Kayla was extremely helpful as I got stuck in a snow bank near my unit. She helped me shovel and try to extricate my car. Over and above the call of duty!

I had my travel trailer at the facility for 9 months and needed to move it out in January. The staff had it ready to go for me when I needed it. I will continue to use this facility to store my travel trailer. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

It's great to have a storage place l can use all year long. We've had a little rough spot lately but are working it out.

The unit was clean ..but only problem is someone hit the garage door. So they closed them all. So loading my storage into my car was difficult. In and out of the snow and ice… I’m old and pulling in the garage made it less likely to fall!

You should return the remaining money for the time not used if you move out before the end of the month. You have the opportunity to rent it to others during that time, so that is only fair to the person renting.

The staff was fantastic and helpful! At the current time, the RV/boat/vehicle storage was difficult to enter due to the presence of numerous UHAUL storage boxes, making the entryway very tight. Additionally, several smaller vehicles/boats were parked in the wrong places---vehicles that should have been parked in 20 ft stalls were in 35 ft stalls. However, the staff guided us into an area in which we could park and assisted us in every way possible!

We were able to find our way into the storage area for our trailer. But it would have been better if someone had met us at the door opening with the truck and trailer.. after entering the building there was a hallway longer than expected. No worries. Just a small touch to make a newbie feel comfortable

My experience with the Manistee, Michigan U-Haul was more than exceptional! The customer service I received was beyond my expectations! The facility was impressive! So far I have rented a cargo van, rented storage space and have had nothing but a pleasurable experience! This is what makes a business great!

The website says the office opens at 7:00 a.m. but it doesn't open until 9:00 it would be much more convenient if it opened at 7:00

Only issue seemed to be the computer systems not working. There was a little bit of a wait to get checked in because the systems were so slow and then even after getting checked in the access card didn't work so I had to go get checked in again because apparently the first time the system didn't record it. Staff was very helpful but computer systems need to be upgraded.

The manager was wondering around outside somewhere. I stood inside for a while before she finally came in. Then, after getting me set up, she gave me a map and papers and said there would be a lock inside the unit I rented when I opened it up. She did not inform me about the tag that needed to be removed or that an alarm would go off when I opened the door. Which was a bit startlingly. Once I got the door opened, there was no lock so I had to go back inside to get one, since there was supposed to be one that came with the rental. She was gone, but the young man who was there was very polite and very helpful.

Lady working was friendly to talk to but did not help us find truck or storage unit. Was very disappointed in the actual service. We walked around parking area for about 25 min looking at all trucks and found ours which we had to enter from passenger side as it was parked so close to others door would not open.

I have stored my travel trails at Uhaul in Manistee for the past year. It has been a great experience. I understand the supervisor Jack was recently let go. I enjoyed working with him, and wonder why he was terminated.

I had to put 100$ of gas before I ever got out of manistee as there was just a 8th of gas in the truck and it was about to run out.

I wz very impressed last year when I rented a LG truck & recvd one month free storage on any size unit. I actually ended up renting 2 units. Even get a free lock & keys 👍. Clean, dry & very convenient access to unload & load. No wx issues 🙂👍. Workers R always friendly & very helpful. Very impressive. Well done.

When you give back hours for truck rental, but keep monthly rental fees even 5 days into a month — that’s really a scam. I did contact the site and got a real smart Alec reply. Would not recommend to anyone.

I didn’t like the fact that I had to rent storage on the same day that I was moving furniture into my rented storage. I would have preferred to have been able rent the unit prior to my moving day. Everything else, including the rental truck was good!

Jack Serio (Manistee General Manager) was amazing. He was resourceful and helpful with our storage situation. We stored a vehicle in the colder months, and came by to pick it up for the summer. We had a lockout issue and a battery issue, and Jack happily assisted us with both. What could have been a long day of us figuring out what to do, was made simple and efficient by Jack's participation. He went above and beyond to make our experience an enjoyable and memorable one as well. Thanks again!

I wz extremely pleased w the convience of hours accessibility. EZ in & out w card. Love ur padlock given w each unit. Always pleasant courteous service. High security & temp control & motion sensor lighting. .Love the LG bay area for being inside to load or unload., & many carts for service. DONE RIGHT 👍👍👍. The gentleman at counter on 4-10 was Great.. They were experiencing computer issues . He worked over the phone with his Boss Jack who was at home for the night to secure our reservation! Jack was very personable and made me feel like her cared about my belongings just as much as I did.. I felt 110% safe having my things there. The lights programmed to your movement in your unit and the regulated temperature makes your electronics alot safer as well. Loved this.ace.

Ur Manistee U-haul storage facility is top-shelf storage. Drive-in bays. Inside storage for out of the weather to unload & load. 24/7 access w motion sensor lighting. Inside bathroom facilities. Key card to sign in/out. Very impressive. Been telling others what a great storage facility. + one free month unit rental w truck rental. Again.... Very impressive. Done Right 👍👍👍

Not really welcoming. Didn’t offer to show the location of unit or why to get to the unit. Had to figure things out on my own. But have the paper with a list of rules.

It's not right that u hall dosent give back ur money of enthing u rent. I rented a truck for 3 days returned it 1 one paid for 2 days, and I rented a storeg unit and only used it for 11 days and they wouldn't give back eny money on eather. So it's wrong as they renet the truck right away was hurred to get un loaded so they could re rent it and the storeg united it was left clean and they rented it out the next day. So they're keeping money that's not there's it could be pro rated and refunded back to the person who rented it. So I feel they r scamming pepole out of money.its wrong a d someone could do somthing about it ?.?.?.??.?.......??????? I rented the storeg unit for the month not daily

I called the number listed multiple times before reserving a unit but nobody ever answered and no voice mail ever picked up so that a message could be left. I reserved a unit online anyway as that seemed the only option. I was not given a unit number upon completion of credit card info, only told what to bring on "check in day". Called a few more times over the days between reserving and move in day, still no answer or vm option. The day prior to move in I got a text telling me it was move in day & if I downloaded and checked in on the app, I'd be given a free lock. I was not able to find how to do that. The next day- move in day, I went to the office to ask my questions. Worker was great though seemingly not informed. Owner/boss not there on weekends for more help. The unit size I ordered online wasn't known to employee as one that was an option at all, and the computer was about to charge me twenty dollars more a month than I'd agreed to online, although he did find it and made the necessary adjustments to accommodate the contract made online already. He knew nothing about a free lock offer but made it right by providing it regardless. He was amazing and helped me find the unit itself and asked me to come back during the week with my questions for the owner about potentially being double charged, etc. The facility was nice looking and I'm glad it's here despite the bumpy beginning we shared.

I am extremely happy with this facility and the young man that made it enjoyable! My only issue at all would be the 3 oclock closing time. I missed them several times as most people work later than that. I hope to be able to use this service again this fall, thank you very much!
