The manager (Mr. Gregory) at the NewBern location along with the manager at the Newport locatio (Mrs. Peggy Sue) were incredible in helping me through this move. After 33 moves most of which have been with Uhaul, I can proudly say that as a company you have always come through; proffessionaly and personally. My cinsere thanks to you local teams and their leadership.

MARY GI had to exchange the first trailer I picked up as the trailer was incorrectly marked with the wrong width. Front of the trailer had paint that said it was 48 inches wide when it was really only a little over 40 inches wide. This became clear when my lawn mower with a 42 inch deck would not fit on it. I had to return to the location to get a larger trailer.

STUART HWebsite indicated a closing time of 7. We brought the truck in at 6:15 and Ty indicated it was too close to closing to do the actual check in. I mentioned that the heater in the truck did not work and would like to ask if that fact could be used to offset our amount of extra miles. He indicated he would leave a note for the manager. He did not. If he had bothered to check me in, I would have known I was at the wrong location. Instead , I got a reminder call from the correct location in Morehead City looking for their missing truck. Sarah at THAT location went out of her way to keep me informed about the next steps with corporate. She was the absolute epitome of helpful customer service in solving a problem she did not create! Truly outstanding and should be recognized for that.

CHARLES VThe staff was so helpful, especially since I had never rented a u - haul of any kind before. Sue, who checked me in and went over instructions with me, was very professional and friendly! Then when I returned the cargo van after dark, I realized one chair had been left in the van. Unfortunately, it would not fit in my car left on-site to drive home! The staff found rope and helped me put the chair as far as it would go into the back of my car. Then they helped me tie down the trunk door so the chair could not fall out. I don't know the names of the man and the woman who helped me that night before closing, but I so appreciate them, especially since assisting me in extremely cold weather was service "ABOVE AND BEYOND"!!

Wayne SYour app to return the equipment is awful. One wrong click and you have to start over. Good thing I had decent cell service because if not , the personell would not come check it in despite being during business hours
MALACHI JStaff was awesome and very helpful. It’s a new facility and in great shape and excellent security measures. The manager took time to show me how everything worked and was very patient and accommodating.

LINDSAY CAllow me to get a van where I book the van, specifically at Sinclair's. I had to drive several extra miles out of my way to pick up and return to this location for no good reason, except maybe that U-Haul wants to sell more moving supplies and shove aside smaller facilities. Although the Newport facility is nice and all, I am not real thrilled with the overall U-Haul experience.
