I made a reservation at a different installation location, but U-haul switched to this location without notifying me. Three days prior to the scheduled date I received a note from the new location that they were ready for the installation. I did not want to cancel this appointment, but it was at a location with ~1/2 hour additional drive time each way. Not the first time that an U-haul hitch installation was troublesome for me as 2 years ago I showed up at an appointed time for installation only to fine that the hitch had not been shipped. Only problem with the new installation was that the electrical connector was only routed to the trunk interior. Maybe this could not be routed to the exterior where the hitch is? No one talked to me about this.

SHELDON LWhile the staff were helpful overall, when hooking up the trailer the gentleman helping me lost control of the trailer. It struck the back of my car causing a noticeable dent and scraping the paint. He didn't say anything at all. I chose not to press the issue, but at least an apology would have been nice.

RYAN OU-Haul saved us $500 installing and buying our hitch from them. Everywhere else wanted anywhere from $700-$800 for the hitch and installation. U-Haul is a great service provider for this bicycle receptor unit. Very very reasonably priced and honest. I highly highly recommend if you need a receptor installed on the back of your SUV or truck or car reach out to U-Haul. You will be amazed at how competitively they are priced.

Erick LI swear that all 3 of the individuals that were there when I went to Pick up the truck seem to just hate their jobs. Very little interest in customer service. I was given the key to the truck, then sent on a quest to find the truck myself , parked across the street. Of course, when I found the truck I could not get it out of the parking spot due to vehicles in front and behind. Another trip back across the street. No one in the building. finally someone showed up, walked across the street with me and moved the trailer blocking my exit. The truck ran terrible. Definitely needs at least a tune up. Then they had me drop the truck off at a DIFFERENT location in town.

She said she was just finishing up another truck and I could just leave it where I had stopped. She was very pleasent and took the key. She said check my email for the receipt or if I needed one immediately it would be about 10 minutes. Outstanding customer service!

Dean KThey rented me truck that had low oil, and the overhaul was stuck on. and i extended the rental much longer than i intended but they were rushing me to return it. It included 20 miles for the first day . i extended the rental and got no more miles included? not to mention, the final bill says 313 miles which is the total i used.. but was charged the whole 313- they never deducted the 20 miles i had included. and i know i filled it back up to 15/16 of a tank and i was charged for 6 gallons of gas.plus $50 for a cleaning fee?? i cleaned out all the trash and didnt leave any items in the uhaul. we live in michigan, mud and snow should be expected. it was nothing excessive enough for a $50 fee. worst experience w uhaul ever. i will never use this location again.
DANIELLE NWonderful customer service! I was notified the next morning about a found garage door opener left in the cab. The entire cab smelled like cigarettes though. If it had been an out of town/state trip, it would have been intolerable. Thankfully I only drove a total of about 20 miles.

RICHARD SHad to go back in three times cause first truck was blocked in couldn’t get out and second truck was not starting finally got truck and wasn’t even the one on my paperwork it was a joke and took me almost hour to pick up the truck. After my first reservation was transferred over there had to call back cause they said it was still showing the other uhaul location which closed a half hour earlier then they was supposed to preventing me from getting the truck. I will definitely not rent with uhaul again I’ll figure something else out!

I did take a picture before I left the location so I knew exactly where to put the gas hand back at compared to the paperwork.

Reason I chose this location originally when I made online reservation, and again when contacted for 20% discount, and yet again when I picked up trailer in WI. Odd that the drop-off information was still missing on this account after putting it in three times? Was not impressed that last Monday when I made the reservation, then the approval for 20% discount - that I had chosen/and had confirmed trailer pickup in Janesville, yet I get frantic calls from UHall early morning 10Jan25 (day before pickup) that pickup location had changed and did I still want it!?! Clue: Nobody wants to have a reservation confirmed, 4 days later changed to a location 30 miles from final destination; especially when travelling 225 miles to pick it up. Totally unacceptable from corporate reservations! Location personnel were excellent, reservation process and communication really stunk - other than the 20% discount, thanks.

DANIEL PI have picked up two pickups from UHaul that had filthy digusting windows, and I mean every window. This last trucks windshield was so dirty I had to pull over and wipe the drivers side off so the glare from other cars wasn’t making it difficult to drive! Plus the back window was even filthier!

The only thing that I had an issue with at first was finding the number for the actual Uhaul Service center and Storage Facility that I was working with. I recommend that you ask for their direct number when you are in the facility filling out paperwork so that you do not have to go through the corporate phone tree and answering service which by the way is not very helpful and has proved to be very frustrating compared to working directly with the on site staff members.
