ALFREDO GThe bill and price of items before the rental need to be more transparent before the contract is signed. The bill items after return could also be more transparent. Also, the text reminder to look over the rental before leaving the lot should be earlier. We only received it after we'd left the lot.

DAVID LThe guy working the counter was extremely rude. The first thing he said to us was “ you’re late! “ I said we booked it a little early so we would have time to get there after work. He then proceeded to make a few comments. He asked how many miles we would be putting on it. I said I was unsure. We were just going from one street to the next in the same town. He looked at me and said “ well that doesn’t help me now does it?? “ At this point, after being spoken to so rudely and given such poor customer service, I looked at my husband and said “ you’re going to have to deal with him. “ I’m sorry but NO business should speak to or treat customers that way.

JORGE LThis experience was nothing short of horrible. #1- I was advised THE DAY BEFORE MY CROSS COUNTRY MOVE that I would have to drive (use gas, time I DID NOT HAVE, and KMs) to pick up the tow trailer I BOOKED WITH THE TRUCK AT ONE LOCATION. This resulted in me missing my deadline for my closing date on a home, whereby I was threatened with damages. Based on this ALONE, I would never use UHaul again, and will tell everyone I know about these tactics. How about dont fucking let people book the location they want if you can't accommodate? Like common fucking sense??? #2- At this disaster out of town location, there was zero education provided on use of the equipment. Super safe! We're only towing our fucking vehicle across the country! Thrn we are told these fees are seperate from the price quoted when i booked BOTH THE TRUCK AND THE TRAILER. Right. They further declined cash payment, which is of course, illegal. #3- The truck wouldn't start in butt fuck nowhere Quebec, setting us back even further on our timeline and naturally causing distress. #4- When driving to a second location to drop items off, with the truck partially full, the brakes jolted, resulting in items flying around in the truck, damaging several of our belongings. #5- Guess what? You changed the fucking drop off location too! Maximizing the inconvenience to your (former) customer. Thanks for THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, NEVER AGAIN. AND never again for anyone who'll listen to me! You have competitors who actually care about business.

OMAR RI had reserved a Trailer and when I got there for pick up, trailer wasn’t there! Had to wait a day after to get the trailer I reserved! Didn’t even get a discount! Lost an afternoon of work and $50 of gas to get there. Not impressed!

J RSubject: Complaint Regarding Dangerous U-Haul Equipment During My Move Hello, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and serious concern following my recent experience with U-Haul. I rented equipment for transportation for a long-distance trip from New Brunswick to Montréal. From the very start, I informed the agent that the equipment (the one attached to my car) seemed too close to the ground. He assured me that it was not a problem and that it was safe. Throughout the trip, this equipment scraped the ground heavily on several occasions, including on the highway, which created very dangerous situations — including one instance where the vehicle skidded, putting my family and myself in danger. I believe that: • The equipment provided was not suitable for my vehicle. • The agent did not take my initial warnings seriously. • My safety and my family’s safety were compromised over several hundred kilometers. • I paid nearly $700 for the equipment attached to my car alone, which is unacceptable given the experience. I request: 1. An immediate investigation into this matter. 2. A partial or full refund, considering the danger and stress endured. 3. Measures to prevent this type of problem from happening again. DEAN LThe only issue is that I reserved a specific trailer to fit my needs 1 week prior. Day before I was told said trailer was not available. Rented a different trailer and made it work. Question is, why have the reservation option available when booking online when it's not available?
