EDWARD TThe check engine light was on in the truck. We asked the Uhaul employee about it and he said it was fine, it was just the fuel cap. We took the truck. Only to find about 1 hr later that gas was leaking very heavily and steadily out of the gas line/tank. It appeared as though there was a giant hole in the tank. We went back to return/exchange for a new truck. We feel the employee could have done a better job to compensate for the issue, especially since we had inquired about the check engine light and we reassured by the employee the truck was fine.

COREY M' Get real. Why do I need a U.S. passport to rent a utility trailer for 6 hours in town? Why does U-Haul's database not recognize an address in the city that I have lived at for over 60 years? Why is your clerk so rude?

My unit had three layers of security, the place looked brand new outside the unit, the staff were professional, and I can't think of much to complain about with them. Very convenient all around. It was climate controlled as well. It was the same temperature the whole time. I would recommend to anyone I know.

Hunter was very helpful in providing information and answering all the questions that I had in returning a rented truck, and moving into an outdoor storage unit. William TGM Nathaniel Jeffery & staff were Old School customer service that took ownership - They assisted in unstrapping my dead auto from the tow dolly & opening the truck door in below freezing weather. He then set us up by reserving climate control storage space and after this long trip, it was a blessing to have things run so smoothly. Are there other rental truck or rental storage facilities?....nope, just U-Haul.
BRENT AGM..Nathaniel was the worst example of professionalism and service. The auto transport was ice coveraged...our car almost slipped off it. When ask for help to clean it off he said he didn't have shovel, said he could give u a wi dow scraper! They don't clean off the equipment. It there is snow or ice on it when you rent it that's how you get it. Worse U haul place I have ever used. A customer got us a broom and helped guide us on to the transport. We drove and extra 30 minutes out of our way to use this location because I was told since they were a dealer they would assist in strapping the car to the transport. They were asking my son to crawl under the transport to chain it. Just horrible management!

Aaron HI rented and returned the vehicle within the same day, I was later called two days later stating that I had nor returned the vehicle. (even though I returned it same day and dropped off the keys to the person at the front door.) They then proceeded to charge me additional fees due to the "late return" even though I was no longer in possession of the truck.

GARY LThe person who was taking care of me don’t remember his name was VERY rude VERY disrespectful rushing me out at 6:59 when I was almost done also turned the lights off on me before I could get out the store. I then went outside to finish checking in because that’s what he told me to do. The lock and code that I received wasn’t working the rude worker “I don’t know his name” and Jay another worker was still in the building and watched me struggle for 30 minutes in the cold before coming out to LEAVE and me asking them for help. He opened the lock in 1 second by that time I was already on the phone with the lock people and truck people and they was about to switch me to another truck. Never had an experience like that I also came back the next day and told the manager.

JEFFREY JMake sure your truck actually works when you rent it to someone. And they don't have to go out and buy oil. And do maintenance to the truck before they do their moving and also, when you rent the truck, make sure it's not buried and other trucks.Expect a customer to dig it out

Then checking back in...all the pictures and steps....no thanks. I'll never use the app option again. Basically...I had to do UHauls job for them. Grade F

I was overcharged by $20 for the unit from what I was quoted AND gave an email confirmation for. They also charged me for insurance which I opted out of. I called immediately and got sent to the main UHaul number. The gentleman, Juan, said he could only enter notes in my account and send a message to the manager, Nathaniel, who would call me back. That was about 4pm on 5/15. No call back. So 5/15 today I call back at 2:30 pm. Again sent to main number. Talk to Lisa. Same scenario. She will send ANOTHER message to have manager call me. I need this resolved ASAP for my refund and to make sure I am auto charged correctly going forward. This is a terrible way to run a business! When they were there this afternoon putting things in the unit, they said nobody was in the office but some guy was running around outside trying to help people. Really? U don’t have someone at this busy time of year when kids are moving out of Miami University to staff your office???? I want this resolved ASAP based on what I was quoted. One was seriously the size of a small closet. I had no where else to Tammy stuff so I just had to pay up. It was uncalled for in my opinion. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They say call to resolve disputes. Why? Are they giving money back? I think not!

It was over priced, but the only thing available to me at the time. They weren’t willing to take payments on my balance. Only wanted full payment which I simply wasn’t able to do, due to lesser hours being worked. My unit was sold because I just couldn’t afford to pay the balance. So I had to let family heirlooms go. Very saddened and unhappy with my experience. I won’t be back or rent a truck again.

Berry M | Overall ExperienceThis was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. The man who processed my transaction Sunday morning was shockingly rude. He seemed to have no idea what he was doing and got bitey with me when I asked questions about my rental agreement. I reserved a unit online and he told me it didn't exist, even when I offered to show him a screenshot of the confirmation page. He instead tried to get me to buy a much larger one (at over 50% of the cost of what I'd ordered) without mentioning that another, only slightly larger, one (just $5 more) was available. I had to specifically ask if this was the case and only then did he conveniently find a comparable alternative in the system after I stood at the counter waiting for at least 15 minutes. When I told him I was having trouble getting the green zip tie off the door and asked if he had a pair of scissors I could borrow, he laughed at me, rolled his eyes, and smugly told me I needed to use my hands. I very much wish I'd chosen to use a different storage facility.
