I reserved a 26" box truck on March 22, 2025 over a month prior to my moving date to be picked up in Hudson NH near my existing home to be returned on Fisherville Road in Concord NH near my new home knowing the truck is a big truck and not something I drive every day. I received a call on Wednesday April 23rd saying that truck was not available in Hudson but I could pick one up in Nashua. When I went to pick up the truck I was told that I was returning the truck to Stickney Ave. in Concord which is NOT where I made the reservation. I told the employee that I reserved Fisherville Road as my return spot. She assured me that I could do that. I ended up having to drive the truck through the city of Nashua and across the Hudson Bridge which is now down to one lane, not an easy task. When I went to return the truck to Fisherville Road they had closed at 10:00 am and their after hours drop QR Code was colored out so I was not able to drop the truck there. I then had to drive the truck through Concord to return it to Stickney Road. I tried calling the Nashua office where I picked it up and got put on a never-ending hold. Not a pleasant experience after moving in the rain all day and cost me additional gas money for the extra miles. To improve this for the next customer you should be able to support the reservation as it was requested.

The staff were very helpful and made the rental of my utility trailer hassle/free. The tech (Mike) even installed the correct size ball hitch assembly to my already installed hitch receiver for me IN THE RAIN. I heartily recommend this particular U-Haul facility!

Place is unbelievably clean and well lit. So nice to be able to pull into the unload area where it is quite comfortable and spacious. Deb in office was so professional, but personable.

The brand new climate controlled building is amazing warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Huge double drive in loading bays with automatic garage door opening sensors blew my mind! Massive elevator. The storage unit I chose was the perfect size for my needs the height of the ceiling was very surprising. I didn't measure it, but it is about ten feet tall! The ultra clean bathroom is a very nice touch. Make sure you swipe your card correctly, the alarm works! 🤣

Our truck was clean and well maintained. The right seat belt was a bit stiff but still functional. The stiffness may have been due to the below freezing temperature.

It was a great experience overall. Debbie at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Great attitude and just happy to have her helping me figure it out on an otherwise stressful day of moving! Also, I appreciate that someone came out to check in with me as I was getting ready to drive the truck off the lot. Again, great attitude and offered me just the help I needed. PS The self-check-in/check-out app was somewhat cumbersome, however having helpful people on-site made things move smoothly.

Drivers door on our truck wouldn't completely close. I suspect that ice or snow got into the mechanism since we rented during a storm. Everything else was fine and worked well for our trip.

Even though the truck was cleaned and well-maintained. It still had some issues there was a nick in the windshield That looks like a rock may have hit it and the rollup door and back was really hard to open all the way and hard to close once it came down to the bottom it sounded like something might be wrong with the track. Also, the truck was so high me being 5 foot 10 had to get some thing to step on to get into the truck side steps at the doors would be very helpful Especially for the amount of money that I paid.

Do a better job of maintaining the equipment. This truck had a check engine light when I picked it up. Location cleared the codes, but they came back within a few miles. Fuel economy was terrible, 5mpg with light load.

No need for improvement. I selected a storage unit/size of truck for the move. Convenient location, spotless, and priced right. Moving day had many variables on my end-but when finally on the schedule, UHAUL made everything happen on their end. UHAUL returned my calls when dropped because of weak cell service. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Overall, my best moving experience.

Keep your trucks in better repair. This truck has loose steering and a very cranky gearshift. Fortunately, I didn't need to take it over 40mph because it was scary enough to drive at that speed.

The email receipt has a font so SMALL that it's unreadable. It can't be blow up or enlarged. I have NO idea what the final cost was. Next time I'll waste time and resources in store having paper hardcopies printed.

I walked into the Nashua location,! located on Amherst St at 7:50pm and I knew I was cutting it close to 8:09pm, but I was greeted right away by your General Mgr and apologized for walking in right before closing time, but had to wait for my friend to bring me there. She looked exhausted, but was so friendly and gave me 100% Customer Satisfaction! Please note: This is the first time I ever walked through the door of this facility and was uncertain how I was going to be treated right before closing time. There were two people training and they couldn’t figure out what they were doing even with the reservation I had brought with me. That wasn’t the issue because they were so kind and I’m very patient and understanding. It was when the woman Debbie came in. My father was just trying to explain things to her and she gave so much ignorant attitude but if it wasn’t for my dad I would have walked out. She would cut him off every second she could because she was training which she could have simply stated “ I apologize for the wait but I’m walking him through this if you could give me more time” would have sufficed. I work at a hospital and customer service is our number one priority. I’m sorry but I never complain but it felt like she was being prejudice towards my father for being Hispanic who also retired from Harvard university and earned a degree in his free time. I’m just really disappointed because my father should have never been cut off mid sentence as she did. Now I will sue the trainees had more customer service than she did and I believe they make more of an asset than she ever will. I think she should learn from them. Not only was it such a long process but to deal with an attitude such as that was not worth it. I will compliment on how clean it is and that one trainee I wish I remembered his name was an absolute sweetheart who showed me how to work the card and where my storage was. Please give praise to the trainees because they were amazing but Debbie needs more patience if she wants to work in customer service. It was kind of pathetic.

The day I moved out was the first bad day that I've had while having that unit the worker was rude was not understanding about the miscommunication on U-Hauls end there was Zero professional customer service I do have the lock and key I was not told that I needed to bring it I was just told to let you guys know I was moved out so I will be there tonight to drop it off I just have a job and kids that I need to worry about first but I will bring you your key and lock and hopefully I won't be charged another month because I have the lock and key and can't make it to you right this second like the other woman said yesterday

The staff at UHaul are just wonderful. I have dealt with them before, where my son also has a storage unit. They are always so helpful. I needed packing supplies and was going to just get your run of the mill tape and boxes. The employee (I wish I knew his name, but I believe he is the only male) pointed out many other options. The bubble sealable bags on a roll have made life much easier! It is always a pleasure dealing with Deb. She is friendly and very efficient. The facility is clean. This particular UHaul represents your company very well. I hope you let them know they are appreciated. They have made a very difficult time in my life far less stressful.
