My first reservation was entered incorrectly. I was told when I called the number listed in the reservation confirmation email that for my reservation at Mayport I needed to check into the office on Atlantic. That was false and wasted my time and they dorected me to Mayport and showed me that my reservation was for Mayport. Then when I finally got to the Mayport office they couldn't find my reservstion, even though I showed them my email with my reservation for that day (and the Atlantic office had pulled up my reservation).

My unit was broken into by way of swindling access into my account and by simply cutting my lock. All my belongings were taken and Uhaul has done nothing to help. NOTHING. POLICE HAS A report. I informed the insurance offered by Uhaul which I paid for, etc ...Uhaul has done nothing. NOTHING

This location is run by Tracy Teague. She has hired great people who take pride in this location. You can ask for anything more. The property is kept clean, nest and trash free unlike a few other public storages and facilities. The site is monitored and checked during the day. The staff member Chris is beyond helpful. He keeps an eagle out for any assistance he can provide. This is the facility to rent storage from if you need one. I checked out others and they are the best in the area. The Manager is personable, visible & responsive and I see her on the property helping the staff and checking things out which is rare to see. This facility is on top of their game.

The only thing that was wrong was when I picked up the truck the gas tank was under a quarter full so I when and put gas in it right away because I wouldn’t make it back and forth without it much less the whole thing with returning the vehicle at the same fullness. So I was planning on filling it up once and done which would have been under a quarter full tank but when I looked at all the paperwork it said it had been a quarter full and if I returned it less I would incur a $30 fee. I ended up saying screw it and filled another $10 bucks of gas in it right before I returned just to avoid all that. Basically, the fuel amount was wrong and it cost me 10 bucks not a big deal but annoying.

I had a great experience with this uhaul facility because of the customer service. The people who work at this location are the kindest uhaul workers I have ever come across. My one concern with the facility is the lack of mirrors when driving through to get to my storage unit. There were several times when I almost hit other people because they weren’t stopping at the corners.

Tracy was awesome when I got set up with my unit, and very helpful when I broke the key off in my lock. It was easy to come and go as I needed and the fees were great. As a 2 year patron the only thing i would mention, even though there are rat traps in all of the units, it still looked like there were signs of rodent activity in the unit, nothing majorly damaged, but a few things did have to get tossed due to rodent droppings... Nobody's fault and this is not a criticism, it is what it is with outside storage. Overall a good experience!

Honestly it was an awful experience. When I moved my stuff in the unit. I didn’t think I would lose everything I owned. Due to lack of care for the units and lack of care for the customer. No one ever fixed the doors to my units, no one took the time to care for my units I was in and moved around, honestly it’s was just an overall miserable experience for me.

When a reservation was made 2 days prior to pick up date, we arrived and were black listed???, Then sent to another location 4 miles away, to not have one either, then to an even further location, causing excess mileage, and no offer to cover that mileage. We have been repeat customers of the Jax beach location on 6th St. for years. This experience was purely unprofessional and unacceptable. It will be the last time we use U-Haul, and will be sure to inform anyone else looking for rental, to NOT use this business. to say this was a major inconvenience and aggravation, would be an understatement.

We were called at 1232 when I was scheduled to pick up the uhaul at 1200 from UHaul of Neptune Beach to be told that they didn't have my truck because I had bumped someone out of the queue. I called the store earlier that week to schedule for over the weekend and was told there would be no problem. I even called to say I would be an hour late. I could've been told alot sooner that there was no truck available. I was never apologized to and I was blamed more than once during this phone call. When I showed up to Mayport Uhaul after getting a reschedule I was told he was on lunch and I would have to do it on my phone but the GPS is not in the right place for that store and after explaining this he helped me. The lady I dropped to truck back of with was extremely nice and helpful. I got an emailed receipt after dropping of the vehicle and I only received $32 back from the gas that was in the truck. When I picked it up I was told if I brought it back at 1/4 tank I would get $32 and I brought back the truck at 3/8 full.

