The lady who worked at the desk today was awful and rude and snatched my moms paper out of her hand.

It was a great experience renting the vehicle from Manteca CA.

The staff were friendly. The truck was in good shape and did the job well. I did not like that the checkout process in entirely dependent on my phone. My phone was not able to connect with their website and there was no other way to checkout the truck. I had to call my son to come from the next town to use his phone to be able to do the check out. There needs to be an alternate process that doesn't require use of my cell phone.

Upon return of the vehicle, I waited for a few minutes at the return site for someone to come out, I got tired of waiting, and so started the mobile return. I completed the mobile return, still no associate appeared. I went into the store to hand off the key, and they were surprised to see me- had been unaware that I had been waiting at the return site. It seems more vigilant observation of the return site is warranted.

Forced / unexpected moves can be very stressful and incredibly disruptive. The various UHaul representatives were generally kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful each time I had to make yet another inquiry or change. VERY ACCOMODATING! Special thanks to Chris for taking the lead, carefully explaining my options, going over details multiple times so this 74- year old senior citizen could manage this transition from living in a house to having one’s possessions stored until a new home is found. Many, many thanks to this UHaul group in Manteca ~ from sales reps to the box delivery gal (she is wonderful,) to schedulers, and the others who facilitated this process for me. You are TEN STAR and beyond based on my current experience. Barbara

Delivery and pick up drivers on both ends were super friendly and customer service oriented. Box was clean and ready to load. Number of pads was perfect. Telephone conversations were equally as excellent and customer service was obviously a top priority for the agents with whom I spoke.

The manager guy is awesome. He was very helpful each time I've lost my lock and he was so helpful helping me get into my unit. I was very thankful. I'm not sure who one of the guys are that works in the office, but he likes to put people on hold for a very, very, very, very, very long time a guy with a deep voice. That always puts people on hold, and never comes back to help them. That guy needs to learn how to go back to help people when they're on hold for soooo long, but the manager don't remember his name, super way nuce polite cool guy, very nice, very professional excellent, excellent excellent he should be promoted to a district manager.Honestly.

u haul smelled like cigerette smoke. visors were broken. driver side visor flapped in the way, passenger visor missing. dome light was kn whwn we got in and was very hot

I had a reservation for 10:00 am. When I got there the trailer I had reserved was given away. No real explanation was given as to why the trailer was given away.

The vehicle cab was not very clean when I picked it up and the check engine light was on. The latter was corrected before I left with the truck. (Code was for an emissions/catalytic converter error. It was cleared and didn’t reappear during my usage period.)

They were really awesome and accommodating to my needs. I called and said I'd be late and they rescheduled my pick up no problem. And they let me bring it back earlier than I anticipated. Overall Chris and Sierra were really nice and professional

The truck didn’t handle well, both loaded and unloaded. Steering was very loose. The headlights were very dim at night making it difficult to drive.
