Outstanding customer service!
CHERYL DA call saying ‘truck broke down’ and could deliver next day for packing cubes. Goods arrived safely at appointed time and place, BUT local manager at final stop called and insisted cube pick up the following day—a week before the 30-day allowance. Had to get extra help in unloading in pouring rain. Then, AT 10:30 THAT EVNING, -e-mail sent me saying giving extra day before cube pickup. Of corse, it was already unloaded. U-HAUL schedules are not always as contracted.

Brad Bclerk who did my paperwork upon check in was incredibly rude. When I questioned him about an additional charge he stated "I'm not dealing with this shit today!" He then opened his wallet and threw a ten dollar bill at me. Can't believe Uhaul hires people like this.
KRIS STry being on time. You were one hour late after a 2 hour delivery window. If you had been any later I would have been paying for people to stand around instead of unloading the u-box.

The delivery person placed the box exactly where I requested in a small driveway in the alley behind my house for my garage access, and the pickup was perfect too. Because I don't live there yet, neither time was I at home, but all went well. Thank you

Matt EThe trailer was rattling on my hitch a lot. When I came back immediately to ask if that was right I felt like I was written off. I did not feel comfortable going any distance with the trailer loaded so I felt like I wasted my money getting this trailer.
HANNAH SIt was near closing they were in a rush. I didn't get information on how to return the trailer hitch that they attached to the truck. I didn't have any information because they were in a hurry to close.

Tony CThe self check in process after the rental was annoying and very confusing. You have to download the app, make an account, and then you can check out. I had to try for 15 minutes to get into the app because it kept saying “oops, there was an error on our side. Try again later!” Great experience to have late at night trying to drop off a trailer when I just want to go home. Thought about just leaving it and calling in the morning.

BRIAN DEverything went very smoothly on both ends. The trailer was clean inside and out. We had no issues with it. We had a trailer hitch installed on our car and it worked great. We opted for dollies, purchased boxes and incidentals. Our trailer was a 5 x 8 and a gentleman who was working there recommended that I tape down a 5 x 8 box on the floor to put everything in while packing. That helped so much and I really appreciate his advice.

KIRK AThe only issue we had was that we were told that we could add a couple extra days and if we returned it early, we would not be charged for these days. We did in fact return it early but were still charged for the days we did not use it. It cost us around $100 more than it should have.

VINCENT SThe trailer was dirty inside and out. The staff didn’t have good safety knowledge. The worker was assisting with backing and didn’t know basic hand signals and she stood between the truck and trailer while the truck was backing up. An easy way to get killed or seriously injured.

WENDY AHad some serious difficulties with after hour return of the vehicle as my phone died in the midst of the return form on the app. I ended up being able to return the vehicle after getting a phone charger from a nearby gas station. Not really anyone here's fault except my own, but wanted to share this concern as it did make for a difficult return process. Other than that, staff were very friendly. I wish I didn't have to submit before and after photos, this seems like something staff could be doing instead of the renter (ESPECIALLY given how much $ I ended up paying for a short 4-hour rental).
KIRSTEN GI would like to have had the drop-off process explained better. For example, can you return your rental vehicle earlier than the time you reserved? Do you need to check in at the drop off location?
SETH SVehicles paths to doors were not shoveled out or cleared off or easy to access. They did not start the car or warm it up. Dolly was outside in the snow covered in ice. The vehicle could barely get around on the winter streets. Tire tread was not adequate and very little traction made for an unsafe experience. I got snuck multiple times, once in the middle of an intersection and another time requiring the van to be pushed. No one warns you how bad those vans are on snowy roads. I had to cancel half of the moving plans I had and return it early because i was tired of getting stuck and stressed about having to use roadside assistance.
CAROLINE CI do rentals or drop offs at this location with some frequency. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I had hired movers and they had to wait around till the area was cleared. Due to their wait, I Had to pay an extra $40. Knowing there was a reserv for that unit moving in that day, that area should have been cleared and ready for our use!

There is no gate, no keypad next to my unit, and no lockbox with a keypad to get into the unit. They got me in and took great care of me, but if I had shown up when they were closed with my U-Haul full of stuff, I would have been screwed.
