While my rental was cut short due to mechanical issues. This location did provide appropriate help and support. Customer service was great.

JOAN WOne of the Uhaul boxes – the steel kind – had a leak in the back corner, which did reach my furniture. My sofa has a little stain on the arm, because I had missed wrapping that part with the plastic wrap. I would recommend that Uhaul representatives suggest that all upholstered furniture be wrapped.

Knowing what I do now, I would recommend 4 U-boxes for a 2 bed apartment + garage, and we only needed 3 hours of contract labor to unload them. We were very pleased at every phase of the move from loading containers, the shipment, and the delivery - we were kept informed every step of the way and the cost was a fraction of what other movers quoted! I'm recommending U-Haul to all my family and friends.

MIGUEL LNewer model trucks can be quite mysterious to customers accustomed to traditional vehicles. A short printed introduction to the controls, functions and those little lighted icons on the dashboard would be helpful.

KEVIN AOne the truck was in good repair, but the windows inside the truck were very dirty so I cleaned them myself. The location is tricky to find. Having the entrance area more open when a person directly pulls into the parking lot would be a big help. The staff is nice.
Darlene LI was estimated for my containers to be delivered to my house on the 5th. When I called for the delivery I was told they wouldn’t be delivered until 2 weeks after that time - but we needed our items, especially our work clothes. When we tried to go to the storage to pick up our items, the warehouse closed at 4pm every day, but we weren’t off work until 5pm. It took us taking off work, coming in on two different weekends, and having two separate friends bring their trucks to move our furniture. The amount of stress, time, and effort forced onto us by the “slightly incorrect” date was astronomical and not worth any penny “saved” by boxes. The next time someone else uses this: either make sure the pods get to them in the time frame given, or give them their money back.

Michael SFirst off the website guaranteed pick up in Camarillo, then they called me saying I had to pick up in oxnard and wouldn't transfer the truck to camarillo. That added about 20 extra miles to the mileage billing, (unfair business practices?). Not a good start. Then they said they could reduce the mileage cost. Then they offered a credit. I asked for a credit for the 20 miles they said no. It was just a weird billing situation and the guarantee on the website that wasn't actually a guarantee was not a good. Thanks.
Daniel GI had problem with the gas in the beginning of my drive (with proof).. it was less than 1/4th and I paid way more for gas then I should’ve.. I would love to get a refund if possible. Other than that everything else and the service was great
