Mission Texas. I was shocked when I received a notice on the day of rental that the location on West Griffin did not have the truck I ordered. I would have to go to the store on International Boulevard in Hidalgo to pick up my truck. This incurred our having to drive 15 miles one way to pick up the truck. Thank goodness that Isabel, the owner of the store in Hidalgo credited me with 30 free miles. Still, it was an inconvenience and somewhat deceitful in my opinion.
James GThe set up drop off location was closed . No one available. Several people there frustrated as well . I called another U-Haul location -Hidalgo Texas and they were able to helped me to dropped it . Great service . By the way another great lady very professional.

norma gOn 4/30/23 I showed up to pick up my reservation (#74193843) and it had been deleted. The employee showed me his screen and my reservation was not there despite the fact that I had confirmed by phone the previous day. By a miracle, another unit had been returned that morning and it was given to me. At this same location back on 2/5/23 I showed up to pick up reservation #74194336 and the place was closed because no one showed up to work. I forgot to claim the $50 for this cancelled reservation. The employees there are always very nice but something is seriously wrong with the reservation system.

Joe FIt was scheduled to pick the truck up at location on 23rd Street in McAllen, TX at 10am. I called that morning at 9:00 am to see if I could pick it up earlier, instead I was told that the truck was not available to me there but I had to pick it up at U-Haul in Hidalgo City 7 miles south from where I live. When I was there the only one employee had to do the entire paperwork. Finally gave me the keys and found out the windshield had a crash of the size of a softball. He gave us another truck and another paperwork had to prepare. I lost 2 hours of my time in the entire process.

We mentioned this to the front desk and they mentioned we didn't have insurance (totally understandable) and that's on us. We re-organized the unit around the leak and asked the front desk if they would repair it. After a month of waiting for the repair it never came. When we asked to get it fixed there was no actions made. We will not be using this Uhaul location.

I would recommend strongly people for the storage but not for the truck( and the team where I picked it up) . The maintenance of the truck was bad. It took $1200 in gazoline it was way too much while the plan was for only $ 500 dollars scheduled). The engine light came up. It drove very badly. Windshield wiper was torn. It was a terrible trip with the truck.

Elizabeth DHola, me envían un correo diciendo que están tristes porque ya no estaré con ustedes (no se si es real o es una burla) Más triste estoy yo que he sido cliente de ustedes desde hace ya muchos años, como quien dice casi me obligaron a salirme, bueno les cuento; Yo actualmente no paso para Estados Unidos por lo del cierre de fronteras y sin embargo siempre he sido cumplida con mis pagos puntuales los primero tres días de cada mes, hace ya varios meses deje de pagar pero no porque yo no quisiera, ya que cada mes me reportaba por teléfono para hacer el pago y me respondían que no podía realizarlo porque había fallas en el sistema, (así sucedió durante varios meses) pero me aseguraban que no había problemas que todo estaba bien, hubo tres o 4 ocasiones en que mande personalmente a alguien para que me hiciera el favor de ir en persona a pagar ya que no me estaban aceptando el pago por teléfono y le decían lo mismo, que no podían porque estaba mal la información en el sistema y no podían aceptar el pago, pero que no me preocupara que todo estaba bien. En el mes de mayo de este año me enviaron un correo diciéndome que tenía un adeudo de 464.55 y pues siempre he estado dispuesta a pagar, pero no así de una sola vez esa cantidad ya acumulada, a los tres días me envían nuevamente un correo diciéndome que debería pagar 529.55 (al ver que en tres días ya había subido el total me alarme y les marque diciéndoles que estaba de acuerdo en realizar el pago pero que me dieran la oportunidad de hacerlo en pagos pequeños y ese mismo día abone 50 dlls a la cuenta y quedamos en que así lo haría hasta liquidar por completo. Como a las 2 semanas marque de nuevo para realizar otro abono y me respondieron que no podría yo hacer eso de pagar en partes, que era nueva administración y que ellos solo aceptarían la liquidación de todo lo que debia, que tendría que pagar el total, les explique de una forma y otra y me respondieron que solo aceptarían el pago total de los 529.55 (yo no tengo esa cantidad para pagarla en un solo pago) Mande a una persona para que fuera personalmente a explicarles como había sucedido todo y que me aceptaran un abono de 150 dlls que había mandado y tampoco así la quisieron aceptar, le dijeron a esta persona que (o liquidaba yo el total a la brevedad posible o subastarían mis pertenencias) me comenta la persona que me hizo el favor de ir, que la señora que lo atendió fue muy grosera, amenazante y altanera. Pues me trajeron de regreso los 150 dlls que había mandado y me preocupé así que les envié un correo el 11 de junio para ver si podía convencer a la señora encargada de que me diera la oportunidad de pagar 150 dlls mensuales hasta liquidar mi deuda y ahora si aceptó pero que no podría tener acceso a mis cosas hasta que les liquidara el total, yo les comente que me parecía injusto (aunque en realidad yo no iría a abrir mi bodega ya que no hay paso en la frontera), me parecía injusta esa medida ya que yo nunca me he negado a pagar, y que si esta situación estaba así, no era por mi causa sino por la de ellos, y pues me respondieron que sería a como ellos decían y que aparte cada mes se elevaría la cuenta por la renta mensual. El día 12 de junio me enviaron un correo diciéndome que me darían la oportunidad de pagar 264.75 y que me darían 24 hs para sacar mis pertenencias, (así de repente no tenía yo esa cantidad). Para el día 21 de junio les conteste de que ya había logrado reunir la cantidad que me pedían y que en el transcurso de la semana buscaría a alguien que me hiciera el favor de pasar para el lado americano e ir a pagar, por fin alguien me hizo el favor de ir a pagar y saco algunas cosas nuevas que había yo comprado el año pasado y que tenía ahí guardadas, pero como iba en un mueble (transporte) pequeño no logro sacar todo lo que había , así que tuvo que dejar ahí varias cosas que sé que ya perdí y me da tristeza que haya pasado todo esto después de tantos años de ser yo clienta de ustedes. El día 24 de junio me llega otro correo, diciéndome que “LES DA TRISTEZA DE QUE YO LOS HAYA DEJADO” no sé si es un correo protocolario o es una burla por haberme sacado así. Se escudan que, porque la nueva administración así se maneja y está bien Yo con tantos años siendo clienta de ustedes he visto varias administraciones diferentes y siempre se habían sido amables y nunca se habían portado TAN GROSEROS, AMENAZANTES Y ALTANEROS. Pedro RRentals over the last 20+ years have been excellent with only one exception: the rims on nearly every trailer we’ve rented have had excessive (some to the point of structurally dangerous) rust. This problem needs to be addressed.
mr jThe instrument panel had a bit of dust. Everything looked nice and clean except for that. *I got quoted for 3 days at 277... Over the phone it was 201 for 2 days. However, when I dropped it off I was charged an extra $44 for the "extra" (third) day.
