GUY LI was told that I couldn't drop this trailer off in Renfrew but had to return it to this site. It was a little inconvenient and I'm not sure why I couldn't drop it off at another location. I've been allowed to in the past.
MELISSA TRatchets for wheel straps very stiff from corrosion. I recommend lubricating strap ratchets on all vehicle transport trailers. Other than that very satisfied with the U-Haul experience.

LISA SThis location is awesome. They had clearly marked parking spots with spacious approach lanes which made it very easy to drop-off the trailer. Unlike the difficulties experienced at another location with very cramped space, where I had to back up my car with the trailer hooked to it, this location was absolutely delightful. We dropped off the Trailer after office hours. The Drop-off Mobile app was a bit jittery and took a few tries to complete the drop-off process.
Leo EThe guy was extremely rude. There was no acknowledgment of us being there other than helping us park. He was teaching someone else on how to receive the trailer and was mad when we were taking photos as required by the app when returning the trailer. I specifically told the guy i am taking photos and if he could move and did not even listen to me telling him that, than was mad because there was a photo of him like the photos are in the app. Even if he didnt hear me, if he acknowledged our presence maybe he would have realized I was taking the photos. After a long day of moving, I think the last thing you need is a bad customer service from someone.
Xx JPick up was seamless. Attendant was busy with a customer but brilliantly multitasked and helped us both at once as there are forms customers need to fill out.
Kristopher Greserved trailer months in advance from an Ottawa location. Received a call 2 days before pick-up that I would now have to pick up in Kanata (50 minutes away).

Beverly KRental and return service both very good. The software driving the condition pictures worked well. Electrical connection to trailer lost once during trip due to well-used connector.
JOHN MThis is the second time I tried to rent a 10 foot truck and it was not available. Got a 16 foot truck instead but had to drive far to get it. There was garbage left in the cab of the truck. Behind and under the seats. I had to look for the truck it was not in the spot I was told.

Moumir FBetter online application. Crashed multiple times trying to book cargo van. Get all-season tires at least on rentals for winter driving. Had little snow on driveway and was spinning and couldn't back up all the way in my driveway. On the other hand, Maria (I believe that was her name) was fantastic. My wife called and spoke with her at the Kanata location on Thursday. She tried booking us one as your online site was down and couldn't either. She called us back after hours to confirm our booking and sent us a confirmation email. Also checked us in on Saturday and upgraded our rental vehicle as our box spring wouldn't have fit in our rented cargo van!! Very polite and professional. Would rent again because of her assistance!!

Donna MI rented a trailer plus the haul kit, but i was told my van had a low hitch and the trailer would drag too low so it's wouldn't be safe. My transaction for the trailer was canceled and I got a truck instead. Problem was that since it was canceled by uhaul, they still made be keep the tow ball at a price of 45$ with no way to return and get reimbursed. That part should be looked into since the cancelation wasn't from my end. That was the only issue I had.

GLENN WI want to give full credit to the location and I wish I could rate the online check in process separately. The location and vehicle itself was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and quick. The vehicle was also clean enough and in excellent condition. I would absolutely rate them 5 stars. The worst part was the online check in process. The app does not let you start the check in until you give it location access on your phone and it knows you are sitting in the lot. Then it asks for pictures of your Drivers license (which it already has from your profile) and a photo of yourself. The app would not scan my drivers license after multiple attempts. I ended up having to go to the mobile website instead for it to finally work. After that painstaking process, you have to enter a second form of verification?? You have to choose between 1 reference, your workplace, a passport, or your home lease???? First of all, why in the world would anyone need to provide their workplace or home lease to rent a Uhaul, so those were instantly out of the question. Second, I do not carry my passport around with me but had the check in process allowed me to verify myself before arriving to the location, I could have provided a photo of it. Finally, I entered in the information for a reference contact. They sent the number a text message notifying of an upcoming call. They did not call the number, as verified by my reference, but claimed they called 3 times. They then prompted me to add a new contact which I refused to do. By this point it had already been 35 minutes of this painful "check in". They finally called the reference and this was the conversation: Reference: Hello Agent: Hi, this is Uhaul we were given this number in case there was a delay. Reference: Yes, I got the text. Agent: Thank you *hangs up* What was the point of making the phone call to not verify literally anything? It was the most infuriating experience and will absolutely deter me from ever using this experience again. At the end of it, I waited an extra 45 minutes out of my rental time for this insane verification. I was 1 more minute from walking away from this place out of principal. It is clear that this needs to be revamped in some way that doesn't waste the customer's time.
CRAIG GMoving in the winter is never fun so we thought it would be easier with an enclosed truck to protect all our furniture and stuff. Well, we live in Ontario and we have snow. The truck had such bald tires that we could barely make it in our driveway (in Stittsville, Ontario). We got stuck multiple times. Also never received any information on the pickup process. Never was informed that we needed an app to pickup so that was frustrating. The representative I called to find out details about picking the truck up was less than helpful saying ‘ do you still need me on the line orrrrrr’ ‘ someone would’ve told you to download the app’ (of which , no, nobody has told me that or we would have had the app downloaded). Anyways, definitely don’t recommend- especially for moving in the winter. Less than ideal and clearly they don’t check the tire quality for winter weather.

Todd BKeeping the Gas tank on 1/4 doesn’t make any sense to me, I had to fill the gas before going to my delivery address and once I finished again had to go to gas station, Why not keep it simple Full gas tank then you know you have to give it back with full tank.