This was the worst Uhaul experience I have ever had. It took over 2 hours and multiple trips to and from different locations with three children on board to actually get the keys to the uhaul. I was told that I didn’t look like my drivers license photo which was rude and upsetting and my employer, a friend and my ex husband had to be called to celebrity my identity. I was then send an email stating that I only had until 11:45 that evening to return the Uhaul even though there was a 2 hour delay to actually get the truck. The location was at a storage facility and the people who worked there just ignored us on the other side of the gate while smoking and the best answer I could get out of them was to call the Uhaul number. I filled up the tank all the way even though there was barely any gas when the vehicle was originally picked up because I didn’t want to be as rude as Uhaul was to me in this process. When I did go to return the Uhaul with my ten year old daughter in tow on a school night, there was nowhere to park. There were three spots and both of the other two Uhauls were parked sideways making it impossible for me to park. I had no choice but to park in front of the gate. If I am charged a fee because of this, I will be absolutely livid. I have used Uhaul so many times and never once had a bad experience. This was nothing short of awful.

I cannot say enough about the team at this location, they are professional, friendly and helpful. Anytime there was a problem with something, they always made it right and never acted like it was a problem to take of it. They took extra steps to secure all units at their expense and took care of issues that were potential problems for everyone's security. I have their services many many times and will always turn them if needed, again, I cannot say enough about this team, well done!!! Thank you so very much!!

I was not given any confirmation for my rental. I went to 3 separate locations to pick up my truck, each telling to go to a different location. Once i did get to the final location that did have a truck for me, the truck I was given had 1/16 tank of gas….. horrible experience!!!

My only issue is I ordered the U-Haul online and was told they had the appliance dolly which was necessary due to moving a refrigerator. They didn't have the dolly I needed and didn't have any for a long time at that location or the location a few miles away. I think that is bad business to say you have a product that is necessary to the move and not have it when you go pick up the rental. If it was already rented I would have understood however, they haven't had that dolly available for a long time. That was disappointing. The person I worked with was very nice and she was terrific so no issue with her or the location. Just issues with calling the customer service number and ordering something that should never have been available to order.

When I went to get my things that had been stored for only 4 weeks there were roaches and rodent droppings in the unit and on my boxed items. The rodents chewed through a few boxes leaving their feces on my clothing. Wings from roaches were in my unit and seen on my belongings as well. I can’t deal with rodents and roaches. Glad I got out before it was time to pay.

Worst customer service ever. Completely disengaged, minimum conversation unless I engaged... no information regarding policies and returning truck... had to ask if I needed a receipt for fuel, didn't look over truck for prior damages, wasnt informed to note prior damages, nothing! Thankfully I took pics of everything, including the fuel Guage! They tried to charge me an extra $63 for fuel. Not on my watch bitches. I drove 6.8 mile and put $10 of fuel in just to avoid this! Went back in and the guy helped me get it back after showing him the proof of picture prior. THIS WAS ALL DONE BY THE OWNER... TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.... GOOD EQUIPMENT

Last day of being there rented big van loaded up rear door was broken would not close all the way . Was told nothing can do about it … drove off unloaded and used half the truck because 2 plus feed door opening did not want to lose my belongings… .. not happy about it and paid full price ….

Closed on a Wednesday had to go to another location to get access code and unit number. It cost me hours of my day. No sign saying that they were closed on a Wednesday apparently every Wednesday. I also called and wasn't able to get an access number or unit number It told me I wasn't allowed to give you that information when the sign says I can online instantly. The online website was not working properly. Very disappointed. I expect better from such a large company. At least a sign saying that you're closed would go a long way.

I was unhappy when I learned that my previously made reservation was not honored and the blame was placed on the 800 number agent. I reserved a 5x10 unit then was told they didn’t have any. I wasted an hour making other arrangements. They put me in two 5x5s instead. After I went to my unit I waited 20 minutes for someone to remove the locks. I called the office and basically she forgot. My time was pressed and is always valuable. Although polite and professional I’d take getting the unit that I ordered three days in advance and CALLED TO VERIFY TWICE to be honored over office worker professionalism. I think UHaul owes me something for my time, frustration and anxiety.

