Need better communication on delays in pickup and delivery times. Shifts in expected pickup and delivery times caused multiple rescheduling conflicts to occur. Shipment was delayed a day in pickup of units for shipment to interim destination point and actual delivery to final destination point was also delayed until late evening due to a breakdown with the company's forklift. Pickup of empty containers was also delayed a day.
Stephen SI got a lot of conflicting notifications about delivery and pickup dates. I think the automated system could use some debugging. The people I interacted with were amazing. The price beat driving myself across the country, and so did the delivery time. I do think that I lucked out by getting the metal boxes rather than the wooden versions. I'm not sure I would have been as thrilled with those. I will definitely recommend this service to people in the future.
Damian GI have rented several U boxes in the last couple of years and this was absolutely the worst Ubox that was delivered to me. Horrible condition. The UBox originated in Alsip Illinois. I have many pictures. I’m surprised it made it to Florida. The inside got wet and ruined my queen mattress. I will be filing a claim.

NATHAN WJamie in Kingsport was awesome, professional, friendly and very skilled with the forklift. Also gave me good information on working with the covers when closing the box to help keep the cover from getting stuck in door and other helpful hints.

GENA EThe easiest way to approach this site is via an underpass with a 9 foot clearance, which is not worth risking when that is the minimum required by the trucks. I think it qould be really helpful in this situation to provide direction on how to get there with a truck specifically.

Ron MTruck was 7/8 full but I got charged to top it off. Corporate, the online app should have told me which of the 3 key boxes to open, that would have saved time instead of trying to put the combination in all 3 lock boxes

Maurice WCard machine needs to be fixed - not just this location but that is my experience with U-Haul. I ended up reading the card numbers after the rep made several attempts.

ANTONINO TRedo the entire interior. Make it more like your other locations. This location looks like a hole in the wall. You hardly know its a Uhaul. However, the staff was excellent and most helpful!
vincent mAt $1.09 per mile the first place you go should not be to a fueling station leaving the truck on a 1qtr tank is not fair to customers who just want to go from point a to b and return the truck with all the construction in Jacksonville I had to go 20 miles out of rout to fuel and then to have to commit to a four hour window when the truck is advertised as a daily rental is not right either . Uhaul is the cheapest but you force customers to spend extra money going to fuel before I can tackle my task I will rent a pick up in the future and get unlimited mileage and just make multiple trips . Never again will I rent uhaul price gauging customers 200 for a four hour rental is ridiculous

Ricardo KWas told to drop off in different location and was told info was on the contract but when I was ready to drop off the location was the same location that l was l was to drop off not knowing what to do l called U Haul and was told wait time was 45 minutes so i requested a call back waited one hour and no call went online and that did not work made two more call and after one hour and 49 minutes was told to drop off location that was on contact Customer Service at U Haul needs to improve before you lose customers
Vincent MDrop off location in my online account did not show the accurate location. Had to call customer service to get correct location.
Brandon HI lost some time during pick-up with the driver's license photo upload and such. It would be better to invite the customer to do that before at home.

AUDRA EI rented a 26’ truck. Issues with the equipment: headlights were “very dim”, steering was loose ( had to seesaw back and forth to keep straight ). Windshield wipers were old and totally ineffective.

Teresa SGathen, the only associate on duty, is poorly trained and lacks experience. He also appears to forget that customers are the people who pay his salary. He struggled with the computer system, entering, deleting and re-entering information, and then expected me to wait around until his phone would work so that he could take photos of the trailer. I needed a light adapter that he didn’t have in stock, and so he sent me to another U-Haul location for it…except they didn’t have it either. It needs to be explained clearly to him that customers are important.

ROBERT KLocation @ Myrtle Ave in Jacksonville was suppose to open at 9:00 and when we arrived there were three other parties waiting for the location to open. We were all calling corporate and other stores trying to get someone to show up. When calling corporate the wait times were anywhere from 20-45 minutes due to high call volume. Store was still not open by 10:00 and we were able to get in touch with Brian Petty who came from another Uhaul store nearby(Ashley St. I think) - he was able to leave his store and come over and help us. We had rented a one way truck and there were no one way trucks on the lot (how does the system allow you to rent something you do not have)? Brian was most helpful and got us out the door quickly and was super to work with. Over all the U-Haul truck was a better drive and nicer inside than the Penske truck I rented before (no issues with the truck) If I need to rent anytime in the future I will definitely go to the Ashley St location.
Jacqueline sBe on guard. If you drop off your rental on time. But they are closed for the day. They (Bryan Petty) will charge you an extra day. This is even after all the steps taken through the return process on the mobile phone. These folks will scam you. Thieves. My advice, stay away from uhaul. If this is rectified I will update this review.