My original pick up was scheduled for Neptune Beach location. However, when I got there, she advised that she had to "put down" the cargo van. Never event apologized until I asked her to and said that she was getting ready to call me AFTER I got there at the scheduled time. Very unprofessional!

It's only been a day. The lady in the office made it extremely pleasant. The only drawbacks is that there was supposed to be a lock in the unit but There wasn't and the door is difficult for me to close. I ended up driving home to get my own lock and because I didn't think to leave the van there and take my car added another 12 miles to my cargo van rental.

I've never been so flabbergasted at a business such as U-Haul running the way it did. When I think about a storage unit I think about an area to put important belongings and keep them secure. When I think about your U-Haul storage facility I think about theft mismanagement people doing things under the table my stolen goods and I don't know how many others I'm sure have had stolen goods I think about how nervous I was when I found out how many people lived in the storage units who were technically homeless I I think about my name being used to open up a storage unit and I think about how I had thousands of dollars in tools fishing rods and other furniture collectibles stolen out of my storage unit. This could have been prevented and or the person who stole the goods could have been brought to Justice if the so-called manager AKA the woman who gets people to pay cash off the clock for locks that are unaccessible. When I showed up to rent a 15-ft truck and appliance dolly there was no appliance deli and we were bombarded with nothing but excuses and answers and how she could not help us and how we were on our own when it came to the reason why my keys to my storage lock would not open my storage unit. She said I'm sorry I can't help you at call Papa lock then took my debit card and swiped it before even going over the contract and assuming that I was doing a one-way truck rental when I only wanted to do a 24-hour truck rental and drop off at that same location because as you know that would save me around $80 or $29 a day compared to over $100 a day. So then she swipes it says oh it's too late you'll get reimbursed don't worry about it I didn't care I had to move I had brought cutters and looked at every YouTube video to try to see if I could get into this unit on my own without damaging your actual hinge system. After two wasted hours dark outside

The man and woman that run the place have terrible attitudes always. I was lied to when I rented the unit about the price and special promotion... I reserved a trunk to remove my belongings, but had to wait 45 minutes while the guy tried to fix it. Was told if it broke down again that it was my responsibility.. Wanted a bigger truck, but had to settle for the smallest(broken) truck on the lot...... Horrible experience and I will never go back!! I would rather drive 50 miles to ANY OTHER facility than give those ingrates another dollar! Would highly recommend others to stay away from this place.

Really great place to store your items. Spent three years building the house and the storage units were always clean and the property always look nice. The customer service was excellent and they always remember your name and your unit. Fantastic experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Owner in the front super rude and condescending. Don’t know why it was necessary to second guess and make comments about getting the lock off, the uhaul truck being brand new, or anything really. Unit was falling apart all of my stuff is covered in dust/mold/debris. Would def not recommend that facility to anyone.

2 days ago Today I was able to finally get my stuff out of storage after more than 2 years! I was so excited! As I was attempting to unlock my unit, the property manager drove up and said I might need a different set of keys. I was totally confused since it should have had the original lock I put on it. Upon opening the door, several items fell and broke, including an antique sewing table. I had placed it in a secure place to avoid that scenario! Several pictures frames also fell out and broke, which I couldn't believe because I packed it myself and had put them in a safe place. Lo and behold, the original lock I had put on the unit was lying inside, and it was apparent that the lock had been cut! I paid on time for over 2 years and trusted Uhaul with my belongings. To make it worse, the property manager was very nonchalant about the whole situation! Could not tell me who or why the lock was changed. He tried to tell me the shift of my belongings could have been due to a hurricane! SERIOUSLY?? I also realized after cleaning out the unit that several items were missing! I would never trust Uhaul storage again! Obviously anybody can go in and cut locks off units and rummage through other's belongings! And it's Uhaul's policy to not prorate fees even if you get stuff out more than 2 weeks before the next due date. I feel like my concerns were not taken seriously and no explanation provided for the theft and rummaging through my belongings! Use American Storage next door. They are much more customer friendly.

Staff lady was super-nice and efficient. The storage rolling door was almost completely rotten and falling off, peeling paint ended up on all of the boxes and furniture in the front of the unit.
